"I absolutely love Florida State. Tallahassee was hard for me to get used to at first, but Florida State's charm, history, and spirit always made me feel like I belonged. Aside from how warm and fun the people are, the school has so many awesome programs and educational aspects that helped me thrive as a student. I plan on staying at FSU for my graduate program as well. I will forever be a Seminole in my heart."

"As the first person in my family to leave home for the big scary world known as "college", you could say that I was not quit sure what to expect. But only after a short few weeks on campus at Florida State University, I found myself a new home. A home that created memories for me to last a lifetime and an education that propelled me into a field that I wake up loving every day. FSU is a campus that is full of a wonderful, bright, and diverse population- of students and professors alike! There are so many student related activities, clubs, and events that it is nearly impossible to not fall in love with this school. From cheering with 20,000 of your fellow peers at football games, to cramming at Strozier library until two in the morning, I found myself growing and expanding both in and out of the classroom. My proudest moment in life was the ability to hang my degree in my home office and reflect on the amazing four years that Florida State University has provided me. Go Noles!"

"Florida State University provided me with many opportunities both to development both within my education, but also as a student, individual, and leader. The variety of courses that were offered both through my major and minor allowed me to take any route I wished to while staying within my general major. The courses challenged me academically and allowed me to understand the subjects I had the pleasure of learning about. In regards to leadership opportunities, FSU provided me with many ways to express both what I was interested in and provided me with diverse experiences to make my university experience great. The student leaders, faculty, and my mentors allowed me to express my interests and helped me to build a network that has provided me with the confidence to be successful post graduation. Go 'Noles!"

"Florida State's creative writing program far exceeds any other program available to undergraduate students in the state of Florida; I was told this beforehand, and based on the education I received, especially now that I can see it standing against others, the instructor who advised me in the direction of FSU was far from exaggerating."

"Florida State University provides so many opportunities to get involved with your career field and make connections outside the classroom, as well as having experienced and knowledgeable professors, especially in my major program. I was able to learn so much and find my dream career to work towards, and got involved in several organizations at school and in the community to make connections and meet people who helped prepare me for my future. The Career Center at FSU is also very helpful, and provided help with interview skills, resume and personal statement reviews, and taught young students to become professional and successful business people. FSU has several study abroad opportunities, which I was also fortunate enough to take advantage of. These programs are often program specific; giving students the chance to study what they are passionate about in another country! Overall, FSU made a reserved and shy person like me become adventurous and ambitious. I really stepped out of my shell and was able to make friends with fellow classmates and community members, and find something I was really passionate about learning. Studying abroad through FSU opened my eyes to living abroad and experiencing another culture, and this experience has inspired me to continue my education abroad through graduate school!"

"During my time at Florida State I found the teachers were very philosophical and not very practical. I also felt that the University was very detached from each other and it made it difficult to complete anything in their offices. Overall my experience was good, but I felt I could've been trained better to perform my duties as a teacher."

"This program provided me experience in research and teaching internships. Through this program, I have been able to work alongside local teachers and university professors. This has allowed me to enhance my networking capabilities and communicate community education needs with my peers. This program could have improved by creating more workshop or event opportunities. Creating a more interactive experience between the students within the program, would have established long-term academic relationships with fellow educators."

"Florida State University was a wonderful campus to experience college. Not only did it provide me with an excellent education but it also provided me with a positive social experience. The field I chose to study was broad enough to include different professions for me to research. While in school I was able to do an internship at UMass medical in Child LIfe Therapy. I've also worked in child development and now I'm a teacher. I would recommend FSU for any field of study and remain a loyal alumni."

"Great program, open door policy i.e. if you have questions just walk into any lab and you will be helped. Good seminars. Gathering of graduate students during lunches with speakers is very interactive. Competitive, which drives you to do better."

"The history seminars I have taken have been uniformly excellant. Professors are also quite willing to take on individual students for independent work, even if they are not previously connected with the student. Due to lack of funding the Department has recently cut back its IT, including eliminating the in Department computer lab. Workload is typical for a graduate school. The courses on historiography and research preparation are both excellant. Tallahassee is a typical southern town, albeit slightly more liberal than the rest of the panhandle."

"Excellent program. The faculty are helpful and always willing to provide assistance to the graduate students. The program does an excellent job of providing a sufficient stipend, as well as benefits for their students. My only wish was that there were more classes focused on institutions and quantitative work, but the program does an excellent job guiding the student to other programs for help"

"I'm in the FSU distance learning program for the MSW. It is not online but at a different campus other than the main FSU campus. FSC actually rents space from UF and I attend class there on certain weekends in the semester. The program is a wonderful program. Even though I'm not on the main campus the staff and teachers still make me feel as if I'm a apart of the school. All of the professors have been available to us even when they are back in Tallahassee and take time to help with any work."
