Herzing University Reviews - Bachelor's in Nursing
Herzing was a great school choice for me, I am a older student and the small class sizes were a great fit for me also the staff was helpful. My class mates were also very willing to help me when I was i need. I would recommend herzing to anyone that is looking for a great school.
The nursing program at Herzing has been a great learning experience, all the professors are experts in what they teach! I loved coming to class and enjoyed the very educational clinical experiences! I recommend this school to those of you pursuing their BSN
It had it's up and downs but the professors are there for you every step of the way if you need them and follow their directions. Follow the syllabus as if it was the bible. Everything you need is in there and if you need clarification, the professors are there for you!
Staff is great! Everyone in financial aid and admissions was very helpful. The administrative staff was amazing always finding ways to fix things around the campus. The instructors some were amazing, the others were good. But overall, it was a good program.
Wonderful service, loved how they had all my classes set up and ready to go. All I had to do was sign into the computer and I was ready to go. Tuition was handled by faculty and classes were already in place. Made it extremely easy for me to complete my RN-BSN extremely easily!
I felt possible at Herzing. The instructors were helpful, encouraging and insightful. The student labs were a big plus and helpful to my success. I enjoyed being able to network with my classmates as well as learn from their experiences. The classes were challenging and the instructors pushed us to think beyond the box, for this I was able to use the knowledge acquired in my everyday practices.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. My instructors have been knowledgeable, courteous, and kind. My classmates have been extremely supportive and helpful. I loved the fact that out class sizes were so small as it allowed the faculty to be fully engaged with us.
I am currently in 6/8 nursing semester with Herzing University. When I first went to get information on the program they made it seem as if the schedules were put together months in advance and we as students would have plenty of prior notice about our next semester schedules. We get our schedules and clinical location sites maybe 1-2 weeks prior to the next term starting. As a single mother this is very inconsiderate, I have my child and daycare that I have to hope has availability on the days I need. The nursing program itself is extremely unorganized. I don't feel as though I am actually being challenged in lecture or in majority of our clinical sites. The only positive aspect is that this school offers fast enrollment. I met with a guidance officer mid December and by January I was enrolled to begin classes.
To be honest I don't have an opinion on Herzing because I have only attended it for about a month. So far I have had a good experience beside the miss communication between admission in the beginning. Since then I haven't had trouble with anything. I am keeping an open mind about this school because I had heard good and bad reviews.
I love that my classes are small. I know most of my professors on a first name basis and feel comfortable asking them anything. it is also very nice that they have all been, or still are nurses in the field. This holds so much merit because they can not only teach from a book, but also teach from experience. My clinical experience has been great and each clinical instructor helps me build my knowledge base just a little bit more. They have all been exceptional.
