Herzing University Reviews of Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration

"There are plenty of reviews with people complaining. You have to filter out "the lazy" and that they are just making excuses, compared to those that actually did the work, but still failed. Let me give you a straightforward review. If you are looking to just pass and get a piece of paper (a degree) this may be your school. What do I mean by that? I started Herzing in 2016 for Health Information Management. I was told that their 8 week classes are great! In reality, there are really 7 weeks. As I took the classes during all of 2017, all of 2018 and most of 2019, I was feeling good that the classes were only 7 weeks. Great for working professionals, right!? Boy was I wrong! It will catch up with you! When you attend college, you want an education - not just a piece of paper (maybe you do). When you get to your midpoint or to the end, with Herzing University, you may very well get that degree but you may not LEARNED A THING! There are other online Universities that have longer weeks for each class. Go that route! I have done both. Instead of things being pushed down your throat, you have the time to actually read the material, study, research and learn! Herzing appears to be doing the education industry an injustice and society an injustice when they rush students through, which appears to be so they can prove their graduation rates. I much rather feel that I actually received an education instead of just a degree at the end of the program! The Instructors are hit or miss just like any other University. Most are respected and give you fair grades for effort. So the people on here who just complain or have excuses, probably deserve what they got. If you dedicate the time - you'll do fine. But buyer beware! You may feel like you get rushed through and you may think you'll be enjoying the 7 week courses, but in the end you would have learned NOTHING! What does that mean for you in the long run?? Liability for you and your future employer. Take the time and think about your choice. You may take the faster road, but your much better off focusing in on quality rather than quantity. So why listen to me and my review? After nearly 3 full years at Herzing - I would rather start over again than continue with poor education practices. Herzing University appears to fails society with their education practices and their students."

"I am a return student to Herzing. I attend all of my classes online. I have great interactions between myself, the students, and the faculty members. The campus is close to home and all the staff there have been wonderful! Going to this college is well worth the tuition."

"Herzing faculty and admission staff, were very supportive, in all aspect of the word, from making me taking the right classes, on campus and on-line support. The financial department made it, a easy transition to be able to take classes on time and meet my payment on time. The program of my choice Bachelor of Science In Health Care Management, makes me marketable, for many job option, and prepared me for real world job satisfaction. Herzing was not my first choice, but I highly recommend it to be yours, as it prepared me for a fulfilling career. I hope to transition to graduate school, as I pursue a Master Degree, in my same choice of career, Herzing is my number school of choice, for higher education!"

"The staff at Herzing University are very friendly and take genuine interest in each of the students. The professors make sure the students have everything needed to succeed in the courses. With the online courses the professors are very interactive with the students and they are easy to get in touch with when help is needed."

"As a full time working adult, Herzing University was the perfect choice for my HIM degree. With their accredited RHIA program, I was able to go to school full time (online) while working a full time job. After graduation, I was eligible to sit for my RHIA exam, and passed with a high score. I love the faculty and their willingness to help me when necessary. I also enjoyed the interaction I had with my classmates through the virtual classroom environment. All in all, Herzing University made my career goals a reality. I went from an administrative assistant (while in school) to a medical records supervisor (after graduation.) I will always be proud of earning my degree at Herzing!"
