"I graduated in 2017 from the ADN program, after finishing school and unsuccessfully not passing my nursing boards at the first time, I was really upset and mad at my self after 6 months of trying to study on my own and get the courage to take them again. I received an email from the President of the University Madison Campus asking if I was interested in getting help on preparing for my boards which that was amazing. I had never heard of any other school that would do that for any student. I received help from various instructors Professor Ruiz, Professor Lange, Dr Lyles, and they even connected me with a wonderful life coach Deb. Every one of them gave me the courage and the strength to believe in myself and face the biggest exam and be successful. After working with Herzing for a year and making sure I achieved the green light, I was successful this time and PASSED my boards! Everything was because Herzing never gave up on me and they never let me give up on myself. Thank you Jo K RN"

"DON’T believe any of the Positive reviews you see here! This school is a rip off. Professor Ruiz is the worst Nursing Professor ever. More than half of the students in her class are failing and she does not seem to care. She does not care about the students. She does not make her PowerPoints and she barely lecture. She send you the PowerPoints and you’re on your own. If she does not like you, she will not help you. Don’t even waste your time or money. Go to another school!"

"I recently left Herzing and honestly, the nursing program is so disorganized. I felt as if they wanted you to fail. The midterm and final tests were the worst. I feel like they dont prepare you to continue on with the program. Their nursing program wall of graduates were about 10 students. That should tell you something. Paying so much for the school and the ending results became so disappointing. I think they need to change the program completely. I met a lot of great people there and more than half my class dropped out or either failed the term. The program makes it unreal to pass and move forward."

"This school is a waste of money. Lord forbid if you or a family member gets terminally ill. The school has no exceptions and trying to appeal is a joke. Missing a day of class or clinical even if you or family is in the hospital is not allowed. I can not understand how anyone can be so cold hearted."

"I don't know what to say, after several months graduated, Im still in shock. Do they not get that the student comes first. Honestly, this school is cold!! They bully there student create added stress on a already stressful time bottom line is retaining funding. The instructors are Top notch but intention is very. damaging to many. There are so many underlying dynamics here, I wouldn't know where to begin. definitely NOT worth the stress!! !"

"TERRIBLE!!!! That's all I have to say. This school does not want it's students to pass. You pay a fortune and get NOTHING. Worst mistake I ever made. They offer ebooks which is ridiculous for as much self learning and reading you have to do, they give cheap equipment that breaks and they expect you to pretty much learn on your own and hopefully the tests will have information that you have Cortes on it... Do your self a favor and don't go to this school!!'"

"This school was the worst mistake I have get made. There is truth to all the student reviews you read, just wish I would have listened to them. Don't make a mistake and enroll st this school. Stick with state or community colleges. Much better programs and more affordable!"

"This schools is AWFUL!!!!!! You pay a whole bunch of money to self learn and students are set up for failure. Stick with a community or State college, this University was the biggest mistake I have ever made. Hopefully, if your reading this you decide to do the right thing and stay away from this school."

"As I read all these great reviews on this school. All I could say lies, lies, lies. This has truly been the worst, money hungry school that I have ever attended. The school is very hard to pass. A low pass rate to even make it through the year program. The instructor will fail you with a 75.6 grade. As if its about making you retake the whole class for just less than a half of period. These people are not looking at the time nor money that you have invested in this program. As if they couldn't give you an extra assignment to help you to get a half of a point. Trust and believe. Do not waste your time or money."

"I had a great time with the group that i went through the program with and had a great group of instructors that truly shaped me as a nurse. It was a great challenge to go through a program that was continually making changes and seemed to know now what was going on. This made for a difficult transition through semesters made me feel as though we were a test class while they figured things out."

"The program and staff was very unorganized. I felt like i never knew what was going to happen and we were informed of information at the very last minute. I felt that some of the staff was very unprofessional and didn't really care to help students. I would not recommend this school."

"Great experience. Great faculty. After already 4 years of school before entering this program, I was ready to jump into nursing school and start my career. Classes were small with a great teacher to student ratio, and everyone was very helpful. I would recommend this nursing school."

"I loved the small class size and how much individual attention we received, The clinical sites were wonderful and the small clinical sizes were great. I am so grateful that our books and scrubs were included in our fees for school so I didn't have to purchase much for school."

"I attended Herzing University Birmingham campus. This was one of the worst experience that I have ever had in my life including servicing in the armed forces. You pay all this money to go for a bridge program from lpn to rn. Information Literacy instructor was so nice and really want everyone to pass but pharmacy class was extremely hard to pass. Maybe 20 students passed the class. I don't understand why the school don't realize there is a problem with their program because I looked at other Herzing University Nursing Program and the reviews are the same. I have to pay all this student loan money back . My recommendation as a veteran and as a LPN don't attend Herzing.Use your GI Bill at a different school so you want lose your money."

"Where to begin. Started with 47 students. Half of student failed Advanced Pharmacology course. So, You don't move on until you repeat the class. The school charges double the amount that you would pay if you went to a community college. Plus if you fail a course. More money to repeat. It mess with your mind because you spend all your time on 1 class that is made so difficult to pass. I regard wasting my time and money there. I do not recommend this nursing program. I was warned before I took it and I waa told the same thing. I had to see for myself. The person was absolutely correct."

"I can tell you that our nursing class started with approximately 55 students. In the end only a few graduated. If you want to make this school nervous, ask them of the students that start the nursing course, what percentage graduate? It is dismal. The program is extremely hard and only a few of us made it all the way through. I was one of them. I would not recommend this school to anyone. If I had it to do over again, I would not attend Herzing University in Orlando (Winter Park, FL). Please do not go to this school. It is a horrible experience. I do not know anyone in my class that would recommend this school to anyone. Please take this warning. Find another option. You will be sorry if you go to Herzing, even if you make it all the way through."

"I went to the Orlando campus. The program was tough, but extremely DOABLE. I completed the entire program without repeating a semester and had some amazing professors along the way, including some of them who became professional references as well as mentors I go to still for questions. I graduated with my ASN 12/21/2016 and took NCLEX and became a RN on 2/10/17. I don't think I would have passed in 75 questions on the first try if this wasn't a school that doesn't prepare you for success. What I don't think people realize is that this an ACCELERATED program with 8 week semester. I believe the school gets bad reviews is because people do not realize that this requires dedication, time management, and flexibility. All of these requirements are ALSO involved in healthcare. If you're not prepared for that then it's not the right career path for you. I had a great experience through Herzing. Sure, the school has some ups and down just like any other, but the professors who are in the nursing program are amazing. To anyone that is thinking about going to the Orlando campus, I'd recommend it. Just focus and you will be fine."
