"Florida State University is an exceptionally wonderful university where possibilities are endless. Florida State University is best known for its vast amount of research opportunities and offers extracurricular activities and volunteering efforts for students to become more involved with the Florida State community- this also serves beneficial when looking into attending graduate school. Many degree programs are offered at this institution and the skills learned in the classroom will prepare any individual for the career path of their choosing. At Florida State University, professors make sure to put great efforts into their lectures and accommodate students for office hours when additional help is needed. The 'Biological Sciences' degree program was phenomenal and as you begin to dive into more specialized courses, it becomes apparent that the professors are truly passionate about their career and are willing to assist students in beginning, advancing, and building a desired career path of their own."

"Throughout my undergraduate career, I experienced a variety of activities. I was adequately offered extracurricular and volunteer activities that would be fundamental to getting into graduate school. The programs and the experiences FSU has to offer was by far my favorite aspect of FSU. Sometimes the instructors lacked and were too focused on their individual research to be involved with students, answer emails, or provide adequate instruction during class. Many of the instructors did not seem loyal to FSU in my original program, Chemistry, which was why I had to switch majors. Although I had a few phenomenal instructors, who were passionate about their courses and were thoroughly involved with students' careers, many of them were outside of my major. I also experienced many problems with the financial office that had high turnover rates and inexperienced employees. As I aforementioned, the plethora of programs and student activities FSU offers are not to be missed. I was able to lead groups of students on volunteer outings for two years, get essential research and research leadership experience, and had a phenomenal study abroad experience. Florida State allows students many more opportunities for students to become involved, especially with research, than other universities. I advise that when you tour or look into FSU that you research and talk to professors in your individual department so you can see how your department is ran and organized."

"FSU is a great school and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to attend. The degree program, Exercise Physiology, is a very broad program that lets you go into any health related field later on. The classes are mostly science based courses such as chemistry, physics, biology, anatomy, and metabolism. There are opportunities for career fairs, networking events, organizations, and clubs; however, it is up to you to get involved."

"Florida State University was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The education I received from Florida State allowed me to continue the career that I had only dreamed of. I was very hesitant in leaving my family and living in Tallahassee but the second I got there I was sure I made the right decision. As a freshman it was very easy to meet new people and to get around campus. I didn't know what career I wanted to pursue and I changed my mind a bunch of times as a freshman, but the advisors always made sure I was on track to graduate within four years. The campus is absolutely beautiful with a little bit of a Harry Potter feel. The dorms are new and very close to campus as well as the off campus restaurants and activities. Theres a lot to do in Tallahassee over the weekends as well. The environment of the university was very welcoming. As my undergraduate years went on I began to be very interested in the medical field. FSU has a very good medical school and very good pre-health advisors to assist you in your post graduation plans. The biology and chemistry department are very technologically advanced and give a lot of hands on research opportunities. Theres also is a vast majority of clubs for everyone to get involved in. They range from social to educational and you will find at least 3 to fit into. The study abroad programs are available in countries all over the world and if they aren't in the country of your desire you can always do a work study where you please. The instructors always were there to help regardless of how difficult the class was. The financial aid at this school was very excellent and provided money for almost everyone who needed assistance to attend by offering grands and many scholarships. This campus is a chance for opportunity and growth. If I could do these 4 years over again I would."

"There is no question that FSU has some of the brightest minds teaching in the field of exercise physiology. As I moved forward in my academic career I continually found myself referring back in information and topics that were first introduced to me in FSU College of Human Sciences. I owe my core knowledge and working skill set to the professors at this institution."

"Attending Florida State University was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The school is very well rounded as far as having great academics, sports, and campus life. I learned a lot during my time in school and have been deemed over-qualified in many job interviews. There are activities and clubs on campus for every person and there is so much room to be great at Florida State. I didn't want my time to end but I left school with everything I needed to be prepared for the next stages of my life!"

"I will finish my Bachelor's degree in December 2017. I plan on staying for my master's degree as well as my PHD. I love this school. I will graduate in exercise physiology and nutrition. I would like to either work with athletes or go into research. I am still leaving this last decision open."
