"Anywhere you go you will have issues however, this school is very expensive and if you are in the nursing program, you are going to teach yourself more than you will be taught. You will also be expected to already know everything about nursing when you get to your last term. If it is not taught due to staff, that is still on you. If you do not know things, you will be talked down to. Treatment is dependent on who you are and no matter how many times you voice your concerns, you are ignored. You can pass all of your classes and make great grades but when you get to the end if you fail the check off, that is unrealistic and almost impossible to pass, you will have to pay to take the whole class, lab and sim over again. Sim is supposed to be a resource but this school makes it a requirement and you pay for it but can't give you the hours for you to learn what they expect you to know. If you have a job, kids, spouse, or family, I would not recommend attending here. They say it is for working adults, but that is not true. Some instructors will even tell you that if you work, you will struggle and may not pass."

"First of all, I'd like to say, "I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SCHOOL"!!!!! Is it hard? YES? Anything worth getting in Life is hard. My Professor is the Best! I HATED Science prior to this school, Now It's fun, and I enjoy learning it. I am a 20 year LPN and School is that much harder for me. Since I've been here life has been life, but with the support I've received from each and every staff member I know I'm in the right Place. Although Financial aid was a little struggle for me, and I didn't qualify for a lot due to having my Bachelor's, but they Still worked with me. Yes they do remind you when your payment is due, but it's not like You weren't aware (I was praying for a miracle), LOL! God made a way. I always believe that if there was 1 who did it, that means it's doable, so I await my turn. Each and Everything I learn, helps me in my career now in becoming a better LPN. For example, Auscultating BS starting in the RLQ because sounds are...(Professor A). From a new found love for Peppermints, to the Amoeba Sisters, the Hugs, the push, the bags of candy when I need it, The Pictures on the wall as a constant reminder of What I have to look forward to, and last Dean Fox, and President Myvett the absolute Best. I'm so Grateful for the opportunity to be here."

"Only concerned about the money. Administrative staff is a joke. Many better and cheaper nursing schools in Columbus. Thoroughly check out everything about the school including RN pass rate and if school is fully accreditated. Waste of time and money."

"DO NOT IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS. This is by far the worst school I have ever heard of and attended. I convinced myself I could ignore the reviews because, "It is only a year," and I regret this decision! Most of the "instructors" were confused and clueless on the materials. I personally witnessed them being corrected by students when they were teaching new material incorrectly on SEVERAL occasions. For the cost of the program, this should not be tolerated. The last semester I attended there, 2 of my professors quit in the middle of a term, as well as the Dean. I am understanding that life happens, but there was no one to help facilitate the transition. Because of the changes in teaching styles, we were left to basically teach ourselves all the material. Occasionally, the instructors would show or discuss the tests ahead of time because they were aware they did not teach the materials. I spent one entire 12 hour day of clinicals with a pet turtle talking about one of the instructors personal lives. My final straw occurred with the financial aid department. For months, I had been emailing the person who set up all of my financial aid with no responses. I then received a slip at the beginning of class one day stating that I would be dropped from my classes if I didn't make a payment. I went to the financial aid office and explained that I had been trying to reach out to make payments and when I said this, the main person over the financial aid department LAUGHED AT ME. The immense level on unprofessionalism from this program is intolerable. I fully believe this program SHOULD NOT exist. I wouldn't even expect this nonsense from a program if it were free, let alone for the insane amount you spend per term here. DO NOT GO HERE!"

"The centerville campus is an absolute mess. The administration staff do not value respect and are too lenient on students who are disruptive! Instead they applaud them for their inconsiderate behavior. Absolutely absurd being as we are in school to be nurses and must maintain a professional respectful demeanor. I would never recommend Fortis to any of my colleagues or friends. Implementing Respect and holding students accountable should have a high standard at such an expensive school!"

"If I could give this school 0 stars I would. I would not recommend this school to anyone , they will do and say whatever to get you into the program. Once you are enrolled you are nothing but a payment plan for them. This board of nursing needs to seriously take a hard look at how this school nursing program is ran. They will mysteriously say that you need to make up clinical hours when you did them but they somehow lost your hours. The teaching staff do not care about their students at all!! Do not attend this school you will be wasting your time. I should have listened to the reviews."

"I wish there was an option to give zero stars Fortis College in Cutler bay is an absolute joke they purposely overwhelm the students to set them up for failure because the school makes more money in having you repeat the course several times. They have an exit exam where the professors WILL NOT properly prepare the students and if you don't get a score of 900 is an automatic failure for the whole class meaning that the student will have to repeat the semester. This exam is nearly impossible to pass because of this way over half of the class fails the exam and has to retake the class over and over again. DO NOT GO HERE it is a trap to steal your money!!!"

"Personally I had an overall good experience, I don't agree with some of the things they do like the HESI they don't really prepare you for it, but overall the professors I had were great. They don't teach everything but you have to put in effort into reading the book and PowerPoints, they can't just hand you the answers. I like that my professors were really helpful and available to help me when I needed it. I only had 2 professors that weren't great but the rest were so amazing and I learned a lot. I'm grateful for them."

"AWFUL SCHOOL. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Instructors don’t teach the information you need to know. 80% of the graduating classes since Covid have FAILED. 3 people in class of 30 passed NCLEX, all others failed. The teachers will hold your information needed to take the NCLEX unless you do after graduation testing and go back to school for 5 weeks. They do not care about students, only their passing rate. They are MEAN and not supportive. There is a reason in 2 years all teachers have left but 3. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!"

"Don’t waste your time and money here. This nursing program is a joke. It’s a business not a school. All they care about is to get you in and get your money. The dean and staff are so hard to get a hold of yet expect things by a certain date. This school doesn’t know what they’re doing and they’re so unorganized."

"Started here for nursing. All they care about is money pure and simple. I found two other accredited schools that will give you the same degree for more than half the price. They do not care about student’s education all they care about is money. Do not apply here go to a different school where you’ll have refunds each semester to help with monthly bills instead of getting another bill while in college."

"So this school is really a joke every teacher I have came across really don’t care about the students. I am not the type to joke around and bring my personal life in to school so I guess that’s why most of the teachers didn’t vibe with me cause I wasn’t unprofessional like other students but the fundamental teacher is a joke and she is racist and will make jokes about it in class the campus president is aware of the things she do and he don’t do anything cause she is the clinical director at skyline which is also a mess and disorganized. Most of the students complain and say they are teaching them self yet they stay and continue to waste time and money because none of the credits will transfer. I just finished my first year passed my exams and my grade was up to standard but they make you hesi out ok fine the thing Is the teacher claim they don’t know what’s on the hesi and you really can’t study or prepare for it and when you fail it it can drop your grade and cause you to fail the entire call and when I ask the campus president about it who is very rude and could give a dam about any student his reasons was so students take it serious and my response back to him was well can you prepare students for it. They have not teacher and open lab is a joke it a mess and it’s all about money so I decided to withdraw wasted my time and my money. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL NASHVILLE CAMPUS"

"This place is a joke. They do not teach they just tell you to read the book. Staff is unprofessional and constantly turning over. We constantly go the dean who has no clue about how the program works and he does nothing. Campus director refuses to respond back when they are given bad reviews. The software they use never works, staff has no control over how tests are made. This campus has a massive dropout rate due its administration and its "policies".Save your money and your time and just go to a real school, not a joke like this place."

"Worst college experience I have ever had. I was bullied by the Dean of nursing who refused to adhere to my 504/IEP out of spite, left traumatized 50,000.00 in debt and no transferable credits. I found some of the best teachers here but they leave frequently do to job stress and incivility."

"This school is a joke!!!!! They tell you lies to get you into the door, all they want is your money. They lose instructors like crazy and the teachers have no idea what they are talking about or teaching. This school is so disorganized, they change schedules at a whim and the dean is literally living in another world. All this school wants is your money they don't care about the students at all! I got out after a year of them screwing up my financial aide all the time and talking to a bunch of students ahead of me and discovering how many people fail out of this school with massive amounts of debt. I even talked to the capstone teacher about the passing rate and finding out how many people didn't pass the class of the program and the teachers response was "they just want it enough, they didn't put in the dedication that they should have". I find it very hard to believe students who spent 2 years of their life going to this school and paying about $48,000 wouldn't want to pass the program. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL AND LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES!"

"If I could give 0 stars I would but I can’t. They lie to get you in the door and once you start you find out the credits do not transfer so you are basically a hostage to the school or you loose everything. They are unorganized, constantly change your schedule they change due dates and when you get to the last term after paying almost $50000 they have you do a final simulation that they say you have been training for you have not because they give you charts out of the dark ages and medications that do not even look at match up w drug books and then have you do so many crazy steps that are not real life. Then fail 75% of the students and make them retake the qtr again it’s ridiculous and if they need to be reported for all the lies. They career service lady just told us this fortis degree makes you ineligible for working at govt hospitals that was also never said before. Stay away from here they need to be shut down"

"This school is the worst school I have ever been to!! They literally teach you nothing and don’t care if you pass or not. All they care about is money. The Centerville campus in Ohio should be shut down because of how unorganized and unprofessional they are. I am paying 40,00 to learn nothing , I am having to learn everything off YouTube myself. I regret signing up for this school. Do not go here you will not learn a thing and will be over charged for an associates degree. The nursing Foundations class is a joke and you will also learn nothing there. The teacher teaches nothing and is unprofessional and doesn’t help you with any work or anything. She has not even taught us how to do blood pressures. She never taught about it and just told Is to practice on our partners and now wants to test us on something she has never even taught us in the first place, she is a terrible instructor and shouldn’t teach . The school is terrible , you learn nothing , you Have no resources , the teachers or dean doesn’t care about you at all. Save you money if you are in Ohio go to Honduras or Kettering I heard they are great and you learn a lot and the school is very good l."

"I am current enrolled in the RN program at Fortis College. Please do not come to this school!!! I have talked several friends out of going to this school. If you decide to enroll remember that warning. I have not failed any classes, I am one of the few. The school does not care if you graduate with your degree. It is for profit, if you get a degree or not does not matter. The exams have nothing to do with the subjects that the instructor goes over in class, or go over in during the exam study group with the instructor. The exams are pretty much your entire grade. If you ignore this warning, do so at your own expense."

"I won’t recommend this school for anyone. You can do all your assignments, quizzes and tests on time with good grades but if life happens and you’re unable to pass the Hesi, all your efforts go down the drain. You cannot retake the Hesi which is 20% of your total grade .This is unfair and you can fail with 77.99. Go elsewhere and don’t waste your time and money."
