Degree: Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician
Graduation Year: 2018

This School has been great. The BSEET is ABET accredited. How many online degrees can say that? Not many! I spend about 3 hours on my school work 5 days a week. When I've taken classes like Calculus and Physics, I normally need 3 hours at 7 days a week. The classes are the same as any brick and mortar school. I used lectures from larger universities to help with learning at time and I've compared coursework to my friends at a local university. This school is great! The teachers will respond in a timely fashion and many times the other students can help you in the forums. They do a great job getting class participation and make you feel like you really are in a classroom. I highly recommend the school. Most people complaining, complain due to funds and the financial side of things. I've was lucky and my job paid for it, so I can't speak from that side of things. Good Luck!

Great school for those already working in the field they are going to school for! If you are electronics tech, hr professional, admin professional, or IT professional, this is a good school for you. You can use your real word experience and apply it toward your degree.

Amazing program that is 100% accredited by ABET. Grantham is 1 of a few ABET online accredited programs and is easily one of the best bang for your buck schools. For those who don't know, ABET is a huge deal for Engineering programs that almost every engineering job requires. Do not spend time at any school that doesn't have this. They do an awesome job creating an online environment where you really feel like you know your classmates. Interaction with classmates is a strict requirement and you will not pass without initiating in conversations as a group. I'm very impressed and I would recommend to anyone.

Degree: Electrical Engineering
Graduation Year: 2014

I attended Grantham from March 2012 until I graduated in November 2014. I believe this degree is made for people that are already in the field and are looking to advance their career. The BSEET program is ABET accredited now and is back dated to October 1, 2014. This is a step in the right direction, there are few online schools out there that offer ABET accredited engineering degrees. I am glad to here this seeing this will open more doors for grad school (would be more if they were regionally accredited) and employment. I wish Grantham would offer a Masters in Engineering eventually seeing this is something I want to pursue.

Graduation Year: 2006

I graduated from Grantham Univeristy and landed an Electrical Engineering job for the Air Force. To all those Grantham doubters all I can say is you were wrong. Even ABET surveyors thought it is one heck of a valuable program. As I know most have never taken our word as graduates that this school is great and its instructors as well as its administration does vaue its students learning. I'll gladly show you the supporting documentation below. Yes, I'm smiling ear to ear while I say that we told you so... http://www.grantham.edu/in-the-news/grantham-university-recognized-abet/ http://main.abet.org/aps/Accreditedprogramsearch.aspx

First, I did not graduate from this college. I studied there for about two years and finally had enough. The staff and instructors are garbage, and there is very little help with school work. The problems are far and wide throughout every part of the school. I can't imagine a worse school. I had to take online courses because I was stationed away.

Grantham is what you make of it. I feel my did help me land my current position as a controls engineer. The only suggestion I would have for the school is, they should seek ABET accreditation for the engineering degrees. This would help them attract more students.

At times, the course material was very challenging, especially the "Systems and Signal Theory" class. But if you give it 100%, you can complete your degree as I did. My goal was to obtain a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering with a 4.0 GPA, which I was successful in doing. For me, GU's online program gave me the best opportunity for completing my engineering degree, as I work full time with limited time to drive to a college. I must say something about my student advisor, Katie Langford. She was awesome in helping me obtain my degree. Without her help, I would have been forced to take one more class to complete my degree, which would have given me ~132 credits. Thanks Katie!! Even with this one class issue, I would strongly recommend GU to anyone. For the most part, the class professors were accommodating to student's needs. Interacting with them through discussion posts and emails provided a connection that was a conduit for learning. My very first professor, professor R., told me I was her first student to obtain a 100% in her class, and she wanted me to keep in touch (this was in 2011). Every year since then I have sent her an update on how my classes were going. Even though she no longer teaches at GU, she was still encouraging me to complete my degree. It was awesome telling her I graduated with a 4.0 GPA, which she knew was my goal. Professor's like Professor R. is what makes GU so special.

Degree is worthless. This school is NOT regionally accredited, NOT ABET certified, and NOT recognized by the government so you CANNOT get a government job. Waste of time and effort. Waste of money. Go the CC route. Go to a regionally accredited university and get a degree you can be proud of.
