It was fast, and efficient. I wish that the courses were longer. I wish that we had been helped more after college to get into the work force.

Graduation Year: 2015

After I left my undergraduate program, I immediately enrolled into Full Sail. They gave me all the tools I needed to become a designer. Is there much education at this point? Yes. I spent weeks, learning and perfecting my craft to become a proficient Art Director. My professors usually give me effective feed back within a timely manner. To put things in perspective however, I enrolled in 2013. 3 months later, I was dropped from the program for averaging a 2.5 gpa. 6 months later, I re-enrolled for the same program. Within those 6 months, I searched for a job. My efforts didn't land me anything. I also considered working for myself. However, my clients didn't take me serious. After re-enrolling, I've put together a solid portfolio. I also have become a professional, using the correct terms and widening my skills to fit every media strategy. Full Sail didn't just educate me, it transformed me personally. With that, I personally recommend this university to anybody wanting to get more out of their education.

I thoroughly enjoyed my classes at Full Sail University. The courses were online, but the course instructors are there for you if you have any problems or questions. I connected with them through phone, iChat and email. The weekly online meetings are recorded so you never miss a class presentation. In fact, I went back to get another Master's degree in Internet Marketing and graduated in October 2014. Once you graduate you can audit your degree courses if you want. You also have the ability to attend any. Per the work question below - I am working on starting my own business.

Notice how all these great reviews on this page sound the same? Praise for the school while being vague about the details, and blaming htpothetical the students for not applying themselves to get the full potential. They even flow with similar syntax and prose. Almost as if they were written by the same person?

So far, I love this school. Anything that has gone wrong while attending has been entirely of my making. I did have problems when I was first trying to get in. A couple of the student advisors weren't people friendly and were not as attentive as they should have been but that was finally remedied when I finally got the nerve to ask for someone who would do their job. Other than that issue, it's been great. I have recommended this school already to many people and have even tried to get people to reconsider going to other schools and look into Full Sail. I wish I wasn't just an online student. There are so many great events that take place on campus that I would love to be able to attend. Unfortunately, the drive from Maine to Florida and back is just too exhausting for me to do.

Degree: Art & Design
Graduation Year: 2016

As I'm progressing each month through my program, I'm falling more and more in love with my school. The course work is rigorous and the schedule is challenging - and that's exactly the kind of pressure I thrive under so I enjoy that it's not simple. If the content were so simple, I wouldn't feel as if I was really learning. My brain enjoys being made to think. I do warn that the schedule and the standard of the courses is not for everyone. Semesters are crammed into month long time periods, which is very unlike a standard university where semesters are usually 4 months long. Moving on, I applaud that the professors here are all people who have been in the industry, or, in most cases, are STILL working in the industry alongside teaching. They have experience in working with their material and I believe that gives them edge. They have a passion for what they do and it shows in their lectures when they can not only teach the material but also give insider information or tips from their own experiences. Another thing I've come to enjoy about this campus is the networking opportunities. Guest speakers will often hold seminars for students to attend, and we are given the chance to see what it takes to succeed in our fields, to ask questions, to see what success looks like, how to get there, and we are able to network with these professionals - many of whom are graduates of Full Sail. The final thing I want to mention about this school is the mindset of the students attending here. Everyone is so passionate and very excited to get out into our respective industries. There is a drive to succeed and it's very motivating to be surrounded by like minded individuals.

Degree: Film Production
Graduation Year: 2014

The Digital Cinematography BS program is great for those who are interested in the latest digital formats for filming. It's a comprehensive course, packed with lots of practical information and projects to get you up and running. It's an accelerated curriculum and is not for those who need the classroom interaction to get motivated. In order to succeed and get the most out of the course, you have to be self-motivated and really want to learn and apply the techniques and information.

Degree: Journalism
Graduation Year: 2013

Websites, mobile applications, blogs, and social media have become standard additions to the way people stay connected, and today’s media professionals require a robust skill set in order to stay current in their field.

Communication is only getting more sophisticated, and being able to take an active role in both writing and producing this content is an invaluable asset to those building their career in media. The corporate world also has a strong demand for marketing copywriters and multimedia content developers to help craft a company’s messaging for online advertising – relating products and services to consumers in a way that incorporates web technology like Photoshop, InDesign, Flash and CSS. The integration of so many of these roles across different media outlets makes it possible to establish yourself in any number of positions at different companies while building a career in the evolving world of new media. Full Sail offers the cutting edge in technology, programs and faculty to learn all this and more. Each student is given a customized MAC laptop with all materials needed already uploaded and for their specific degree program. The staff are not only excellent teachers but are also from the field you are entering offering expertise and advice on how to excel. Bottom line, great school, great programs, excellent staff - just be prepared to work hard, its worth it!

Graduation Year: 2014

Full Sail University is one of the best. They actually take the time and prepare you for the real world. Your classes actually matter and are not just there to fill the time or for an extra credit. I feel that they fully prepared me to go out in the real world as a designer. I learned valuable skills and was given advice that I will take with me. The instructors care and are always there to help. The student support is amazing, everybody wants to help and are there for advice, feedback, and just to talk. They give you all the equipment you need and keep you up-to-date, which is extremely important in the entertainment field. I also like fast-paced curriculum, it only took me 3 years to get a Bachelors' Degree. While doing it online, I did not feel isolated. The only thing I have to say is that it is expensive, like any other degree program. There are not too many scholarships, but they do try and help you out where they can. The support is amazing after school as well, the advisers are there for a lifetime, they will help you find a job and give advice. I would highly recommend to check this school out!
