I do not like the direction this school is going. The fact is that Grantham has increased costs for students while not improving the courses; if anything the courses have become worse. I used to be able to shop around and get better prices on textbooks. Guess what? Grantham included textbooks for courses in their course fee increase BUT the increase was a lot more than what I used to pay for my books. Grantham has also started using online portals to Cengage and other course content providers. The professors no longer teach the courses - it is to whomever they outsourced the course to. This is NOT a good thing. It means that Grantham no longer charges students for their professors to teach us; it is the contractor that teaches us. If we wanted that contractor to teach us, we would have gone to them instead of Grantham!

I am a 100% rated vet with PTSD and TBI, Grantham university could care less unless its CYA, they are not looking out for vets which means they probably aren't to concerned with active duty. I have been through numerous student advisors who theyre main objective is having their bases covered. I have yet to receive anything from them saying even half way decent job the only time your hear from them is if you fail a class and they start worrying about money.

Active military, I've taken 3 course here and am now looking for another school to attend. Have had multiple " career counselors" and each time I try to communicate with them they disappear and a new one takes there place. currently on counselor number 5. this leads to a lot of confusion with course selection and even what date courses start. just found out next course starts in 3 days. TA requires a minimum of 14 days to apply so that's 2 months wasted. When you choose to not take a course do to outside obligations work, family, etc. they hound you through phone and emails to the point of harassment even when you make it very clear you are not taking a course. Finally my last course taken was a complete joke. week 3 of 8 I realized that the instructor doesn't even grade assignments. I purposefully started submitting wrong answers and still was receiving 100% Also asked for assistance on course work and never received a response. THIS place is a joke and completely unorganized. recommend ANYWHERE else.

This school is a joke. Do not go here. I was paying out of pocket to go, and had a monthly payment plan set up. I had to pay through the school website. Well I left after 1 year because I found out a lot of the classes do not transfer anywhere! That being said, I left. I was unable to make my payments online anymore so I needed to call and make my payments. I called every week, then every day, talking to whomever and whoever I could get on the phone and no one could direct me on where to pay. So I thought about mailing them a check. It never came out. To this day it has not. Now that account went to collections after I made every attempt to pay. DO NOT GO HERE.

While in the military, I took several online classes through Grantham. I found it ironic that their tuition fee was $250/credit hour, the highest amount the military will pay for tuition assistance. After researching local schools I could transfer to after I separated, I found out that Grantham University is nationally accredited, not regionally. No one would accept any of those credits from Grantham, and I feel I was cheated out of my time and the government was cheated out of a lot of money.

Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2018

I am a UC Berkeley graduate (2015) who returned to school at 40. I needed to move forward, and there was zero chance I was going to spend $50K - $100K+ for an MBA. I did a lot of researching and ultimately chose Grantham University. I received a ton of support, I was called all the time by my advisor to make sure I was OK, my emails and issues were resolved quickly, and I never had an real problem. I was able to do a compressed MBA in 1 year, and it was perfect for my needs and scope. People who do this kind of online degree program have to be mature, disciplined, self-starting, and organized. The bad reviews come from students who are not mature or academically ready to ensure their own academic success, and are blaming the University for their own failures. I highly recommend Grantham- BUT, you have to drive yourself, make yourself study, read the books, and get your value out of your educational process. No place for kids or whiners.

Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2017

I graduated with MBA in 2017. Entrance into the school almost felt almost automatic and required a phone interview along with application, fee, and other supplemental documents such as any prior transcripts. There is a required 3 week Graduate Success course required and is taken in conjunction with another class. This is the only instance dual classes are required. My experience was great. I appreciated the relevance of the assignments and discussions. I also appreciate the additional value of interacting with other students and instructors. I am prior military and the military discount provided is great and worth inquiring about. As with any degree program, you get out what you put in. I recommend at least checking out Grantham University if interested in online education. Good luck!

this school is a gimmick. a flat out joke. they only do assignment that relate to your personal business. they never know nothing and send you in circles when you are trying to find out information about student accounts. they put you on accedemic probation for any and everything so they wont have to cash you out on student loans. this is the most unorganized place of business in the whole united states of america and their degree not worth the paper it is printed on

Graduation Year: 2019

Before I started I was told I could begin on academic overload. Then the story was that I'd be able to after taking their fake 1 credit "college success class" that had no point and big brother written all over it. Then I had to complete another semester. Then the dean wouldn't approve academic overload because 3 days before the end of class with every assignment turned in and a 98% wasn't an actual "A" grade until the teacher issued it and he wanted to wait. So after 10 credits and a 4.0 GPA I was finally able to begin academic overload even though the academic counselors lied to me (and are impossible to reach if you have a problem) and the actual school standard is 6 credits. The next delay is that you can only take PRJ classes one at a time and they wont schedule (or didn't) schedule them paired with a regular class. So when all you've got left are the last four PRJ classes your forced to drop back out of academic overload "for your own good". They added literally months to the time its going to take to complete the degree program with their dean who can't rub two brain cells together and dishonest scheduling practice. If your ever able to reach them with a problem there is no actual solution they can offer. You just dance around fake answers until you realize they don't care and nothing is going to change.

FA is terrible at Grantham in the beginning we were taking two classes which was exciting to me then they started making us take one class so boring. FA officer says they disburse half of the student funds in the beginning of semester and the other half at the end of that semester it don't make since to me at all fa officer thinks your info went through the system automatically only to find out weeks later past your disbursement date that she needed to enter the info manually . I wish I never came to this hole in the wall. and I don't recommend that anyone attend here.
