I loved Florida State University. The campus allowed me to experience an incredibly new environment with diverse populations that I had no experienced prior to. Additionally, the College of Social Work at the university was like a second home to me where I was able to learn how to be a better humanitarian, person, and future social worker.
Florida State University expanded my outlook on how college prepares you for the real world. The staff and administration were top notch when it came to meeting the needs of the students and providing the best possible resources to allow them to expand their learning.
I will finish my Bachelor's degree in December 2017. I plan on staying for my master's degree as well as my PHD. I love this school. I will graduate in exercise physiology and nutrition. I would like to either work with athletes or go into research. I am still leaving this last decision open.
Florida State University gave me the tools to succeed in life both inside and outside of the classroom. Florida State University inspired me to excel during my undergraduate career and enabled me to love learning. Florida State University is the sole reason as to why I am continuing my education and going to pursue a graduate degree.
Florida State University provided me with an exceptional education grounded in real world issues. The professors and staff are friendly and caring, and although it is a very large university, you receive individualized education. FSU has a beautiful campus with traditional Floridians flora and fauna, and they commit to keeping their campus environmentally sustainable and green for students of future generations to enjoy. The campus community at FSU is vibrant, passionate, and kind; you will always feel at home here.
Attending Florida State University was one of the best decisions I've made. It was a great environment to learn and there were tons of opportunities to get involved in activities/clubs both throughout the psychology department and the University. All of the professors were supportive and willing to help during office hours. One of the best learning experiences I had while at Florida State was getting involved in research labs. In fact, I loved it so much that I decided to stick around after graduation to work in a lab and gain more experience before grad school. Florida State University will always have my heart and soul. You can't find this kind of community anywhere else!
FSU PC has the best education program around. It's not easy...in fact it's tough. If you walk away with a degree, though, you know for a fact that you are prepared for the classroom. The teachers know the content inside and out, and the campus staff are helpful in all areas.
Florida State University is great school to get an education. The professors cared and the faculty was very involved in all areas of the academic processes. What I loved most about the school was the sense of community the students shared. You were able to connect and bond very easily amongst your peers. There was a lot of extra curricular activities and events that allowed you to network and affiliate yourself with others.
The Undergrad program is small but the professors are great and incredibly helpful. I learned so much and was inspired to pursue an alternative career path based on the diverse classes we were offered. I 100% recommend this program and Florida State in general.
I was a student at Florida State University for 4.5 years. I knew I loved the school, the people, and the entire city of Tallahassee as a whole, but I don't think I really knew how much until I left Tallahassee and moved back home to Miami. See, every small part of Florida State University plays a huge role in your life. The school in and of itself is one of the most magnificent places I've ever been. From the brick buildings to the big oak trees, the hills, etc. the school is beyond aesthetically pleasing. The school offers so many classes and really takes a pride in making sure that their students are not only receiving the best level of education possible, but happy while doing it. Every Wednesday there is "Market Wednesday" in the schools union where students, faculty, and guests can shop, watch live performances, and eat lunch outside. The football games would leave anyone speechless. From the football players themselves to the wonderful Marching Chiefs (the band), the entire sight is completely memorizing. The people at FSU are incredible, to say the least. Your professors, well all of the faculty really, do their absolute best to aide you in anything you need no matter the time or effort it takes them. The locals own, operate, and pour their hears into their business and the businesses of others. They tailgate every single game day because they love the Seminoles the same way as the students do, if not more. The students, the ones who became friends and even the ones who didn't, are on the same path intellectually and morally as each other student beside them. The city of Tallahassee all in all is a place that welcomes all people. It is a city filled with southern charm, kind and conscientious people, and an entire population that bleeds the same colors, Garnet and Gold.
