"My time at Florida International University was pretty amazing because of the open atmosphere around campus. I joined National Honor Society in which help me work on team building and keeping my focus to one goal at a time. I also joined FCSA which means Florida Caribbean Student Association that expose to me different peoples backgrounds of the Caribbean, and get a chance to explorer my Bahamian side of my roots that was pretty exciting to experience. I have met a lot of interesting people that Im probably will be friends for a very long time. I learn more about myself then I ever did in my whole entire life being at FIU. One thing I can really take away from the school is that they are one of the most helpful universities I have ever come across. The staff, professors, and peers that you come across will make you want to continue on striving for the best. I studied international business and management for my undergrad and I learned so much within my program as well as other people who I meant around campus programs as well. Im looking forward to be going into my Masters program with FIU and I appreciate all the help that was provided to keep me going to my goals. My advice for any up and coming Florida International University students it is don't be afraid to ask a question because that question probably will get you to where you need to be. Thank you!"

"As the joke that FIU used to be, the school everyone went to after all the other FL schools denied your application, FIU has made strides. This school has various programs ranked in the top 10 nationally and keeps getting better. Took a mix of online classes and on campus classes. This is a good school to attend. Yes, everyone has issues with finding people to talk to, but this is anywhere. I never spent "Days" or "hours" looking for an answer. Usually an email to the correct person would cover it. Online is a little bot of a headache, because of the software; Blackboard and Canvas. However between the two, they cover almost all the online and colleges and universities, so you cant fault FIU. Great School. Good Location."

"Florida international university is a very well organized and well run university. The curriculum are straight forward and they have professors that not only master the contents of the curriculum but also bring their extensive real life experience to the table. The class rooms are very interactive and professors are usually open to questions."

"Amazing school, great atmosphere and campus. Teachers need to be picked carefully but there are some great teachers there if you choose wisely."

"If you are looking to enter the field of International Relations (IR)/Foreign Policy/Diplomacy/International Business, there is no better university than Florida International University (FIU). The quality of the instruction cannot be beat; the professors are culled from the best working professionals in the field - Ronald Cox (phenomenal instructor and author), José Cruz (in-depth real-life experience working in Latin America), and Marcie Washington (conflict and refugee expert) are just a few of the professors that join Florida Senator Marco Rubio at FIU to provide a world-class education to the many students studying IR there. Possibly most notable is Nicholas Onuf, the father of Constructivism Theory, and a former professor at FIU. I also received my minor in Economics and, again, the instruction was unmatched - thankfully, there is no economic theory or law that Joel Carton cannot succinctly explain. There is a ton of school spirit at FIU, and the campus itself is GORGEOUS and has everything that a student could possibly wish for - modern, state of the art facilities; free wifi; free concerts with top musical and comedic talent; numerous school sports teams and fraternities/sororities; plenty of well-known restaurants and coffee shops; and a fully-equipped, modern gym (membership included in tuition). The campus is centrally located in a beautiful, safe middle-class Miami neighborhood and close to all major highways, three major malls, with a supermarket, gas station, and commercial strip mall right across the street from school. All in all FIU provides a top-shelf education close to home. I am grateful for the quality of instruction I received there and for the care and attention I received from my instructors and the administration; I am proud to call FIU my alma mater!"
