Decent School, I think they can work on the overall school diversity and making students feel as though they are welcome better.

The pros are great value, many opportunities for internships in Miami, and very helpful faculty and staff who are willing to go out of their way to help. The con is a small network of attorneys since the school is still fairly young, having graduated its 10th class last year.

FIU Law is a great law school. Although it is a rather new institution compared to most law schools, the faculty, career office and the overall administration has made it a great environment for learning. My favorite part about FIU Law that sold me when I was considering what law school to attend was the small class size. My graduate program has helped build a strong foundation and understanding of the legal system and as I continue to pursue this program, I realize how lucky I am to be a part of it. My professors are very knowledgeable and they are ready to share this wealth with their students. As a new law school, FIU still has to establish a great reputation in the legal community. However, with the hard work that the students and staff are putting in, FIU will be able to earn an amazing reputation.

In my opinion, the program overall is very well structured and it has the ability to effectively prepare law students for their professional careers. The available clinics and other programs, the diversity and prominence of the Faculty, the networking and practice opportunities allow students with different academic and professional aspirations to pursue their goals and make the best out of the law school experience. Furthermore, the Administration has created an innovative and highly functional... Read More

The pros of going to FIU Law is that it is affordable and its slowly establishing a reputation. Also, the school is very new and the building is so modern and well taken care of. The ratio of students to professors is very good and professors are able to focus their attention on their students. The cons are that this school is so new that it has not fully created a concrete reputation, therefore, when looking for a job after graduating, it might be harder than if the person is coming from another...
