"The pace and class participation is exactly what I needed. It allows you to still have a life away from school especially, if like me, you are married with kids in elementary school. Everglades allows me to do what I need to now so that I can do what I want to later."

"Always very helpful with any concerns I have and always willing to guide me in the right direction. They give you all the tools you need to be successful in your future career. I have yet to get a job in the field I went to school for but I have gotten some great tips on searching for jobs from the student services department. If I could do it all over I wouldn't changed a single thing."

"I graduated from Everglades U in 2009 after transferring 2 years earlier from another University where I was taking my generals. I had been working for 15 years prior to enrolling because I wanted an education to back up my experience. It took me 24 straight months to complete the program online. I married, had a child and moved across the country all within this 24-month period. I also ran a successful business unit for the largest rehab company in the world. I absolutely loved this program and how they worked around my schedule. It was by far the toughest 4-year period I have experienced; I wanted to quit several times but didnt. I didnt want nor could I have attended the traditional college program. After 15 years of construction and working life I didnt want the distraction of a campus life, I just wanted to focus on my education. I remember the quick pace with the classes, 1-month change, 1-month change. It reminded me of changes on a construction project; you had to be able to adjust, figure it out and complete the work. The tests were timed and reviewed thoroughly. The Curriculum was tough and challenging and after 15 years in the construction industry my education put everything into big picture perspective. My college education and degree were what I earned and what I put into it. I wanted to be learning. I desired something more and Everglades helped me obtain it. The Professors were professional and always available. The conference calls with classmates and Professors are exactly like round table discussions today. I will always be thankful for this program and others like it that cater to the working professional. I do read about the people that were not satisfied with their online learning. Its definitely not for everyone. I had zero issues with financial aid and getting enrolled or communicating with my Professors and counselors."

"I have had a great experience with this school. My classes were online and fast paced. I started a new class every month, but that did not make the classes any less effective. It made me have to work harder to make sure that i understood the subject. I appreciate the instructors for all the help throughout my time here."

"I chose Everglades as a means to complete my bachelor's degree online because "life" wouldn't allow me the time to attend the state college that I originally attended. From day one, the staff welcomed me with open arms and provided exceptional support throughout my journey all the way to the graduation stage. The professors are very knowledgeable and most are established leaders in the construction industry. My family is forever grateful for the opportunity Everglades University has provided me to advance in my career and increase my earning potential."

"I like Everglades because it is small and there aren't as many distractions as in a larger school. Because many of the students are older, we are all serious about our study. I also like that the teachers get to know us so if we have a problem, we know they are there to help. There is a lot of personal interactions here and I enjoy on campus learning more than learning online."
