"FSU PC has the best education program around. It's not easy...in fact it's tough. If you walk away with a degree, though, you know for a fact that you are prepared for the classroom. The teachers know the content inside and out, and the campus staff are helpful in all areas."

"Florida State University is great school to get an education. The professors cared and the faculty was very involved in all areas of the academic processes. What I loved most about the school was the sense of community the students shared. You were able to connect and bond very easily amongst your peers. There was a lot of extra curricular activities and events that allowed you to network and affiliate yourself with others."

"The Undergrad program is small but the professors are great and incredibly helpful. I learned so much and was inspired to pursue an alternative career path based on the diverse classes we were offered. I 100% recommend this program and Florida State in general."

"I was a student at Florida State University for 4.5 years. I knew I loved the school, the people, and the entire city of Tallahassee as a whole, but I don't think I really knew how much until I left Tallahassee and moved back home to Miami. See, every small part of Florida State University plays a huge role in your life. The school in and of itself is one of the most magnificent places I've ever been. From the brick buildings to the big oak trees, the hills, etc. the school is beyond aesthetically pleasing. The school offers so many classes and really takes a pride in making sure that their students are not only receiving the best level of education possible, but happy while doing it. Every Wednesday there is "Market Wednesday" in the schools union where students, faculty, and guests can shop, watch live performances, and eat lunch outside. The football games would leave anyone speechless. From the football players themselves to the wonderful Marching Chiefs (the band), the entire sight is completely memorizing. The people at FSU are incredible, to say the least. Your professors, well all of the faculty really, do their absolute best to aide you in anything you need no matter the time or effort it takes them. The locals own, operate, and pour their hears into their business and the businesses of others. They tailgate every single game day because they love the Seminoles the same way as the students do, if not more. The students, the ones who became friends and even the ones who didn't, are on the same path intellectually and morally as each other student beside them. The city of Tallahassee all in all is a place that welcomes all people. It is a city filled with southern charm, kind and conscientious people, and an entire population that bleeds the same colors, Garnet and Gold."

"A good program with a great teaching staff. The classes are organized well with both student and faculty given opportunities to grow. The admissions and front office staff are incredible friendly and helpful. The facility is nice, if not a little dirty at time. Love the sports and clubs on campus."

"I graduated in the fall of 2016, with my major in Editing, Writing, and Media. I will say that the instructors I had during my time were excellent. They cared for their students and were willing to extend any help in order to achieve individual success. Overall, the courses for my major were pretty vague and often the descriptions were misleading of the actual nature of the course. While I love writing, I believe the EWM track at FSU is better as a secondary major (even minor) rather than a primary. The requirements are very short, and the courses you can choose from are somewhat limiting, and often times the ones that seemed most intriguing were never offered or always filled due to such limited availability. If i were to give any advice, it's to look into the communication's programs because they often incorporate similar content to EWM, expect much more applicable to future career opportunities!"

"The Russian program at Florida State University is academically a great program. The study abroad is also a wonderful learning experience. There are some downsides because the department is quite small, which means there are few students and few faculty. Very little networking opportunities are available as a result and the faculty are always busy due to the teaching and research load . Not great for advising or one to one academic/career direction."

"My four years at Florida State University were absolutely amazing. I studied, made lasting friendships, joined different organizations around campus, got involved with research, went to football games, and challenged myself to become the best person I can become. I hope, with this review, future Noles can get a sense of what it feels like to be a student at Florida State University. Education: Being an Exercise Science major definitely limited my free time. With that being said, however, I still managed to have time to join a sorority, go out with friends, get involved in homecoming events, and have me time. My biggest advice is to learn how to schedule your time wisely. Florida State has a lot to offer but always remember to put your education first. There are times where you need to say no to plans, and no, it is not the end of the world. It is so easy to drop your GPA yet so hard to bring it back up. Stay focused on your goals. You will find that some of your classes will consist of 500 students, so take charge of your education. TAs and/or professors are always available in office hours and there are numerous resources around campus to enable you to succeed. If you do not put the effort to improve your grades, then your grades will not improve. There are multiple study spots and coffee shops on campus. Find your study spot and be productive! I also encourage you to establish professional relationships with your TAs and professors. You never know when you need that letter of recommendation for graduate school. For example, I went to office hours and managed to earn a spot in a research position (great resume builder). For those of you who need career advice or help finding internships, there is a building dedicated to helping students find the right career for them. Additionally, each College has advisors who will tell you which classes you should take and how you can stay on track with your major. I went to my advisor every semester and it was extremely helpful. Extracurriculars: I encourage you to join organizations that help you grow and challenge yourself as a person. You never know what opportunities await you if you just stay in your dorm or apartment. Make connections with people. I joined a sorority and made so many friends that I still hangout with two years post grad. Additionally, I found friends in the sorority who were also pre-med. We pulled all-nighters and helped each other out with assignments. With that being said, greek organizations are not for everyone. There are numerous clubs and groups you can still join to find your group of friends. Please research on the University website and try something new! I was able to participate in intermediate soccer with a group of friends. I was also an actress in a homecoming skit one year. If you like to volunteer, there are multiple events around campus, like Dance Marathon, that are open to the student body. I challenge you to become a well-rounded student because nothing is impossible at FSU. Overall, college is really what you make of it. Florida State University undoubtedly gives you many resources and opportunities, but it is truly up to you to use them to achieve your career goals. These four years are about finding yourself and trying new things. Be confident in yourself, get the grades, have fun, and go Noles!"

"Florida State University was, simply put, an incredible experience. Students are challenged academically from the first moment they step foot on campus in general education classes to the more rigorous major-specific classes. Through the art history program, I was able to study abroad in Florence among the world's greatest artists, learn from published scholars in the field, and gain experience by working in Florida State's on-campus art gallery. Florida State encourages you to grow as a person as well as a student by offering a myriad of extracurricular activities and opportunities. Service and giving back to the community are heavily emphasized. I do not regret a single second of my time there, and wish I could relive it all over again!"

"A degree in Psychology is like a cake: it is only as good as the sum of its individual parts. While you will be taking rigorous coursework, you must supplement your degree by either working with the department in research, exploring other areas of research, and committing to some community service work. It is highly recommended to consider a second major, as having a psychology degree is more for general competency in the field rather than a direct line to a particular career. It is additionally important to consider post-baccalaureate education, as a bachelors degree in psychology is a good lead-in to other fields in medicine, business, and communication. Be constantly searching for areas of interest, and guide your courses to reflect those interests so you are better prepared after graduation."

"FSU has an amazing program for learning to teach the blind. I grew up north and graduated with an extremely high GPA. Everyone expected me to go to an Ivy League school so it was hard for me to try to explain that FSU was the best school in the nation for my field. I do not regret my decision at all. FSU accepted a lot of my AP and IB test scores and as a result I graduated a year early. The vision program offers a one year Master's program and tons of financial assistance. I am on track to receiving my Master's at age 22! I received countless job offers before graduating with my Bachelor's with salaries way above that of a normal teacher. I highly recommend FSU and this incredible major!"

"Overall I think that FSU does a great job providing students with knowledge and opportunities to prepare students for a successful career. Areas of strength include diversity, graduate funding, and employment opportunities for graduate students. My joint degrees are funded by an assistantship. Unfortunately, FSU does have limited resources, so if you come from a big school with big funds (like I did), FSU is not that school. It is a big school with small funds, they lack a lot of resources like a good student transportation system, textbooks at the bookstore, etc. The graduate classes are also extremely large for what you might consider your typical graduate class size. My classes have close to 40 people in them, and that's larger than my undergraduate classes were at a school that was the same size as FSU. Another great benefit is the proximity of the school to the capital and state agencies. If you want to work with state agencies there is definitely an opportunity here. I believe FSU is a great choice for students, you just have to be accepting of the fact that every school has flaws, and FSU's flaws are that it is not your typical large university."

"Florida State University is an excellent university for students learning, exploring, and getting a higher education. My experience as an African American student was great. I enjoyed the student atmosphere and most of all the Football games that still resonate with me. I enjoyed learning from world renowned faculty in the fields of Psychology and Science. I will forever be a Nole at heart."

"I am pursuing the Masters in Accounting at Florida Atlantic University. The instruction and networking opportunities have been superb. I graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelors in Applied Economics, and was thrilled to be accepted at FAU for the Masters in Accounting. There, you will be given the opportunity to not just earn the degree, but network with companies looking for graduates like yourself. If you are an economics student, and you are not pursuing a doctorate in economics, you may want to consider the Masters in Accounting at Florida Atlantic University."
