"I decided to go back to school so that I could help my family when my husband decided to retire from active duty. I began the medical assistant program in 2017 and was immediately blown away by the caring staff and amazing teachers. They truly care about their students. The programs are strict with dress code, behavior and attendance. But it is all beneficial for the students! I graduated in May 2018, began work with the local hospital as PRN staff in June, and began the Fortis R.N. program in July. Fortis at Pensacola now has their ACEN accreditation!! I am blessed to have found this school. It has changed my life!"

"Fortis Institute - Pensacola has been a surprising blessing in my life. I decided to go back to school and learn a trade that would help my family when my husband decided to retire from active duty. I entered the medical assistance program and was immediately embraced by the teachers. They are strict with rules and attendance, dress code and behavior. But they definitely care about their students and their success. They are willing to stay after class, help with extra skills, and give extra instruction when it is needed. I graduated the medical assistant program in May 2018, was hired by the local hospital as PRN staff in June 2018, and immediately applied for the nursing program. I am now in my second term in the nursing program and am being challenged weekly to stretch my mind, reach outside my comfort zone and work hard to achieve what I want. The staff on the nursing side of the school is amazing! Professors offer tutoring, answer all the questions we have, and give plenty of their own time to make sure we succeed. Nursing is now ACEN accredited at Fortis - Pensacola! I am thrilled I found this place!"

"Fortis made promises that never kept once they got their money i didn't exist said job would pay 35k and that there were more jobs than people to fill still no job there placement helped in no way called daily always said no jobs was very upset with this as i was not working"

"Overall I loved my classes and the actual teachers. Once you're approaching graduation the school's career services dept. is suppose to help you find a job, but if you do not have a car or speak Spanish you're on your own. Good luck and learn Spanish"

"The Medical Assistant program was not what I was looking for so I was a little disappointed but I continued through it. I felt I did learn things in my field of work and was given ideas on had to proceed with my career. The teachers and affiliates of the school were very good at answer questions, finding an answer or directing you to someone who can answer the question. I would have like more lab experience to learn better. There could be a better explanation on how the holidays and days missed work but overall the education was great."

"I really HATE this school. Hate is a strong word i understand but this school I HATE!!.consistently bother you to pay there money on time. They will pull you out of class for your payments. If you dont pay you get suspended. There was a few times i went to talk to the dean and she asked me what i am doing out of class and that i shouldnt be out of class that i am missing "important" information. But then again. They pull you out of class for your payments. The dean sucks. She has like this voice that sweet but once you do something not professional. Then this man voice comes out. And wants to talk about professionalism. None of there people at this school have professionalism"

"I went to the forty fort campus. The staff was great. The admin was great. Everyone cared and said hello every day. I am working in my field and I'm loving in. So glad I went here to school. It cost a little more than I was hoping to pay but worth ever penny. Thank you for a new life."

"This school is an absolute rip off. It claims to be a college but behaves exactly like a high school. They focus more on the dress code than they do what you are actually learning. Most of the classes are irrelevant to what you need to learn but are more classes you're forced to take so that they can get more money from the student or financial aid. I have yet to meet a student that left there debt free. They never show the price of the books or the classes. You have no idea where your money is going. If the money is requested you are greeted with attitude and numbers are thrown together for you. As a person that has experienced a University and a community college, I know that I was taken for a ride. I would never recommend this school to anyone that is actually seeking any kind of career. None of the teachers are qualified or actually want to do their job. They do and say whatever they want to the students and the students are forced to not only deal with it but pay for it as well. Every student that ever attended is owed their money back but we all know we'll never get it back. The only reason I continued to attend because I was told that they had already received the money from Financial Aid and even if I leave I will owe it back. We can not even start without how often my tuition changed in the quarters. How tuition is almost as expensive as attended a 2 or 4 year college but you have absolutely none of the benefits.DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL."
