"I loved my time at Gallaudet. It is the only school of its kind in the world. I would not trade my time there for anything. I liked it so much that I am now going back for graduate school. I love that the campus is completely bilingual, with all interactions happening in American Sign Language and written work happening in English. The bureaucracy of dealing with offices is terrible, but the unique experience makes it worth it."

"Gallaudet University is a great institution that prides itself on diversity and inclusion. Historically established for students who are Deaf/Hard of hearing, Gallaudet offers a rich culture and resources for students in this population. As a hearing student, I have been able to learn ASL in classes and in everyday interactions. This component has been exceptionally beneficial to my education in speech pathology."

"It is a great school for those who are deaf. Some have said Gallaudet University lacks academic rigor, but every school is what you make of it. If you are willing to challenge teachers -- without an attitude -- then you will be rewarded. They will love to teach you what they know."

"Gallaudet University is the only university for the deaf in United States. I recommend it strongly for its 100% accessibility, diversity, and resources especially if you are deaf and use American Sign Language. Its education could be a little better, but it is still an excellent school. It is also ;located in Washington, D.C., so it is at a place with exciting things to do."
