"I went to the Orlando campus. The program was tough, but extremely DOABLE. I completed the entire program without repeating a semester and had some amazing professors along the way, including some of them who became professional references as well as mentors I go to still for questions. I graduated with my ASN 12/21/2016 and took NCLEX and became a RN on 2/10/17. I don't think I would have passed in 75 questions on the first try if this wasn't a school that doesn't prepare you for success. What I don't think people realize is that this an ACCELERATED program with 8 week semester. I believe the school gets bad reviews is because people do not realize that this requires dedication, time management, and flexibility. All of these requirements are ALSO involved in healthcare. If you're not prepared for that then it's not the right career path for you. I had a great experience through Herzing. Sure, the school has some ups and down just like any other, but the professors who are in the nursing program are amazing. To anyone that is thinking about going to the Orlando campus, I'd recommend it. Just focus and you will be fine."

"I loved the teachers at the Akron, Ohio campus. They were very helpful and informative on the material to prepare me to becoming a nurse. Although the tuition is more than the community college the support by far outweighs what I have seen in other schools. I would recommend this school to anyone interested in becoming a nurse. They help prepare you for the career and the NCLEX."

Graduation Year: 2019
"I am a former student. After looking into a couple of colleges i found this small college in ohio. Everything started out nicely until the second semester. The courses suck. None of your credits can be transferred!!! Half the staff sucks! I owe them money because they give you back to back semester without a break and finial aid can not keep up. Their financial aid people are total d*** ****s. This was my worst experience. All they care about is money. STAY CLEAR OF THEM. On top of that i paid to sit in class on campus just to be on the computer with no actual teacher teaching me, i barely learned anything,"

"I started taking online courses for the Medical Assistant Course and I still have no degree due to no clinic will take me for my clinical externship due to Herzigova being out of state school. I have taken the same classes over to push back graduation I can no longer do it . So I pay for nothing unfair."

"I attended Herzing and earned 44 credits towards my criminal justice degree. Although pricey, I decided to re enroll in classes starting May 1st. I get contacted by an admissions advisor stating that I would have to change my degree without notice. I graduate next year, and they want me to go for my bachelors degree which cost more and will push my graduation back five years. I'm doing what's best for me, but it's all about the money for them. This is not fair because I didn't receive notice, and I'm close to graduating. The advisor then stated that if I want to continue with my associates, then I would have to get a letter from my job stating that if I earned my associates I will not have to take the compass test. Why would any school need a letter from your job? I shouldn't have to go through this for an education. I think I will tell them where they can shove those credits and find another school."

"The nursing program at the time I was going 2011-2012 was not structured effectively. The goal and structure of a nursing program should not only provide you guidance and appropriate resources (coloring the anatomy isn't adult aged appropriate) to pass, but further prepare students to pass NCLEX! Too many changes of faculty and inexperienced teachers, teaching a brand new program. Not worth the money. Education is supposed to be an investment. I'm having a more positive learning experience at the community college that is challenging and evolving my critical thinking skills needed to be a nurse, while preparing me to pass NCLEX with success! I'm so glad I listened to my gut...it felt like a scam!"

Graduation Year: 2017
"This school has major communication problems. They email you and tell you things but when you try to respond back they don't answer you for days. Then when you try to call to handle matters they don't answer your calls. It is ridiculous!! When they want something done, its a rush and when you try to get the situation resolved with one faculty member another faculty member is contacting you for the same thing you are trying to handle with the first. I would not attend this school again just for these reasons. Communication is key!"

"Being a single mother of 3, working full time, and the first person in my family to achieved a college degree, I can never thank Herzing University Online enough. Herzing gives me the flexibility to attend classes online and work around my full schedule. Now I am returning back to work towards my BA and after that my Master. I highly recommend Herzing University for everyone who is interested in achieving a career for themselves and can not attend classes on campus. You will not be disappointed. Thank you, Herzing University Online!"

Degree: Graphic Design
Graduation Year: 2012
"Avoid this university. Herzing university is a rip off. The graphic design program was terrible and their other programs are likely the same. The graphic design course description is a total lie. All I really learned was how to use Photoshop, nothing that they promised I would be able to do. Their web design classes were mostly written assignments that taught you nothing about website design. No classes for multimedia, TV, and film design were even offered. The courses are poorly organized and most of the instructors were no help. A lot of the lectures did not even follow the assignments and discussions for the week. I cannot get a job in the graphic design field because I do not have the necessary skills required. All I got from this university was student loan debt."

"I agree with the internship situation. PLEASE, anyone reading this, do not go to Herzing for Health Information Management. They do not assist in your internship search, and the local health organizations will not recognize the school. If you do not find a internship site. They will continue to push back your graduation date. I have basically completed all my required courses, but still need the internship. I was supposed to graduate a YEAR ago. I blame AHMIA just as much as Herzing. They are the accrediting body for these schools, and should not be approving any schools without internship possibilities. YOU would not believe how many people aren't graduating because of their internship. You have been warned, and I'm already in the process of contacting AHIMA. People need to speak up. They try to suppress students getting together about this issue. Especially, in their ludicrous HIM preparation class. I wonder why???"
