I am a full time, online student at Everglades University. EU has provided an ease of access to my higher education. The faculty and staff are responsive and seem to be genuinely interested and concerned for student progress by making resources available and providing communication channels. Since I'm exclusively online, it can sometimes feel as though when I have a question, I'm not sure how or who to ask. However, the staff is so wonderful and helpful, reaching out to help with any questions or... Read More concerns. They make things easy to understand and ensure that you comprehend things like your class schedule, financial aid, requirements for courses, and student resources such as the tutoring services that are provided through Black Board. I appreciate everyone here and the things that I've learned from my classes. I'm grateful for the interactions I am able to have in the class discussions with other students, even though I am not physically in a classroom. It enriches the learning experience and allows me to feel more involved.

This school is amazing and I couldn't ask for more friendlier and helpful staff. A few years ago I went through a rough personal time and had to quit school but the faculty worked with me to get me back on track and to help me get reinstated in the program I first started. The professors are very helpful with helping you understand the material if you are struggling and the work and reading is very organized and carefully planned out. I like that the curriculum is paced out to give you time to finish... Read More up assignments and each week of the courses are organized in such a way that you can finish up at the end of each week instead of the middle of the week. This helps the students that work full time all week long.

I have been attending Everglades University for three months, and by far this online experience has been quite a beautiful comprehensive and supportive one in comparison to my first bachelors experience which was on campus. The staff is very cooperative in all senses from the bookstore, counselors to the instructors, their standards are incredibly high and always willing to help out with anything that the students may need. The students have such a great way of interaction through the multiple forums... Read More and are always very respectful of all beliefs. I have learned to appreciate my major which is in a nutshell to bring the mind body and soul to a highest healthy pint one can be in. I had not been able to find a program in Alternative Medicine and I am happy to be a part of this community.

I found the way that this program was set up to be extremely helpful in catering to my success. Being able to focus on one class each month and really gather as much information as possible and then complete that class was so much better for me than taking 4 classes all at once over a semester. In comparison to the midwifery program I did in New Zealand, that also had a large online component, this program through Everglade's allowed for better online learning as well heaps better retainability of information. My experience at Everglades University has been a great one. I started my first semester at the Sarasota campus and was sad to leave there, but the Online platform has been a much better experience than I had expected. I had tried an Online platform before with South University - and it did NOT go well, and left a horrible taste in my mouth towards college in general, especially online classes. I've always been more of a hands-on and auditory learner, but with the Everglades Live feature it makes... Read More it much easier to understand the lectures and interact with the teacher. The down side is that some teachers do not utilize this feature the way they are required to and 'skim' over it, which is very frustrating and makes the learning process inconsistent. I also had some discrepancies with financial services, that is that they are not thorough in explaining loans (an alternative loan in my case) and other option s upfront. I was unable to know the real fine print until after I signed. It was a situation where I would have rather just paid cash out of pocketand the loan made absolutely no sense and should Not have been recommended! At the end of the day, I would still recommend Everglades as a great school to my friends and family. I love that they allow students to express themselves, respectfully, without the fear of backlash.

Attending Everglades University has been a wonderful experience for me. I have learned a lot and have made new friends. I would recommend this University to anyone looking to further their career path in the field of Alternative Medicine, Aviation Management, Construction Management and much more. Everglades University Online gives me the opportunity to still work full time and attend my classes when convenient for my schedule. The professors are approachable when I find myself with questions or struggling with an assignment. The front lines of the school are amazing!
