"This terrible for profit school will get you nowhere. Even after qualifying for financial aid and a ton of loans. I was still required to pay $100 a month directly to the school to attend. Which looking back now was probably a scam. I told them before I started I wanted to be able to work in a gynecologist office or eventually become a midwife and they told me they will help make that happen, but after graduation, the only jobs I could find was caring for elderly. But I don't have that in me. Not the direction I wanted to go. I haven't worked in the medical field since I graduated and am stuck with student loan dept I'll never be able to pay back."

"Okay so its been years since I attended , but Im still paying loans on a course that was a waste of my time !!! The teachers where not educated enough to be teaching , I knew more then them and when I decided to drop the program because it was pointless the financial department was supposed to send my student loans as pro rated since I didnt finish the course , well that never happened EVER!!! The same course I took at Dorsey in Wayne for 16k I could have takes at school craft for 1/2 that ."

"DORSEY WAYNE is the school of hoodrats. Do not go to this school there is a lot of drama, bullying, and straight up inappropriate behavior between students and staff. I was harassed by a group of hoodrats . One of these hoodrats made inappropriate comments about my body. I felt embarrassed and shocked that another woman would make comments like that. Those comments usually come from men. Miss W loves the hoodrats she is the queen of the hoodrats. I guess it doesn't bother her if they harass other women given how she looks. She lets them do whatever they want in her class. The director didn't care about the hoodrat behavior either. My classmates and I have had a hard time finding jobs as Medical Assistants. Some of my friends are working as nurse assistants (bed pans, baths, changing linens) some of my other friends are working as housekeepers. That is not what we signed up for ! It was a complete waste of time and money . You will end up with nothing but debt. I strongly do not recommend anyone to attend this place. I feel sorry for people desperate enough to attend this dump."

"DORSEY SCHOOLS is a joke, They don't care about their students nor their employees, Dorsey Schools are horrible and need to be shut down. They take advantage if their students and employees. The Dean  needs to be fired immediately because she is uneducated, unprofessional, unsympathetic to the student body base. She is a terrible and rude person."

Also attending online school for B.A in Arts and Psychology right now .First step my always be a mistake but to a better open doors ,I work before as breakfast server and to be where I'm at I personally thank Dorsey , all the team and great teachers. 2 of my fav teacher it was a guy for English class and a lady teach us anatomy ...I have a huge sympathy of the hard work they gave. Again if u attend any school with desire and pay fully attention in achieving ur goal this school is a plus for a first step towards ur future."

"Be afraid! Go to a community college it's cheaper! Why waste....oops, spend the $ to get a certificate and do a ridiculous externship that will make it hard for you to work and do. Think before you sign your spending ALOT $ for this and a community college is cheaper."

"Dorsey Schools are the worst. They only care about the money. They say you will be dropped if you miss 10 days in a row but then they don't drop those people and those of us that didnt miss had to sit and wait while that person gets caught up. They let good instructors go and keep the ones that have favorites and don't keep records. I got a 100% attendance award for a module that I missed 3 days because I was sick. We were given test questions before the test and the answers, the same thing happened with the finals. Now I don't think I am going to pass the certification exam because I didn't learn, we only memorized answers. My extern says I was taught everything wrong but they dont care that I only got to give 3shots and only drew blood 4 times. I never could hear a blood pressure but they passed me anyway. This school should be shut down, Everyone cheats and no one cares, not even the Dean. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!"

"I'm still currently attending Dorsey in Madison Heights and I'll start off by saying that the instructors are absolutely impressive. I adore the ones I've had so far. My issue are some of the students that I am forced to deal with. The ones in particular complain, they find people to target and antagonize, and they're extremely rude to the instructors. Unfortunately the instructors can only do so much without disrupting the class. I have gone to my counselor and have let them know my personal experience and what I've seen others go through and nothing has been done. I am never one to complain, I hate complaining. I try to see a silver lining in everything but it's absurd to think that if these particular individuals cause unnecessary problems with other students, why are they getting in the medical field to be surrounded by people that depend on our respect and kindness? Maybe writing this review will gain attention at the school and someone will step up and do something about the issue."

"Wasting a year on this program was among the biggest mistakes I've ever made. If it weren't for a few instructors I greatly appreciated I never would have made it to graduation. I attended the Saginaw, MI campus where the lead staff was anything but helpful and extremely condescending. I graduated January of 2013 and their financial aid mistakes are still causing problems for me. A school wide mistake made by their financial department while I was attending caused problems for over half of the students attending. Not to mention the $400 bill I received months after I was no longer a student at the school. When I called to sort out the situation I was not surprised when I was transferred around and eventually ended up having to make an hour trip up to the school to speak to someone in person. I thought we got everything sorted out that day and I would finally be done with the school and it's crap. Now today I am writing this review to vent my frustration with the fact that I now have to pay extra on my taxes for more of their financial department mistakes. I will say I did have a job as soon as my internship was finished. However my internship was done at an office where I had prior connections and had nothing to do with the school. I now am currently seeking a job in a new state and having Dorsey on my resume does not seem to help at all."

"Biggest and most obvious problem is the ESL (English as a Second Language) students that refuse to speak English. This rule was enforced for the 1st few weeks....now it's ridiculous. Welcome to America! NOW LEARN/SPEAK PROPER ENGLISH!!!!!!!!!! Dorsey has had complaints and students fired from their internship sites because of their poor reading and speaking skills. Offering free ESL classes has not been successful...so English comprehension and speaking classes should be required for all ESL students at all campuses...especially Madison Heights."
