"One of my greatest memories at school was one of my marketing teachers putting me through a very tough final project. She took the time to make sure we would be prepared for anything when we left school. And when I look back over my undergraduate studies, most of my teachers pushed me harder than I have been pushed before. A lot of my teachers went above and beyond to make sure you would become successful. This is what you can look forward too at Grambling State University at a student. You have small classes, which gives a more intimate setting and you can get to know your teachers better. You learn more than what is in the books and beyond what the standard curriculum is. If you have a willingness to learn and work hard then Grambling State University is a great place for you to grow. The Grambling State University motto is The place where everybody is somebody and motto stands true everyday."

The professors were so supportive and they made the program feel like a family. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I wouldn't change it for the world."

"Grambling State University, School of Social Work program is an intense and challenging field. Like with many programs, there are pros and cons. Our program pros outweighs the cons. Our program is an intimate setting. There are an average of thrity students in both the first and second year. The faculty and staff are personable and generous. Each staff is dedicating in assisting you, and will make sure that the students needs are being met. Being that Grambling is in rural area, the options for field placements are limited, forcing you to travel one to two hours to an agency. That is the only con. Overall, our program is great. The professors are qulaified and certified in teaching effctively to the students. The material taught is for preparation to passing the state lincensure exam. If interested, you will not be disappointed!"
