"Stay away from this school their financial service's is a absolute joke, they are incapable of thoroughly explaining anything when it comes to the numbers, they are consistently going thru instructors due to the massive amount of confusion on the administration side."

"This School is a SCAM!!!!! I do not recognize Fortis College there are unprofessional. The clinical coordinator is racist always talking bad about other races except her race.. I was in my last class and since I didn’t pass a test they decided to keep me and my other class mate out of the School and can’t come back!!! All the 2 years I spent wasting my time in this school Money wasted also and Now those credits earned can’t be transfer to another school !!! The students are unprofessional, gossip including the instructors, fake, horrible personalities, they talk about their personal lives than teaching. They don't care about teaching after lured your money. You're warn! Be aware of their scam if you read this, keep up with the good scam."

"Don’t go to this school! The management and staff are very unorganized. The welding program at Fortis College is a joke compared to other schools. Instructors will offer you help and you won’t get it. This school all about collecting your money with nothing in return. The staff is rude, the instructors are rude. I had a miserable experience and I know others have as well."

"Terrible school. Current student and I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They act like they care about you but they only care about the money and keeping their “success rate” up... they do that by kicking you out of the program if you aren’t up to their standards. They treat you as if you are in high school and not adults in college. Teachers and instructors seem to care and go to great efforts to help you. Administration sucks."

"Would not recommend this school. They are all about money and the teachers are unprofessional. They talk to other students about students. They say they have a strict dress cone but they don’t. They have passed people who barely came to class, and passed people who didn’t know how to apply the skills. Smyrna location is full of drama and the school could care less about you and the struggles. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS GETTING YOUR MONEY."

"To anyone thinking about taking this program. Be aware that teachers and instructors don't know about 1/3 of what they are teaching. The mathematics class was a joke, we spent weeks on things we would never use. Also the math teacher was and I quote learning some of the stuff with us. Overall it's a lot of money and less professional than other places."

"First let me start by saying that there are a few positive things about the school. We have had great teachers who actually teach and make their tests. But they end up getting fired or getting fed up with administration and DON plus administration decisions and quit. I finished my ADN at Fortis of Port st lucie and passed my Nclex, and oh boy. Please, do not go there. They lie to your face. A lot, and they get away with so much because, they are all in on the same page. All the people with power are friends and loyal to each other instead of being helpful and do the right thing. Mind you, tuition is over 44000 dollars. When they decide to kick a student out of their program, wasting that student time and money in the process it is also without warning or mercy. The DON is very powerful and not to be messed with. With a smile, she condescendingly constantly talk down to students. I had to always take things with a grain of salt. She told me i had a resting bitch face. And i am sure many other students had interesting encounters with her."

"Honestly when I first started, I thought things were fair and the people giving me warning about the DON and the teachers were just not completing assignments on time and not managing well. Come to find out I was wrong. I am a good student, mostly A’s, never C’s. Passed everything until I got to Capstone. I failed capstone and then I was told to stay out for 3 months. I never asked for a leave, never complained of being tired. On the Contrary i made myself available but I was given some excuse as far as why I needed to wait 3 months and then come back. Which isn’t guaranteed because the DON accept people she feels like accepting and help whoever she wants to help. I only failed capstone and you need to fail two classes to get kicked out. She does whatever she wants and she runs things in there so everyone follow what she wants. She gets spiteful with students who fight her unfair decisions. I did my best, studied hard, always passed everything."

"I don't recommend this school.They will do whatever it takes to get you in the door and get your money.Then they don't wanna answer your questions or if you question why something is happening you get told not to worry about it, it is not your concern.If other students weren't happy with it then they will say something but if only one student is unhappy or complaining then it must be the student."

"Fortis College, CDL Program, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. When I attended school in the spring/summer of 2018 the program was great. The cost compared to other schools was significantly cheaper, and the class size was perfect (1-3 students). My instructor Chad Strickland was one of the most influential people to date in my life. Im sorry to say the school has taken a different approach to the program putting quantity of students, and tuition over a relative class size, offering students like myself a real connection with my teacher, who has been more than just an instructor, but a friend for life. I have been made aware just recently that my good friend, and great teacher is no longer apart of the faculty. This is really disheartening considering the amount of care and effort one individual can put into each and every single human being that is fortunate enough to cross paths with this great man. Quality, not quantity is what makes people great. I wasnt just a number to him. I mattered as a person, as well as my success mattered to him, not just to me but more importantly, me being successful mattered to him sometimes more than I can say at times it mattered to myself. I dont know the new instructors the school has replaced him with, but I can say this, Id bet the house on Chad Strickland over any instructor in the state of Ohio. My friend Chad single handily changed my life. Now hes not the head of the program? I am personally troubled by this considering his success rating for students obtaining their CDL is 94%. I would like answers for this personally, and I also believe that these drastic changes to the schools program should be known to others considering attending Fortis College in the future."

"THIS IS THE WORST SCHOOL EVER. The credits don't transfer. The teachers act like they don't know anything. IF YOUR Pregnant ? When you leave for maternity You are considered a drop out and have to re apply and re enter this school and pay the application fee over too. This is the worst school to attend. Don't waste your money on b*******."

"Dean of Education only cares to get you in the door and offers new students the schedule they want, but once they are a student you can only select what classes are left over and most are evening classes. You would think that current students would have the option to select their classes first. Very unfair. For the cost of going to this school, one would think that the stethoscope would be a descent one, but we had to buy a new one in order for it to work as it should. So far, not too happy with this school."

"I wish I could explain the hatred that I have for the school. The teachers don't teach ,the credits do not transfer anywhere and no one cares about the students! Going to this school was one of the worst decisions I've ever made ,please learn from my mistakes!"

"So this school at first was the best until it came to preparing you for the state board testing, Externship as well as Job placement. They sent me to an doctors office where my skills were not used and the office was not an office, the son of the doctor who had an up and running office was getting the office I was assigned to together to be the second location so basically we are only doing drug testing for Quest. They would not reassign me. So of course there was no job in my field of work. They never gave me my certificate of completion of the course, remember I graduated in 2013 I finally recieved my certificate June 2018, after harrassment and them switching falculty and after the while fraud thing. I Souldnt reccomend this perticular school."

"It is horrible school. No books and they don't have teachers. They are just looking for your money and the moment they get your money. No one there have to listen to you. And they lie so much about what the school will offer you but it is all lies. Just look for other school. This is one is not good at all."

"Theres a surgical technologist instructor who is the worst. She gossips with other students has favoritism. Dont go thee you will learn nothing. Maanagement knows about it but continues to allow her to teach. I went on externship and i was clueless. She is so messy she gossip more than she teaches. If you plan on going to Fortis at that campus dont do it. This professor is the last professor before you go out on extern and she teaches the hands on you will learn nothing. If there was a -1 they would get it. I am upset that management is aware of it and do nothing after we pay so much money to them for our education they don't care."

"Potential students and prospective faculty should stay as far away as possible from this place. Tuition is ten times that of nearby nonprofit schools, a number of programs are on probation, science laboratory courses do not have laboratories, computers and copiers do not work, local employers openly state that they will not hire graduates, credits cannot be transferred to other institutions, there is very high turnover of teachers between resignations (often abrupt and unexpected) and waves of firings and administrators are largely inaccessible to students except to remove them from classes and sweat them for tuition payments while there is almost no contact between faculty and administrators, most of whom are rarely or never on the premises."

"School was good teacher's really cared but after graduation job placement sucks they never helped me find a job. And stop calling and stop returning my calls.the job placement people kept changing and you never knew whom to contact I did online classes."

"They get you in there and are so supportive in the beginning but by the end of the program you will be begging for someone to care. I have found that they don't hold up their end of deal. They want you to pay on time, but they will keep your money until you beg for it."
