At FIU with its two diverse campuses you can be sure to find where you fit it. With the help of professors and advisors that will assist you in your journey. Every single person I have come across (at either campus) has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable in their field. This provides you with a sense of comfort that those that are teaching you, know what they are teaching. I can now go into my chosen career field confidently, knowing I received my education from FIU.
It is a program with great staff and great classmates. Sometimes it got a little overwhelming. The professors may look intimidating but they are always willing to help. The campus is a beautiful campus with a lot to do. However I wish there were more career fairs and job assistance for my major.
An institution that really incorporates the diversity of this nation and allows for students to express themselves and gain a well rounded and intelligent perspective in the world. Florida International University provides student with the necessary tools to succeed and take full advantage of their education and degrees for their future professional careers.
The Hospitality program at FIU is great. This program really helped to shape me as a professional and as a person. The hands on experiences during my fours years were amazing. From cooking in a kitchen to serve real guests to working for the South Beach Wine and Food festival every year. Get ready to dedicate your time but it is really worth it.
FIU is a great institution, the teachers are amazing, the campus is beautiful, and the education is very affordable. It is a public school, there are lots of students enrolled and you really have to focus and be on top of your degree so you don't fall through the cracks, there is no babysitting there. However you take the good with the bad, the prices are more affordable than any other Universities in the area. If you do take out student loans you won't be drowning in them after you graduate. My particular degree wasn't geared towards a specific field so it's been more difficult for me to network and find the earning potential in it. However I'm a proud alumni and always will be. My degree has given me an opportunity to go into teaching which I love has become a passion for me. I chose a different school for graduate school simply because of convenience however I would attend FIU again in the future.
I had a great experience attending FIU. The professors from the School of Education are very helpful and appreciate your hard work. Everything I know and do now in my career I thank to all those professors and staff that impacted my learning and made me the professional that I'm today.
FIU was a great university that prepared me for most of the things I would face in the education field. The professors and mentors were very informative and inspiring. Although I was given tips on starting my career, it ultimately was up to me to put myself out there and get recognized for my qualities and attributes. Don't expect to just be handed a job as soon as you graduate. You do have to work for it. But in the end, when you do find where you belong, you will use all of your experiences at FIU to be the best educator you can be.

Florida International University's Health Services Administration program offers a bachelor's degree that is by far one of the most diverse and competent in the school field. I am privileged to have studied at Florida International University and know that my career is guaranteed to only be more successful.
Wish there were more online courses available so disabled students like me could complete the courses required more easily
