"Be careful - the online program appears to be a scam. An admissions advisor made and appoint with me to talk on the phone. She called 10 minutes late but was able to answer all my questions. She said she’d send me some application steps and would call me the next day at 2pm. I started to apply, but it would not let me select the Nov 25th start date she was pushing on the phone, nor would it let me select the early Jan start date - the earliest start date it showed me was 6 months out. So I stopped the application before signing the enrollment contract with the dates that contradicted what I was told. I sent and email and left two messages and no one returned my cal - it’s Thursday and this woman said I could start Monday but she won’t return my call? And even sketchier - EVERY number I can find online for Herzing (to include the main contact us number and the number for the campuses) rings to this woman. And you get her voicemail. And she never calls back. And, she sent me a form to have my transcripts sent - the school said the fax number on the form doesn’t work. The woman sounded disappointed that I did want to fill out the FASFA info on her link, which now makes me think she was just fishing for my personal info and since I’m not giving it, she’s moved on to scamming someone else. Be careful."

"Worst school ever and signed up for the 10 month Medical assistant program and got screwed. Not literally, but a figuratively the school said if I do two classes I can then move on to the medical assistant program. Also, I passed the two classes and was waiting for them to move me on to the medical assistant part, but they never enrolled me. I had to call them and remind them to set up my classes and then the they put me into a two year class. I signed up for the 10 month program and I called them and they said oh, that is part time and that is not what I wanted. Additionally, they set up my classes was in there for three weeks and then the all of sudden they withdraw me from the program. Because I forgot one paper and they try to scam people on your financial aid by claiming that I'm living on campus when I was in a different state doing everything online."

"I am a online herzing university student who majoring in medical assistant and I am in the process of founding a clinical site its a great school and i love it and i almost finish im just trying to make sure i have a clinical site and can do internship if you dont want to look for your own clinical and internship site then this not the school for you"

"It was a really good program. Teachers was very understanding and helpful. As i started the program I was a little nervous. I didnt know what to expect. The online teachers was very help with anything I needed or didnt understand. I am so glad that I went to herzing university."

"I think that this program was a great on-line program for anyone that already has a medical background and would like a fast pace environment for learning. It was a great way to be able to finish school in a timely manner without the classroom time and driving."

"I started taking online courses for the Medical Assistant Course and I still have no degree due to no clinic will take me for my clinical externship due to Herzigova being out of state school. I have taken the same classes over to push back graduation I can no longer do it . So I pay for nothing unfair."
