Student & Graduate Reviews
Being a graduate from Grantham University in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree, I can say that many of these negative statements about the school are incorrect.
No... the school is not regionally accredited. But that doesn't mean the school is "worthless" or "a joke" as some have said. Grantham U is accredited by the DETC, and is in the process of becoming regional accredited.
As far as the validity and worth of a Grantham degree....If you start at Grantham and graduate, your degree is just as valid as if it were to come from any other college or university. Employers typically don't care where your degree comes from, especially if you served in the military. Most corporations understand that military personnel must attend a non-traditional school to complete their degree.
To answer another allegation concerning transferring to another university, a degree from Grantham University will allow you to attend graduate school from a regionally accredited college. I am currently enrolled in a Master's program at the University of Maryland University College based on my Grantham U degree. So, fear not Grantham students, UMUC is a regionally accredited college!
