"I AM A NEW STUDENT AT DEVRY UNIVERSITY. I AM IN SHOCK ABOUT THE REVIEWS I JUST READ. I AM EXPERIENCING THE EXACT OPPOSITE. MY PROFESSORS EMAIL ME EVERY SINGLE DAY. AND ASSIGNMENTS ARE GRADED QUICKLY. THERE IS A LOT OF ANSWERS THAT CAN BE FOUND ON THE INTERNET. BUT, THE HONOR SYSTEM IS REQUIRED. THERE IS A LOT OF HANDS ON WORK, WHICH I LOVE, AND I AM A VET. SO, WHATEVER IS GOING ON WITH THE LOANS PEOPLE ARE REFERRING TO WILL NOT AFFECT ME, I WONT SPEAK ON THAT. I ALSO HAVE A TRADITIONAL DEGREE IN ECONOMICS FROM AUBURN UNIVERSITY. THAT IS WHAT WILL GET MY FOOT IN THE DOOR, MOST COMPANIES JUST WANT YOU TO BE ABLE TO WORK IN THE COMPUTER APPLICATIONS. I AM WORKING ON A TECHNOLOGY CERTIFICATION. AND I AM COMPUTER LITERATE. BUT, I MUST SAY I AM BEING DISCOURAGED TO HEAR THAT EMPLOYEES LAUGH AT THIS DEGREE. SO, IN MY CASE , I AM LEARNING THIS COMPUTER CURRICULUM AND I AM NOT CUTTING AND PASTING. AND PASSING THE CERTIFICATION EXAM IS ALL THAT MATTERS."

"I would rate my experience at DeVry University as positive and on a number scale I would rate it a 4 out of 5. I always felt they supported, which was incredibly important to me as an online student. They were always available when I had questions whether it was a technical issue, finance question or school related. My adviser called me diligently to make sure I was doing well and on track and didn't have any issues. They had plenty of knowledgeable staff to provide help when I needed it. I also found their teaching staff to be well educated, approachable and willing and able to provide whatever guidance or support I needed. I liked the forum approach and how everyone lifted each other up. I took all my classes online except for statistics which was too difficult for me to take online. They were very accommodating and allowed me to attend a local branch to get through that class and they had plenty of locations to choose from even though I was an online student. The teacher was so incredibly helpful, and I felt he really wanted me to succeed. I felt supported by financial aid as well as they took the time to explain my options. My only complaint is that the tuition is higher than many other universities, which is why I chose to attend a different university for my masters program. It wasnt for a lack of satisfaction. In totality, I was very satisfied by my experience at DeVry."
