I just completed my degree at DeVry in Business Technical management with a focus in Human Resource Management. I already had some college credits and completed 19 with DeVry. I was initially apprehensive about the work load because it was online, but honestly it wasn't that bad. I took 2 classes each term, which lasted 2 months and I didn't feel overwhelmed by the workload. During that time, I had a full time job and a new born my last 9 classes. I think the work is very manageable. I had to submit... Read More

I will NEVER recommend this school to anyone. They do not give you the tools to succeed. They don't provide software for you, you have to use their horrible Citrix server that DOESN'T WORK!!!!! Then, when you call for help, they leave you on hold for 10 minutes and then hang up on you. Go somewhere where your money will be better spent. This overprice school is awful!!

Their financial aid services are terrible. They are not timely on tuition reimbursmeng. They forget to send invoices to your job to where you have to call them constantly to get results and the turn around time is 3-4 months just to receive it back completed correctly. Other schools turn around time is really fast. Devry does not care but will bill you immediately when a balance is due but not handle their part when it comes to handling.

I attended DeVry for several years part-time and completed 86 credits. My final class was online accounting. The program I used required that I enter numbers but the program kept changing it and giving me a response incorrect. I informed the Professor and he reset the program, when I tried again the system did the same thing. I did not finish the class. I experience multiple computer issues during my attendance. I am now finding out that my credits aren't even recognized as an Associate degree level.... Read More

If you are looking for an online program that caters to a flexible schedule, this is not the school for you. They advertise as being flexible, yet changed their curriculum to course long group projects that are worth most of the course points. The groups consist of people in different times zones and it's not easy to get others to do their part. I have had to complete most of every group project for the last 3 sessions (6 courses), and yes, there are projects and group work in EVERY class now. Not... Read More

I felt that the education that DeVry University provided was of high caliber. Because of my military experience, I had a background in training and management. DeVry amplified my knowledge on all of the aspects that I would need to further my understanding while in the military but also the characteristics of the private sector.

The program was extremely helpful and it brought real world issues into the classroom to allow us to work as a team for recommendable solutions. Course materials were appropriate for each session exceeded my expectations and the professors were knowledgeable about the lessons and reachable in time of need. The student resources were beneficial to me when I needed a more hands-on experience, including tutoring onsite. No question was ever considered to be "dumb" the students even chimed in to help... DeVry teaches you the best tool you need for your goals. The professors are committed in helping you to the last effort of making sure you understand the concept of the daily topics and can apply it correctly. I have been out for 3 years for financial reason, now DeVry gave second chance to return by offering me scholarships and school grants that helped me retain my confidence to complete my degree. I am very close to receive my first degree in my life. I hope it lands me on my dream job. Thank... Read More
