Degree: Information Technology

I used to love this school and most of my professors have been great. However the last year and a half since I have returned it has really gone downhill. Financial aid keeps messing up and so I missed half a semester of classes and lost half my grant for not being full time because only 2 classes I needed were offered C8 session. This semester my disbursement was delayed a month because they had to hand calculate it and I was getting bills in the mail. The dean won't do anything about a professor... Read More

Honestly this school looks good on the outside due to its low cost to attend. The problem, is getting into school as the counselors do not care and barely do their job while giving you a run around regardless how early you start looking into a semester. To obtain my degree I was consistently told to do one thing and then do another. The branch at the Navy base could care less of what I was trying to do and were there to get a paycheck. I received my A.S. and took the first opportunity to find a new... Read More

Degree: Nursing

I love FSCJ don't get me wrong. But the advisors had me taking classes that I didn't have to take for the Nursing program. I ended up takin my sciences last (Microbo, Anatomy 1 &2, Chemistry, Nutrition) I passed all except Microbio. The first time I had withdraw and the second time I made an 68.7 but my Professor  wouldn't round my grade to an C. So I had to appeal which I did not win (of course their gonna take up for their own) so now i'm stuck having to take it a 3rd time and now I have to pay... Read More

Degree: Dental Assistant

Financial aid will give you a migraine. Be prepared to come out of pocket to pay for classes just incase fscj takes to long to distribute grants or loans. Other than that Fscj is a good school, the teachers are amazing, and everybody is helpful! If you didn't understand a certain subject the teacher will work with you. Externship are great we get to work in general or speciality practices. This program is accredited with the Dental Association.

Degree: Nursing

The program was great although demanding but changes were made constantly throughout the program which I thought was unfair. I say this because ypu go into the program with certain criteria and I feel that should be held up throughout. Changes should affect new students coming in not ones that are currently in. The instructors for the most part were great. Very helpful. The financial department needs work and is improving. Overall my good outweighed my bad and I would seek another degree

I have not been at the college very long, However for the semesters that I have been here, I have enjoyed the learning experience, and every professor I have had, except one has been great. I would recommend this school. I believe you will be very much satisfied.

I think overall FSCJ is an great school. This is my first real semester there and have nothing but good thing to say. The transition as new student was very smooth and made me feel at ease with the college/

Degree: Accounting

The college is good because it has a wide variety class options for all people. If you have to go to class or take them online the options are available. It is hard to get things taken care of though. Never try to call to take care of something because they never answer the phone at student services. It is as if people assume you know what you are doing. If I had not followed through on at least three occasions I would not have submitted all information needed for my financial aid. Each time I was... Read More

I have had an excellent experience here at fscj! I have been mainly taking online courses because of my work schedule. My best experience has been with my enc 1101. My instructor S N was an excellent communicator with her reviews suggestions etc. She was always prompt with her responses to my questions.
