"Please do yourself a favor and stay far far away from this school. It might seem like the easy option to start your nursing career but your life will turn upside down. Herzing ruins lives. I have zero idea how I graduated from this program and made it out alive to take my NCLEX. First of all, the system/curriculum is always changing so no one really knows what rules or policies to follow. They fail students on purpose to make a profit. You can be getting a A+ in this class but they use Kaplan and now HESI, which can easily change your grade to an F. Oh yeah and don't even bother appealing. I was in the accelerated BSN program and after failing one class, they kicked me down to the LPN program, JUST so they can still make money. Nothing about this school makes sense. This is a for-profit school and all they care about is money and nothing else. They can't even keep their deans. Stay away from this garbage school"

"this is by far the worst school that i have ever been to, do not ever think about going to this university, waste of time and money, plus a headache for free. the administrative staff might as well not even be there and all that they want is your money, you are just another paying customer to them."

"They are horrible I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone. It’s overpriced. Unorganized. You will spend hours on realize it assignments the professors just read PowerPoints, my lab instructor was very intimidating and mean. I drop out by the due and I was told I would not be charge and they still charge me… they will tell you everything you want to hear to enroll but when you have a concer or complain they wi I’ll be very mean to you. My advice is dont do it"

"I took the plunge into becoming an RN after being an LPN for 22 years. This program was awful and very expensive. How can you learn during a COVID year being on ZOOM sessions? You can't but they sure take your money if you fail the class. Then the last 8 weeks of the program, they change from Kaplan to Hesi. Big difference between the two. Kaplan is better at preparing you for the NCLEX-RN, Hesi is a joke. Sure you graduate and they want you to take the boards within 30 days with your "coach". That was also a joke, I e-mailed and sent test messages for help with no avail, when they did finally contact me they wanted me to spend more money which I could not, so I ended up with 3 weeks to study for the exam on my own and failed. I'm now rescheduled to retake the NCLEX and thank goddness to family, bought me some programs to review by. I've been an LPN and an RRT for 22 yrs and found this entire program and in all honesty, needs to be stopped. I've wasted way to much money that I've got to pay back for almost no education. Please do not go to this program, they talk a good game to get you in but once in your nothing but a number."

"This school is a joke they prey on the desperate and vulnerable. Once they got you in you will not get the same effort they put into getting you trapped they will make every excuse to blame you vs taking any accountability for their teachers who do not have teaching degrees they are nurses out of hospital so their approach is horrible. They will keep you failing trying to get more money every term. They will then offer you a lesser program lpn to make more money off of you and then say bridge to Rn they will keep this going as long as you allow. Don’t miss one day because of you fail a test weeks later they will bring it up and say well you were 5mins late or you had attendance problems and again this is from one day they’ll try to find anything other than take a look at the program itself. Once you sign you are at they mercy teacher change grades and add points to their favorite students to keep them progressing it’s an entire joke. But if you’re desperate not to be on a wait list and get right to it they’ll use that to prey on you. They sound like car salesmen. Run just find another route please. I wish I had been warned I was but it was already too late semesters in. I wish I could give no stars but you have to at least select one don’t be fooled by it."

"I graduated in 2017 from the ADN program, after finishing school and unsuccessfully not passing my nursing boards at the first time, I was really upset and mad at my self after 6 months of trying to study on my own and get the courage to take them again. I received an email from the President of the University Madison Campus asking if I was interested in getting help on preparing for my boards which that was amazing. I had never heard of any other school that would do that for any student. I received help from various instructors Professor Ruiz, Professor Lange, Dr Lyles, and they even connected me with a wonderful life coach Deb. Every one of them gave me the courage and the strength to believe in myself and face the biggest exam and be successful. After working with Herzing for a year and making sure I achieved the green light, I was successful this time and PASSED my boards! Everything was because Herzing never gave up on me and they never let me give up on myself. Thank you Jo K RN"

"DON’T believe any of the Positive reviews you see here! This school is a rip off. Professor Ruiz is the worst Nursing Professor ever. More than half of the students in her class are failing and she does not seem to care. She does not care about the students. She does not make her PowerPoints and she barely lecture. She send you the PowerPoints and you’re on your own. If she does not like you, she will not help you. Don’t even waste your time or money. Go to another school!"

"I recently left Herzing and honestly, the nursing program is so disorganized. I felt as if they wanted you to fail. The midterm and final tests were the worst. I feel like they dont prepare you to continue on with the program. Their nursing program wall of graduates were about 10 students. That should tell you something. Paying so much for the school and the ending results became so disappointing. I think they need to change the program completely. I met a lot of great people there and more than half my class dropped out or either failed the term. The program makes it unreal to pass and move forward."

"This school is a waste of money. Lord forbid if you or a family member gets terminally ill. The school has no exceptions and trying to appeal is a joke. Missing a day of class or clinical even if you or family is in the hospital is not allowed. I can not understand how anyone can be so cold hearted."

"I don't know what to say, after several months graduated, Im still in shock. Do they not get that the student comes first. Honestly, this school is cold!! They bully there student create added stress on a already stressful time bottom line is retaining funding. The instructors are Top notch but intention is very. damaging to many. There are so many underlying dynamics here, I wouldn't know where to begin. definitely NOT worth the stress!! !"

"TERRIBLE!!!! That's all I have to say. This school does not want it's students to pass. You pay a fortune and get NOTHING. Worst mistake I ever made. They offer ebooks which is ridiculous for as much self learning and reading you have to do, they give cheap equipment that breaks and they expect you to pretty much learn on your own and hopefully the tests will have information that you have Cortes on it... Do your self a favor and don't go to this school!!'"

"As I read all these great reviews on this school. All I could say lies, lies, lies. This has truly been the worst, money hungry school that I have ever attended. The school is very hard to pass. A low pass rate to even make it through the year program. The instructor will fail you with a 75.6 grade. As if its about making you retake the whole class for just less than a half of period. These people are not looking at the time nor money that you have invested in this program. As if they couldn't give you an extra assignment to help you to get a half of a point. Trust and believe. Do not waste your time or money."

"I had a great time with the group that i went through the program with and had a great group of instructors that truly shaped me as a nurse. It was a great challenge to go through a program that was continually making changes and seemed to know now what was going on. This made for a difficult transition through semesters made me feel as though we were a test class while they figured things out."

"Great experience. Great faculty. After already 4 years of school before entering this program, I was ready to jump into nursing school and start my career. Classes were small with a great teacher to student ratio, and everyone was very helpful. I would recommend this nursing school."

"I loved the small class size and how much individual attention we received, The clinical sites were wonderful and the small clinical sizes were great. I am so grateful that our books and scrubs were included in our fees for school so I didn't have to purchase much for school."
