"I am a current student at Herzing University and graduate this December. I have been very satisfied with this program and have been surprised to see some of the negative reviews. I’ve done some researching and noticed that Herzing does have a high number of students who qualify to get into the various nursing programs. However, with such high open enrollment, there will be more students who are not prepared, or willing to do the work to be successful. Rather, they like to blame the school rather than themselves and their own ability to be successful. Herzing University is a solid school who gives all the resources a student who is self-motivated and hard-working needs to be successful. I am an instructor myself and have seen good and bad teaching. Herzing is for adult learners, who are self motivated and have good time management skills. Some students are simply lacking in one or both of these areas and like to blame the school for not making it “easy”. I feel very well prepared for my certification, exam and well, supported by the instructors and advisors at Herzing University. If you are a student who is motivated and ready to take on the challenge of a graduate nursing degree then you will not be dissatisfied at Herzing University. .if you are looking for a university that allows you to turn in work late and turn in low quality work then you will not do well at this school. it’s a filtering process and those who make it to the end of their programs are those who have put in the necessary time and effort. Beware of bad reviews from disgruntled students. I’ve had many bad teachers in my day but I knew how to work and get the grade anyway. Failing a program is more about the student than the program."

"From the student advisors through enrollment to financial aid and class work, the work through was awesome. I learnt about Telehealth 5+ years from this school ahead of it coming into play. I am back in 2021 for some more ~ my PMHNP certification. Great 😇 job HU!!!!!!"

"I've attended Herzing on-line for 3 semesters now. I have straight A's. When on-line, you have to know that 98% of passing is on you as a student. You have to read. You have to watch the videos. You have to research and you have to write your papers. Personally, I love the hands-off approach that I've gotten so far. If a professor questions something, they let me know and most often will allow you to edit something. I, so far, have had no complaints and multiple professors who have been most helpful when needed. The syllabus is usually perfectly clear about expectations and every assignment has a rubric, which if you follow, you really can't mess up. So far, I've had a great experience."

"I have been in the program since 2015. I am on my final year of schooling and about to graduate here in the fall. Let me tell you that the comments about how ridiculous this school is, are not true. It is online learning, you do get support from your staff, writing centers, tutors, etc. But, you have to remember it is ONLINE learning and you have to be really motivated to get the work done. It is a GRADUATE program and the work will more intense. It is not like a BSN program. Think of it as a ASN program but on steroids. I am glad I chose this school and have learned so much."

"This school has major communication problems. They email you and tell you things but when you try to respond back they don't answer you for days. Then when you try to call to handle matters they don't answer your calls. It is ridiculous!! When they want something done, its a rush and when you try to get the situation resolved with one faculty member another faculty member is contacting you for the same thing you are trying to handle with the first. I would not attend this school again just for these reasons. Communication is key!"
