"I was excited to attend Devry. However Devry uses outdated materials like 5years old and in tech that’s huge. I’ve been in school over 1.5 years and have no option for an assortment degree. Though I have learned some I do not feel prepared for the work industry that I should be entering with a certificate in 5 months. They make you believe a certificate is good enough however all the jobs I looked at are requiring a degree. Very disappointed in Devry."

"I enrolled because the online programs were at your own pace and that is not true. I work 13 hour days 4 days a week and the weekend and Mondays are the only days I can catch up on my schoolwork. I was dropped from a class because I didn’t “participate enough”. I work a full time from 6:30 am to 8:00 pm and it is hard."

"My advisor is inadequate and incompetent to guide me through the educational situation, I have not spoken or heard from that guy so I just refuse to contact him. whom ever he is surely is not tracking my education and should be the first to compliment and give supporting advice on staying on Deans list because of him I believe I waisted a lot of my time with this school doing subjects I have done already and regret being present for this journey. I am not very happy at all but just keep pressing on to my prize and aim until I choose the other school Fortunately, I am able to receive a 3.56 GPA / make the Deans list twice this year. Despite the craziness that's going on, I managed to stay focus and dedicated to my goal of achieving high"

"Using devry had been a wonderful learning experience. There obligation to there students is held as top priority. The learning process is projected around the way your mind learns. And every teacher reached out to help study, or rather you need extra tim they'll take the time out to reach out and make sure you understand the subject"

"I came to Devry only because I was granted a scholarship and I had a military discount which was supposed to make my tuition free. I started the semester and was told to wait for my scholarship to clear in my account because it takes time. Fast forward to the end of the semester and I have a $1300 bill from them. I call them AGAIN and they tell me I was denied the scholarship because I am military affiliated. They never sent me a notice, never called me, never made any attempt to communicate with me. They swindled me out of my money. And, I found out later that the classes that I took are not even transferable credits. Don’t waste your time or money with them!!"

"DeVry University has challenged me to excel in the class. My success depends on how much effort I put into my studies; I am consistent with my study habit. Our professors are mostly experts in the field and very knowledgeable, but not only that, they are helpful. DeVry has given me the chance to enjoy learning and apply it in the real world. I will finally receive my diploma and am in the process of applying for their MSA. Thank you, DeVry University!"

"Online courses were terrible at DeVry University. The professors were not responsive, and the responses I did received were systematic. Basically, I educated my self during this 2 year program and paid the school for their curriculum. My financial advisor was inadequate and incompetent to rindering my financial situation. I believe I waisted my time with this school and regret being present for this journey. Fortunately, I was able to receive my Bachelor's with a 3.2 GPA this year. Despite the craziness that's going on, I managed to stay focus and dedicated to my goal. For the amount of money I invested in this program, I should have registered for onsite!"

"I just completed my degree at DeVry in Business Technical management with a focus in Human Resource Management. I already had some college credits and completed 19 with DeVry. I was initially apprehensive about the work load because it was online, but honestly it wasn't that bad. I took 2 classes each term, which lasted 2 months and I didn't feel overwhelmed by the workload. During that time, I had a full time job and a new born my last 9 classes. I think the work is very manageable. I had to submit at least 3 discussion post each week for each class and usually would have an assignment to submit as well. I'm not the most studious person and I was able to earn a 3.72 Gpa. It seemed intimidating at the beginning, but once I got into a groove it wasn't difficult at all. I would recommend taking online classes."

"I can say that I had always heard great things about DeVry University and that’s what prompted me to want to go. I had been out of school for over 20 years so I was apprehensive but ready. I chose DeVry!! I love it!! Love all of my professors , they work with you, challenge you, and push you towards excellence. You will not regret one moment. There is so much that I want to say because at 63, and going back to college, is a very humbling and honorable experience . You will not go wrong choosing DeVry as your school, you will come out with a full sense of accomplishment and desire to go much further."

"Devry and my SSA have worked with me threw some hellacious crap that has gon on in my life. My first professor was quite flexible and answered questions rather quickly. However my second professor seems to be ok at his job but not so good at working with students. That kinda irritates me. However I cant juge the entire school on his merits. The student support and financial aid advisors have been outstanding. The courses are directed mostly at learning on your own. So if your not disciplined fined a school that will hold your hand. But I have ADHD and I can remember to jump on and do my course work. 10/10"

"I have been taking the Web Development online course for over a year and it has been a complete disaster. #1 The course syllabus needs a revamp with better material and EVERY class should have lectures. #2 The professors are a joke and don't seem to want to do their jobs!!! I have sent emails with questions and got no answers or answers that did nothing for me and I also asked to have one on one meetings but had to go to the advisors to complain because the professors did not respond. This has happened a few times. After complaining about one teacher, the teacher in return tells me that they are working 3 jobs so it was hard to meet with me. I am paying a lot of money to attend this school and now with 2 classes to go I can say that I have not learned as much as I should have. I hope this can help other students to not make the decision not to go to this school or maybe by some miracle DEVRY will change their course and get more devoted instructors. 20k DOWN THE DRAIN!!! I have spoken to other students as well who have had the same issues so I know now I have not done anything wrong."

"I hated my online experience. I didn’t get to complete the program. I decided to take a different route at another Institute where I was able to understand the work much differently. I’ve been stuck with this huge bill! And there’s no way out!! Thanks for nothing!"

"0 for everything. You will end up teaching yourself the entire program, so I hope you don't like sleep and love frustration. The Professors don't know what they are even doing and refer you to the help desk for all and any questions using programs they want you to use for tests because they are too lazy to write their own. The professors will change due dates to an earlier date in Canvas without notifying you. (I thought I was just crazy until I started taking screenshots at the beginning of each week to prove it). They reuse all the assignments and directions from previous (and I really mean previous) classes because everything is so outdated the instructions & amount of points will conflict with all of the grading rubrics. But hey maybe it's not entirely the professors fault considering from what I have read from emails, announcements and assignments they barely speak English, if they do it's extremely broken English, and they never use spell check because there will be MULTIPLE spelling & grammar errors..But make sure you don't make any or they will take off points. -Also an average of about 20 out of the 50 minutes in a lecture will be made up of either silence, "Um's..." or "Hold on I need to look something up..." -After tests or homework is graded professors refuse to give out the correct answers or tell you what you did wrong because "I might want to use this for another class" and are worried you will give out all of the answers to someone else. ADVISORS WILL NEVER RESPOND TO YOU AFTER THE INITIAL ENROLLMENT PROCESS IS OVER. My "Student Support Advisors" have changed every 2 months (or less) and never respond to emails to the point where I had to go to the Dean to have my class schedule corrected because my second "Support Advisor" messed it up. They have messed up my financial aid to the point where I should have had $1,500.00 refunded to me to put towards my loans, changed to a $300.00 refund, to me owing $1,600.00 all in a period of over 2 weeks. I understand this school might sound tempting for a Medical Coding or Health Information online program, but don't let them fool you it's a complete joke. I graduate at the end of August and will never recommend this school to anyone. Best of luck to all."

"I would agree with the other reviews for this school. The financial department is a joke. The professors dont teach you anything. The entire institute doesnt help or even care to help. All of my knowledge came from google or YouTube. DO NOT GO HERE!!"

"Being a student at DeVry University has been really an awesome experience. I still have sometime to go, but hard work and determination is the key to success. Devry has offered professional professor's and the curriculum is strict but a good source for a top education."

"Would not recommend this school. They have not done anything but caused problems since day one. First, they are not homeschool friendly and will make you jump through a lot of hoops to prove you graduated, even if you have a diploma or transcript! Also, they will say and agree with you on everything just to get you in the door and start collecting the money for it. All advisors and financial aid staff will consistently say different things about what you need or dont need. No one seems to be on the same page! Some professors are great, friendly and to the point. Some are overly detailed to the point of confusion, they expect way more work than the normal class and they dont communicate well so your work suffers. I would highly recommend going somewhere else if you can."

"I owed a debt . Asked for a payment plan. Wasnt given a timeline to pay the debt. Paid the debt in full. While paying the debt back devry made my account inactive and dropped the associated degree program. I was not notified by phone or in writing. Not knowing I was inactive I filled out fasa to return. Then I understood the degree was dropped. and I needed to register. Now I owe student loans and no degree. DONT NOT GO TO DEVRY. DEVRY DOES NOT CARE. I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE TO DEVRY. THE Q WORSE SCHOOL EVER."
