"I started my graduate program at FAU since summer 2013. I passed great courses that helped me a lot to understand the required materials. I studied under supervision of expert professors who gave me deep and strong vision toward my research goals. I highly recommend FAU to the future students."

"I really love the experience I had with FAU. I highly recommend this major to students who enjoy being in nature and teach future citizens about environmental appreciation. The program is not as difficult as you may think, and it is a very pleasant learning journey."

"Florida Atlantic University is a wonderful school. The Executive Masters Degree in Business Administration is a tough program. However, with commitment and hard work the results can be second to none. I feel by the time I complete this program, I will be prepared for a great future career."

"Good school with engaged professors. Excellent Semester by the Sea program for marine biology. Tuition differential for out of state students is pretty ridiculous ($770 vs $174), but you can't study sharks in Iowa, sooo.....Housing is great...also expensive, but very modern, safe and full of "Florida" amenities: sand volleyball courts on front lawns, outdoor swimming pools at several dorms. A great distraction when too much studying is required. Overall, I'd recommend FAU."

"FAU is a very nice campus very close to the beach with beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The professors are mostly good at teaching, many are world renown scientists. I was in the biology program, focusing on marine biology. FAU has an outstanding marine science program and faculty. The only downfall is that the program takes place an hour and a half north of the main campus. So be prepared to commute or move!"

"Florida Atlantic University ranked #1 in terms of performance in the state of Florida, tied with the University of Central Florida, in 2016. Two years prior, FAU was ranked as one of the lowest performing schools in the state. In just two years, they were able improve on a variety of factors including graduation rates and job placement. I was able to witness this transformation. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Marketing from FAU in 2016 and am now pursing my MBA. My experience in the College of Business has helped me develop a well rounded education that will contribute to many job opportunities in the future. The professors who teach in this college are passionate about their courses and are able to create unique learning experiences for students. I was fortunate enough to have great relationships with many of professors throughout my college experience because they are dedicated and truly care about helping their students succeed. There are also many business organizations on campus that students can join to encourage them to become more involved in their education. The career center has drastically improved over the past years and is always partnering with companies to help provide internships and job opportunities to students. Due to my success and experience as an undergrad, I am now fortunate enough to be continuing my education at FAU to achieve my Master's in Business Administration."

"Florida Atlantic University is a university with several campus's which try to serve over 30,000 students each year. Explaining how and what to expect and the costs of education were not done very well however, once a student they did accommodate distance students on a satellite campus s to reduce travel. The education was of high quality and the information learned allowed me to enter my field of study early and begin earning. I am intending to apply for the masters degree of social work at an advanced standing which is offered for students who qualify *GPA 3.5+) and reduces the time and cost to just one year, full time. They see the need for clinical social workers and have created curriculum that provides education and internship support. Other students I know in other areas of study also compliment the service of this university."

"I was a dual major in college, and when I compare the quality of the two colleges I belonged to, I would choose the English department hands down. They have a variety of professors, but more times than not you'll find one or two professors you'll stick too, especially they teach your required courses. The psychology department is problematic, though classes are sometimes large and you'll probably be taught by a teaching assistant, that's fine and expected. The problem is when the majority of the courses are taught by teaching assistants. Professors of the behavioral department were a rare sight, I suppose this was because they were focused more on their experiments. I never had the chance to connect with my psychology professors the way I connected with my English professors."

"The online RN- BSN program at Florida Atlantic University was a wonderful fit with my life. The program was available at my convenience from anywhere. The class outlines were well written and listed a timeline of what to expect and when assignments were due. Online weekly class discussions assisted with learning as well as online group projects. There was as much or as little guidance available as needed and full access to the instructors. The entire program was a wonderful experience."

"For those looking at my review, it would be understandable if there is some confusion, as I selected that I am not satisfied with the impact of my education but I recommend the school. Florida Atlantic University is a great school, just not for my career path. I did not learn the skills necessary for directing: it was more so theory based than practice. The courses that I was enrolled in taught me about the history of film, not necessarily how to create one. In terms of diversity, I can surely say that it was: students of many backgrounds attend the university, which I admire because I love to be surrounded by people of all colors. It is definitely a commuter school, however. When I used to live on campus, I would travel back home on the weekends because the campus would be dead. It is definitely beneficial to have a form of transportation, such as a car, because it can be difficult traveling off of campus. I found career advising to be useful. The job database was updated consistently and the advisors were very helpful and available if anyone were to need assistance picking a career or cleaning up their resumes or cover letters. Campus safety is also good. There is a service called "Night Owls," which picks up students once it begins to get dark outside and takes them to their apartments, cars, or classes. As I've said, I do recommend this school for those who are interested. But my word of advice would be to make sure the career you're going for has an excellent program there. Check the ratings, take a tour, do whatever it is that you need to do before you make a final decision."

"The program that I am currently attending is the Biomedical Science Master's Program at FAU. Class sizes are very small so it is easier to get to know your professors and your peers. What I like about this program is that my professors want you to focus on your confidence and public speaking skills. Almost every class requires you to present on a certain topic related to your curriculum. It is nerve wracking but the professors are pretty understanding and give you constructive criticism as to how to do better next time. Also, there are research seminars every semester to keep students updated on promising research and advancements in the field. I would recommend this program to anyone who is interested because I think it can prepare you for the field."

"In my opinion, Florida Atlantic University has to be one of the most underrated schools in the state. While its name may not hold the same weight as Florida State or University of Florida, the quality of the courses and professors is second to none. I learned so much from this school not only in my classes, but in the opportunities I had all over campus. First, I was a part of the Greek community, where I met some of my closest and best friends that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Second, I had the chance to be a part of the Diplomacy Program, which meant that I was able to travel to New York City and compete in the prestigious Model United Nations competition. These opportunities were just some of the ways I was able to learn and grow not only as a student, but also as a person at FAU. I will forever be thankful for this school and am thrilled to now be pursuing my masters here!"

"The cognitive neuroscience department one of the best department in this regards among the other universities in the nation. The strength of the department of visual perception is the biggest advantage among the other branches of cognitive neuroscience. This is the potential school to train the graduate students to the same standard as the other good schools teach. I would recommend others to choose this school as their potential graduate school."

"My name is N.F. and Im a candidate for a dual degree program offered at Florida Atlantic University through the College of Social Inquiry known as the Barch Murp Program. This program offers a Bachelor Degree in Architecture and a Masters Degree in Urban & Regional Planning. Even though, the program overlaps its treated separate as each candidates for the program has to complete and graduate from the Architecture program first before they can apply to the Masters of Urban & Regional Planning program. I graduated from the Architecture program on August 9, 2016 and is expected to graduate from the Masters of Urban & Regional Planning program in May of 2017. Florida Atlantic University has provided me with tremendous opportunities for success. One opportunity that makes learning extremely exciting to me is the complete access to the twenty four hour computer lab on the Fort Lauderdale campus. Just the thought of knowing that only FAU students have twenty four hour access to the building with security guards and the latest computer software in the lab, makes me feel I can achieve anything. The curriculum is extremely rigorous but the University gives us training wheels to succeed. Each student has an Academic Adviser who is very accessible at all times who guides us with our educational plan, which keeps us on track so we can graduate in a timely manner. They are like our continuous tour guide in a strange place. With their guidance all are welcome. The Professors are very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. They make themselves accessible to each student who needs extra help. The university allows us to envision success through their many workshops, labs; library and my favorite, mini stress relieve parties with free food. Florida Atlantic University has its own unique, melting pot of students living and working together to achieve one common goal, success."
