"Overall I have had wonderful experience with Excelsior. I have been enrolled for a few years and it has been very flexible with my military career. Others have stated that they have had issues with Military TA but I have not had any issues personally. Additionally, instructors and advisors have always been easy for me to get in contact with. I did notice in this last class that the instructor seemed like a robot because he would respond to discussion questions with unrelated topics that didn't apply. Overall, if you have lots of credits from multiple schools and are looking to get your degree knocked out, Excelsior is the place to go."

"I attended Excelsior College at the time since I was a SUNY Broome Community College graduate and it was in the SUNY system. I recommend this college because it is very generous with accreditation. I finished my Bachelor's with just a few classes and opened up more doors for me than I could imagine!"

"They are amazing working with the military. They have clear expectations and are willing to accept CLEP as well as DSST examinations which is a huge help time-wise and financially. They were very clear with communication and that has not stopped as I have progressed into a masters program. I have been been accepted to the University of Oregon as an MBA candidate while also pursuing my MBA at excelsior. The advisors are very helpful ensuring that courses at the University of Oregon match their expectations to complete requirements as long as the student in proactive in communicating with their advisors. The advisors are top notch. They respond quickly and let me know exactly what I need to do in order to meet my goals. They have made higher education accesible to me as active and ex military and have let me manage my time at my will while pursuing higher education. Fantastic experiences for both under grad and grad school (in progress). Would 100% reccomend."

"I know there are some negative comments from other students, but I think it is mainly with the Nursing program, which I cannot provide assessment to. However, being a Business student and graduate from Excelsior, I can tell you it was on par with the state universities I have been enrolled in prior. Having done both traditional classroom and online classes, Excelsior was equally challenging. Student services was better than University of Maryland, University of Missouri Kansas City, and DeVry combined. All my instructors were at a Doctorate level and professors at prestigious universities. Very critical in their grading, but depending on the amount of work you put in, the grades reflected. With the BPS degree I earned, I was accepted into a MBA program at a highly ranked non-profit, private state university. Also, with the course work I endured at Excelsior, I was well prepared for my graduate level courses. I appreciate my instructors immensely! Again, I am one of many experiences at Excelsior, so everybody differs. One more note, I am active military, and the instructors were very understanding and flexible when it came to my deployments."

"I would like to start off by saying that Excelsior College is one of the better colleges I have attended over the years. I know all colleges have their faults but mine were minimal once I got to know and understand how Excelsior works. I had attended both other online schools and traditional colleges but Excelsior seemed to fit how I like to learn the best. For the most part many people who have had a better experience at Excelsior were not in the nursing field. I have heard from other who took nursing courses that the CPNE was hard and in particular if you were a seasoned LPN because they want you to do the CPNE a certain way and as we all know people have a tough time with change! My degree is in Business and Management and I felt like I learned a lot and all that I learned is relevant to my degree. I did know many things already but many of the courses built on one another. I would definitely recommend Excelsior and have to others looking for an online school to attend. I feel once you understand how the classes are run and what is expected many people can and should have success at Excelsior. I would give them an overall 4 stars only because of a few problems I have had but once they were taken care of all was golden."

"I just graduated in April with my Bachelor's of Professional Studies in Business and Management. As a military member the accessibility and ease of doing my degree online was great. The curriculum was challenging but not overwhelming. The professors were helpful and knowledgeable. I see a lot of negative reviews but me personally I had a great experience. I am taking my degree and moving onto my Masters degree through the University of Arkansas. I highly recommend this school."
