"Eastern Kentucky University is a great campus for first time college students or returning nontraditional students. Very small classes and lots of options for other ways to get involved in the community."

"I have heard os many great things about the program and am very excited to get back into my undergrad alma mater. Classes don't start for another month or so, but I have already had wonderful experiences with the professors of the program. You can tell that they actually enjoy their career and want to make a difference. They're very welcoming and have responded extremely quickly considering that it's still summer. The director of the Program is also extremely helpful and seems to care a lot about the students."

"The city surrounding EKU is very small and easy to navigate but there is also very few things to do. Be prepared to drive to Lexington for anything outside of bowling and the occasional night out at a restaurant."

"EKU is a small campus that is easy to navigate. Teachers are easy to contact and are always willing to set up meetings if you have issues with class. My classes are very hands-on, not everything is straight book learning."

"The graduate program at Eastern Kentucky University provided large amounts of information that greatly interested me in emergency management and homeland security. However, some classes had very hard work loads in which fighting just to get basic assignments done was difficult. Faculty and Facilitators were knowledgeable about the field and were willing to impart their experiences on the students."
