"Georgian Court University has both good and bad aspects, especially when pertaining to their School of Nursing (SON). The professors who instruct nursing courses are a combination of practicing and non practicing nurses, which improves the learning experience. Despite this, the SON offers almost no notice for mandatory tests or classes, which are different from original scheduled class times. If you have a job, kids, or any other commitment separate from your studies, be prepared to make sacrifices due to their lack of communication and inconsideration."

"This school needs a lot of improvement. First off, Something MUST be done about the traffic around the grounds. The town of Lakewood is extremely crowded and over run by pedestrians. Pedestrians put themselves in the way of your car constantly! And it takes an hour just to make a left on to rt 9 because there no left turn signal. Food provided consists of only over priced burgers. There are weeds everywhere. The grounds could use refurbishment. There is no social life. No clean place to hang out or make a phone call uninterrupted. When scheduling, classes are almost always full, even if you have seniority. The actual buildings could use updating. And classrooms could use refurbishment. Most annoying of all they require 2 service learning internships as a graduation requirement Which I find entirely Unnecessary and completely out of the way. Positive note: most of the professors are kind, helpful and resourceful and approachable."

"Georgian Court was not my cup of tea. The atmosphere resembles that of a religious drag queen. Administration were very uptight. While I did like some of my professors there were absolutely no standards and anyone could pass their dum- down curricula. It is a classic suitcase commuter school."

"Georgian Court is an amazing campus esthetically. In addition, it's just small enough to have classroom sizes that accommodate quaint learning experiences. Also, campus safety is relatively good as there is only one entrance that has a guard station. Most students are commuters, however I am not sure of the statistics. All staff is more than willing to help and passionate about working at campus"

"The town that it is located in is awful. It is impossible to drive around there. The education department was frustrating."

"At Georgian Court, I found that the professors were always and willing to help. I enjoyed my time there as an undergrad that I also did my graduate work there as well. I liked how close it was to my home, and I was able to save money by commuting. The other thing I enjoyed about Georgian Court was the campus. It is not spread out all over the place and the classes are easy to go back and forth with. The one draw back about Georgian Court was the expense. I found it to be a little pricey, but it was worth the convenience of it being so close to my home."

"Georgian Court is a GREAT school with amazing professors and staff in general. They want you to do well and do whatever they can to help. The con is the cost. It's so expensive but it really is worth every penny."
