"During my time at Everglades, I had a series of family crises that arose, and my professors were incredibly supportive. The professors really do care, and while they wanted me to succeed and complete my education, they expressed genuine concern for me as a person and for my wellbeing. I think that’s what stood out and why it is so incredibly rewarding for me to have attended and received my Master’s degree from Everglades University. I began my journey with the University in Fall of 2020 and had been working as a Registered Nurse. While at EU, I took an Epidemiology course (also my favorite course), and I was later surprised with the offer of a new role: Infection Preventionist. This was a new position offered to me during Covid, and due to the material I had learned and retained in the Epidemiology course, I was able to excel in this new position."

"After receiving a degree in Holistic Nutrition, I wanted to learn more about alternative medicine. After researching, I found that not many schools offered it. I found EU, and I was able to transfer credits from my previous education. There were many instructors who have helped to change my life, but I would say most all of them. Dr Appiah and Dr. Vakiaros come to mind first because they have been my instructors in this degree. To help me succeed and overcome obstacles, Dr. Abby has been a huge encouragement and has assisted me very much. Everglades University has also help me overcome my fear of public speaking, which is huge! I am currently working in my field at Seminole Integrative Medicine. It is great for me to be able to work in a field I am passionate about."

"I have gotten over rough moments in life. My time at Everglades University was profitable. I am better educationally, socially and I consider myself knowledgeable in Public Health and research. Everyone treated me well from the Dean, Dr. Stuard, the financial aid department, The Bursers office and of course admissions was there for me all the way. I hope I make you all proud one day! "My experience with Everglades University and staff has been very positive and educational as I earned my degrees. I found my study of the many aspects of Alternative Medicine to be very fascinating and in demand today. The instructors were very knowledgeable and up to date with the latest technology in this rapidly expanding field of study. There were times when life got in the way and staff and instructors were very supportive. The Counselor was very good at helping me to see the possibilities of how I can use my degree and expand to other possibilities. The financial advisor was very helpful in finding funds to continue my education. I would recommend Everglades University for students looking to increase their education."

"Everglades was wonderful! The Instructors were helpful and supportive especially after my son died! With all of my craziness in my life Dr. McPherson was the best! She helped me by encouraging me after the loss of our family member! I’m not sure I would have finished if it were not for the love and concern of students and staff!"

"Having looked for Universities that would allow me the opportunity to work, care, provide, and help me further my education at a graduate level, seemed almost impossible to me. Luckily, I found Everglades University Online. There was nothing short of an onsite campus experience, I had excellent instructors, excellent academic support, and I was involved in workshops that gave me leadership skills, I met new classmates, and felt as involved as I would have been in an onsite campus. the greatest opportunity is that all of this was virtual and I still had all the time I needed to be here for my family and continue to work. I am now a graduate with a Masters Degree and so proud of my accomplishments and promotion that came with earning this degree. Thank you, Everglades University."

"When I met with the recruiter in 2018, she was very easy to speak with and encouraging, she did not rush or bombard me with unnecessary pamphlets but rather just took the time to see where my goals lie and how Everglades University could help an from that point I was sold. I am now graduating with my Masters in Public health. I also had to take a few semesters off due to illness and would you believe the faculty from professor to dean showed support and encourage me with kind and motivating words and helped me to get back on track the minute I started school again. I don't know the words to use to command this university for its professional professors, highly qualified and highly trained and very student oriented admin staff . I would recommend everyone to become a student at Everglades University where Education takes precedence and catering to the success after graduation is key." Stacy-Ann Williams"

"I transferred in general courses from a community college and received my B.S. in Alt. Med. with EU. Then they talked me into pursuing my Master's in Public Health Admin. I really had no complaints about EU until recently and I've been with them since 2014. As soon as I joined the military, my needs changed as did my relationship with the school. I was now in need of a VA Rep. which the school does not offer despite claiming to be military friendly. I don't understand how a school can accept government funds yet have no rep. to assist their military/veteran students in getting these funds applied. In addition, I was cut orders twice (once for training and the 2nd time for deployment) and both times I was forced to withdraw from the school as my leave would exceed their leave of absence time frame. What school doesn't allow active military students to put their degree on hold for a deployment?!!!! I've never even heard of that! I had to pay a 2nd application fee to come back to the school after the first set of orders ended and then they wanted me to do it a 3rd time after my deployment. To top it off, while deployed, I received weekly phone calls from the school asking if I'd like to return to school to finish my degree because I'm merely just a wallet in their eyes and they couldn't be bothered to take notes on my situation to avoid looking stupid after forcing me to leave then asking when I'm coming back. They even sent a generic email to my SCHOOL email advertising the schools programs as if I was just some prospective student that had never attended. I'm now $90k in the hole for a B.S. that I'm not using and a partial Master's in Public Health Admin. that is not CEPH accredited (just found that out). A CEPH accreditation is not mandatory but, you may find yourself struggling to get a job post graduation without it. I'm so frustrated with the school in every way and now I'm going through the transfer process like someone after a bad relationship skeptical of literally every other online MPH program I come across."

"I am a two time graduate of Everglades University. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Complementary and Alternative Medicine in August 2017. I received my Master of Public Health Administration with a concentration in Complementary and Alternative Medicine in December 2019. The professors are very knowledgeable and were very encouraging, supportive, and engaging! The entire staff of Everglades University is well selected! I was able to support my family and receive my degrees through Everglades online learning environment. I am applying the knowledge that I received through Everglades to my professional and personal life with family, friends, colleagues, and social media."

"I started Everglades in January of 2019. I was looking for a program where I could finish my Master's in Public Health Administration within a decent amount of time. I work full time and online classes were much more convenient for me. I was able to complete in in a year going full time. The professors were helpful and it was pretty smooth throughout my time here at Everglades. I would definitely recommend others to go here! The individual attention given to the students helped with the support I needed to be successful!"

"I have earned several degrees with Everglades University. This college is amazing! I love my professors and classmates. Classes are small so I'm able to get that one on one attention from my professors, that makes a huge difference to me as sometimes you need that extra push or guidance to get your assignments completed. I would recommend this college to anyone!"

"Everglades University is perfect for the students regardless of your prior academic background. On Campus and online class sizes typically range from 5-20 students, courses are completed one class at a time (1 class/month) while remaining in a full-time status. I am a single parent, employed full-time (work travel: 10 days/month), and I am completing my Master in Public Health Administration. I have been allowed to switch between on campus classes to online depending on work travel and events. Everglades University, the Staff, and Faculty make it possible to achieve my professional and educational goals without strain on employment or family."

"My experience here at Everglades University has been phenomenal. I was skeptical when I first enrolled (just like many people would be) but since I'm in love with Natural Medicine, I thought I'd give the program a try. On March 18, 2017 I graduated with my Bachelors in Alternative Medicine and now Im currently going for my Master's in Public Health Administration with a Concentration in Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Im looking forward to my next graduation because thats when life really starts. This masters degree is just one of many stepping stones to become a great doctor. With this degree, I want to better myself and heal the lives of others by changing their circumstances in a more positive way. My goal is to become either a Chiropractor, Homeopathic Doctor, Doctor of Oriental Medicine (DOM), or open up my own line of natural products. Everglades University provides a great learning environment. I love how the classes arent too big, it allows for more individualized attention to their students. Since the classes are smaller here, the teachers have more time to focus on each student which has really helped my grades and GPA go up. The teachers and staff are always available to go the extra mile to help students in every way they can. I used to be terrified of public speaking and presenting in front of a group (even a group of 5 people) and I became stronger due to the support from all my fellow colleagues. Just by overcoming that obstacle, I developed self-confidence and made new friends. This university has taught me leadership skills that I can carry on with me throughout the rest of my life. This degree opens up many doors and opportunities, if its something youre really passionate about. For me, I enjoyed every minute of my experience here at Everglades University and its one that I will share with others and never take for granted."
