Franklin is not a reputable organization their accreditation holds no value to employers. The instructors don't have a grasp on professionalism and don not questions promptly. Finally the Academic Advisor your assigned is booked for consultation literally months in advance leaving you to email only. This makes the experience terrible in my opinion. Save your time this is a school for the desperate.

If you want to waste your time and money, then this is a place for you. Don't ever give a try or else, you sure will regret. Teachers just read from the module and the example from the module then students will do the rest. Teachers do not clarify directions and return students' answers. No adviser, no body to help and nobody answerss if you have questions. Quick to answer if you are enrolling but after, good luck!

School's a joke. You have to be in a group your first class! After graduating from TWO Masters degree from Devry in Accounting with a GPA 3.57. I told my groupmates I was in the military and I had drill they complained to my professor about it when I sent an email stating that I was on active duty Never was I thanked for my service from ANYONE and once they got their money, they didn't care to help me. Unpatriotic and Karen type students. MILITARY IS NOT THE SCHOOL FOR YOU. Everyone else, Devry is... Read More

Newer student and Currently taking algebra class that provides zero instruction, only send out daily assignments and tests. I cannot believe how this class is operated, we are basically learning on our own where we can and struggling to pass the tests due to no instruction at all. I've contacted the teacher and received nothing but attitude. I WILL be filing a formal complaint with the UA to have this school pulled from our funding program. This is absurd!

I found the quality of education at Franklin to be hit or miss. The work ethic of the instructors varied wildly, with some displaying obvious interest in their students and the education being provided while others did very little to provide any actual instruction (sometimes cancelling lecture several times in a trimester) . Most of the classes I found to be too "cookie cutter" for my taste, meaning they all had very similar requirements week by week, most of which required a group project and a... Read More

This is the worst school I been into so far. Most classes are on line, so you are teaching your self. The tuition is expensive, half of professors are terrible and they are giving you problems for doing your work and try to get you in trouble by framing you for plagiarism. I would stay away from this school. I learned more info in one year at CSCC than in 4 years in Franklin. This school is garbage.

This school provides a rare opportunity for busy adults to work toward completing their college degree at an accelerated and convenient pace. The curriculum is rigorous and can be writing intensive. However, the demands are achievable can be immediately applied to a student's work-setting. This institution does an exceptional job at providing students a balance of theory, application, and real-world mentorship that enables them to enter the workforce with a strong skill-set or have an immediate impact... Franklin's accelerated program was difficult to balance with work and family, so some sacrifices had to be made to complete the program. In the end, valuable lessons were learned and friends were made, making it worthwhile.

Coursework required as much as thirty plus hours a week outside of class, so the program wasn't exactly easy to fit into my schedule. With some help from my family, who picked up my slack, I was able to complete my MBA while working a sometimes intense full-time job. Many of my instructors were very helpful in growing my professional skills, and I would recommend the program, despite being tired at the end.

I really enjoyed my time at Franklin, but it was much different than I expected. Despite being an online school, there is a lot of group work and instructors will hold class online with required attendance despite the fact that this information is not available when you sign up for classes.

I attended Franklin University by utilizing its online Vantage MBA online program from 2008 to 2010. I was able to take advantage of the university's asynchronous (study / submit assignments at your own pace) delivery, while honoring the due date. I highly recommend this institution to those considering online, in-class, or hybrid studies. I attended this university using financial aid in the form of Stafford loans. Dr. Earl W. Campbell, DBA

For the most part, the classes were flexible and the institution seemed to understand that their students' lives did not solely revolve around school, that we had other responsibilities such as work and family to attend to, which I appreciated. Some classes that are mandatory are, quite frankly, unneeded and quite a waste of time; for the most part, however, the classes are intense, involved, interesting, and prepare you for a career in your chosen field.

Every choice in life has a pro and con, graduate school is no exception. I chose Franklin University because I can finish my degree in 16 months and more importantly, it's more affordable than other schools I looked at in the area. At about $25,000 I have more of a chance in paying off my school debt than if I chose a larger school which charges about $60,000 to receive an MBA.

I loved my undergrad time at Franklin. My graduate program has been full of relevant, pertinent information and a wealth of experience. Franklin University AS in Business Administration I enjoyed learning online as I could work at my own pace. The entire course's assignments were posted at the beginning and I could work on as many as I wanted at a time. Team projects made it more like a class and encouraged us to meet and speak with each other. Most of the teachers were good at their job. The coursework consisted of writing papers, taking proctored tests, posting on a bulletin board each week/day and a team project. We utilized an... Read More
