"Attending Georgia Perimeter College has really shaped my life and given me the extra push I need to keep going, as far as my education is concerned. The professors made me enjoy being there and when I walked across that stage, I felt a huge sense of joy and accomplishment."

"What I value most at Georgia Perimeter College are the online courses that are available in almost every subject with a professor who teaches at one of the local campuses. The value and significance of distance learning is seen every day, as working parents CHOOSE to spend the precious few hours of free time they have, working towards an education. We give up late night TV, lunch breaks, and weekends because it’s the only time we have left to give up. It’s a sacrifice I’m happy to make, because the flexibility of distance learning lets me pursue something I want in life. It is because of GPC's online courses that I have hope of a better future and a way to obtain it without having to wait until my own daughter is in college. I have taken a course on campus (at the Newton Campus) and that was also enjoyable. I have seen 2 of their campuses and they were both very clean. I once attended a community college in Virginia Beach, and I have to say that GPC offers SO many more student activities than my previous college. Every week I get emails about a cookout on campus, or a speaking event, field trip, etc. They really go above and beyond to make the college a fun place to be."

"This school is a joke. The teachers do not care about you, do not check up on you, and don't grade your work on time. The office is impossible to talk to. They have an answering system of students. It is impossible to talk with a finical adviser unless you leave a message. Then they might or might not call you back later in the week. If you miss that call, you have to start the process all over. I didn't have a single semester where the office had my financial aid on time. They lost my paperwork every single term. I had to resend it all the time and when I would finally talk to a finical advisory, they wouldn't know anything about my situation because they were still waiting on paperwork,,,,,that they had lost. Then they would tell me to come onto campus. After I would tell them for the 3rd or 4th time I was on online student 400 miles away, they would tell me that there isn't much I could do except wait to see if the paper work turned up. This school is not worth the hassle. They offer accelerated programs which is why I decided to attend this school. But there are better ones out there for the money. You might also want to double check to make sure any school you want to transfer to accepts their accreditation and that your credits will even transfer. I am having trouble with this from several school including Penn State and other actual universities.Good luck finding someone who actually went here and has something positive to say."

"Georgia Perimeter College (GPC) is a 2 year University system which offers classes that are accepted all over the US and overseas. I enjoyed going to school there because I had the luxury to take online, in-class, evening and hybrid classes which was very convenient for me as I worked full time while attending GPC. The teachers are very receptive to student concerns and strive to see their students succeed. Moreover, GPC offers courses at a cheaper rate than most undergrad Universities and as such I completed pretty much all of my pre-pharmacy courses there (except Biochemistry). Today, I am proud to say I am a second year Doctor of Pharmacy student at Mercer University and top of my class (4.0 GPA) because of the preparation I received from GPC. I would recommend GPC to any student who aspires to make a change for herself/himself and for the world."
