"Florida State University was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The education I received from Florida State allowed me to continue the career that I had only dreamed of. I was very hesitant in leaving my family and living in Tallahassee but the second I got there I was sure I made the right decision. As a freshman it was very easy to meet new people and to get around campus. I didn't know what career I wanted to pursue and I changed my mind a bunch of times as a freshman, but the advisors always made sure I was on track to graduate within four years. The campus is absolutely beautiful with a little bit of a Harry Potter feel. The dorms are new and very close to campus as well as the off campus restaurants and activities. Theres a lot to do in Tallahassee over the weekends as well. The environment of the university was very welcoming. As my undergraduate years went on I began to be very interested in the medical field. FSU has a very good medical school and very good pre-health advisors to assist you in your post graduation plans. The biology and chemistry department are very technologically advanced and give a lot of hands on research opportunities. Theres also is a vast majority of clubs for everyone to get involved in. They range from social to educational and you will find at least 3 to fit into. The study abroad programs are available in countries all over the world and if they aren't in the country of your desire you can always do a work study where you please.The instructors always were there to help regardless of how difficult the class was. The financial aid at this school was very excellent and provided money for almost everyone who needed assistance to attend by offering grands and many scholarships. This campus is a chance for opportunity and growth. If I could do these 4 years over again I would."

"Florida State University isn't perfect. It never claimed to be. Sometimes you will have a bad professor, and even in the names of the building you will come across history some feel is better forgotten, and others know should be seen as a reminder. But, it more than makes up for these deficiencies with professors who care. That will go the extra mile to help you succeed. With a student body that challenges the status quo and is always striving to make sure that our campus does better. FSU isn't just a school, it is a community, one that you don't want to miss out on being a part of."

"College is a business first. No university or college will give you the golden ticket to a great job. It is YOUR responsibility to best increase your chances at getting a career and working to better your level of professionalism. Florida State University is a great school, don't get me wrong. There are many great higher learning institutions but you as an individual have to put in the time and the effort to make yourself more desirable in the market."

"The Interior Architecture and Design program at Florida State University is among the best of the best. I had an incredible experience in this program and wouldn't trade it for the world. We have an amazing network of highly respected faculty who are passionate about what they are teaching and always willing to lend a hand. I believe this is why our program is so successful. This is not an easy program and students have to be fully committed to their projects and responsibilities to be successful in this field of study. As a cohort we spend countless hours together in the studio classrooms working late hours to complete projects that meet our standards. Even after the long hours spent together, any free time is still spent with each other celebrating our achievements. Overall this program sets you up for the professional world and has left a lasting impact on who I am as a designer."

"Although I attended Florida State University several years ago, I continue to visit campus when I travel home to see my parents, who live in Tallahassee. Over the years, the campus has become more impressive as it has been updated with technology-enhanced classrooms, campus improvements, including new and updated dorms, and an amazing student athletic complex. These improvements extend beyond the campus into the surrounding area, which has improved student safety both on and off campus. When I lived on campus, I was involved not only in university activities but also community service. Many students value volunteerism and contributing to the community. This was a great way to meet new people and make friends. It goes without saying that football is huge at FSU and going to games are events not to be missed! For people who arent football enthusiasts, there are plenty of other social activities from student lead musicals and theater productions to a robust Greek life. The education I received at FSU was top notch, having been led by professors who are experts in their field. Although the undergraduate classes tend to be large, through the support of advisors, teaching assistants and professors, students never feel lost in the crowd. The College of Arts and Sciences is the oldest and largest college within the university, however, the list of majors from which to choose is diverse, including those in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. I was a psychology major and have used my degree throughout my various careers. Im grateful for the well-rounded education I received and the life-long friendships I made during my college experience."

"Florida State University...I believe the name speaks for itself. This institution is of the utmost quality, and my four years there will forever be regarded as some of the best in my lifetime. From the atmosphere on and around campus, to the experienced and kind professors, to the diversity of peers to interact with on a daily basis, this university has it all. If youre looking for a large university setting with great sports programs, as well as the feel of a close community, Florida State is a good fit. Although it is quite a large school, the campus is compact and it is easy to get involved and find your niche. Everyone connects with their passion for the Seminoles, and the atmosphere is always indescribable. I learned more than I could have imagined during my time there."

"Florida State University provided a great college experience! I was encouraged to grow and succeed during my time there. FSU is a large school and can sometimes seem overwhelming, which is why it is important for new students to get involved in however they see fit. For a large amount this is getting involved in clubs and organizations. While I believe that is important, new students should take their time and seek help at the counseling center and career center, two often overlooked resources. The college of social work was amazing and I grew into a more informed and compassionate person just from taking classes for two years."

"Go Noles! Not only does FSU provide an easy study environment from multiple libraries to clubs to greek life to honor societies that make the community smaller, it also allows opportunities for extreme growth in any area you wish to pursue. For example, I was involved in a club called Medlife that FSU offers, through this club I was able to go on two mission trips that nurtured my passion to become a healthcare professional. With the assistance of my college advisors I was able to alter my school schedule to best fit my day to day life and also be efficient in getting all my credits covered. If going on the Pre-PA path, FSU offers resources such as the Pre-PA club that help guide you through the process. By attending the Pre-PA club I was able to set up an internship after I graduated which aided me to obtain all the hours necessary to be a competitive applicant for PA school. Every major and interest has the potential to flourish through FSU. By being proactive and getting involved with the resources FSU has to offer, you will no doubt excel in your studies and future career."

"I attended FSU for my undergrad majoring in engineering. The school provides lots of resources for the students; job fairs, printing services, computer labs equipped with common engineering programs. It is a little difficult in the first years of study to have the engineering campus separate from main campus and have to travel between the two. However, once you get into all engineering courses it is nice to have a separate campus, parking is easier and your surrounded by like minded individuals. Like any school some of the professors are hit or miss but there are definitely some gems that know how to teach and care about their students."

"Great university with a broad option of careers and degrees to pursue both at an undergraduate and graduate level. Academics and athletics are both outstanding, and there are many opportunities to join clubs and organizations that are of interest to you."

"There is no question that FSU has some of the brightest minds teaching in the field of exercise physiology. As I moved forward in my academic career I continually found myself referring back in information and topics that were first introduced to me in FSU College of Human Sciences. I owe my core knowledge and working skill set to the professors at this institution."

"Florida State is a fun college with a lot of school pride. Sports are a big part of the fun. The professors are helpful and knowledgeable and as a masters and PhD student, I am able to teach classes and earn a stipend."

"I have mixed feelings about this program. PROS: Several classes offered every semester; planner-in-residence; ample opportunities to make professional connections; funding opportunities (but only for first year students); beautiful campus, and a lot of resources. CONS: The program is geared toward traditional students (e.g. a lot of rich kids without life experience), hardly any online classes, students and professors get very clique-y and also aren't sensitive toward students with disabilities or from disadvantaged backgrounds."

"Since I was a little girl, I had always dreamed about attending Saint Mary's College in South Bend, IN. After being accepted and starting school in the fall of 2013, I realized I had made a huge mistake. I decided to transfer to Florida State University after my freshman year of college. I was extremely nervous going from a school with about 1,400 people to a school with over 30,000 people. However, I could not be more thankful for that unique experience at such a large institution. FSU's campus is simply breathtaking and there are so many opportunities in which to get involved, whether that may be through extracurricular activities on campus or local internships around Tallahassee. I was able to partake in Greek Life where I met other girls with the same interests as me. I also tutored in the Reading and Writing Center and was a content editor for Her Campus FSU--an online publication for college women. In addition, FSU offers so many wonderful professors who are enthusiastic about the material they are teaching. I majored in Editing, Writing, & Media--a program I simply adored, along with the majority of my professors (in fact, one of my professors helped me greatly with editing applications to various law schools and wrote me a letter of recommendation). Due to the fact that my major did not require as many courses as other majors, I was able to complete two minors (one in General Business and another in Communications) along with a Graduate Certificate in Publishing and Editing--and I still graduated on time! I would have never had those same opportunities at my previous college. Overall, FSU became a second home to me and I am forever thankful for the education and experiences the school gave me. I highly recommend giving Florida State a chance if you are considering applying. You will not regret it!"
