Herzing University Reviews

I loved the small class size and how much individual attention we received, The clinical sites were wonderful and the small clinical sizes were great. I am so grateful that our books and scrubs were included in our fees for school so I didn't have to purchase much for school.
Herzing University's associate degree of nursing program is a great program that provides a lot of flexibility for working individuals. This program allowed me to continue working my full time job while also focusing on my goal of finishing nursing school.
Please save your money this school is only out to get just that! Majority of the professors know that this school is turning into a all nursing school and are switching a lot of their programs to online with no warning so they really don't provide all the essentials for these students. As well as the curriculum is unstructured and not very informative in the directions for assignments. A lot of students told me not to attend this school i wish i would have listened!
I loved the small classes and how the teachers helped and cared for the students. My only complaint is the teacher turn over was horrible. I even had a teacher quit halfway through the semester. But the teachers they hire that are on ground are wonderful. Online was good too but not my forte. I loved that u have that flexibility though.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. My instructors have been knowledgeable, courteous, and kind. My classmates have been extremely supportive and helpful. I loved the fact that out class sizes were so small as it allowed the faculty to be fully engaged with us.
Herzing University is an excellent college with exceptional staff dedicated to every student. I would recommend Herzing University to any person seeking a college degree! I would like to see the school grow and continue providing educational opportunities all over the country.
I am currently in 6/8 nursing semester with Herzing University. When I first went to get information on the program they made it seem as if the schedules were put together months in advance and we as students would have plenty of prior notice about our next semester schedules. We get our schedules and clinical location sites maybe 1-2 weeks prior to the next term starting. As a single mother this is very inconsiderate, I have my child and daycare that I have to hope has availability on the days I need. The nursing program itself is extremely unorganized. I don't feel as though I am actually being challenged in lecture or in majority of our clinical sites. The only positive aspect is that this school offers fast enrollment. I met with a guidance officer mid December and by January I was enrolled to begin classes.
Save your money and go to a public state university or technical school. The cost per semester is ridiculous with all things considered. There are many online programs now through state supported institutions, please heed my warning and do a thorough investigation of the school that you want to attend. The admissions team is very aggressive at Herzing, especially the online campus.
To be honest I don't have an opinion on Herzing because I have only attended it for about a month. So far I have had a good experience beside the miss communication between admission in the beginning. Since then I haven't had trouble with anything. I am keeping an open mind about this school because I had heard good and bad reviews.
I am an online student studying Insurance Billing and Coding. I am working toward a diploma and will complete the curriculum in 2017. The experience has been great! I am an adult learner, returning to school after 30+ years. The classes are challenging, insightful, and I am confident that when I finish, Herzing will be there to help me find employment in my field. The network of information available online is incredible.
