"Please do yourself a favor and stay far far away from this school. It might seem like the easy option to start your nursing career but your life will turn upside down. Herzing ruins lives. I have zero idea how I graduated from this program and made it out alive to take my NCLEX. First of all, the system/curriculum is always changing so no one really knows what rules or policies to follow. They fail students on purpose to make a profit. You can be getting a A+ in this class but they use Kaplan and now HESI, which can easily change your grade to an F. Oh yeah and don't even bother appealing. I was in the accelerated BSN program and after failing one class, they kicked me down to the LPN program, JUST so they can still make money. Nothing about this school makes sense. This is a for-profit school and all they care about is money and nothing else. They can't even keep their deans. Stay away from this garbage school"

"this is by far the worst school that i have ever been to, do not ever think about going to this university, waste of time and money, plus a headache for free. the administrative staff might as well not even be there and all that they want is your money, you are just another paying customer to them."

"My experience at Herzing School of Nursing has been amazing- starting with my recruiter, Marice. He was very knowledgeable of the program and really persuaded me this college was a great option. My enrollment coordinator, Javier reached out to me several times during admissions, and even checked on me when I was in the hospital having a procedure during my first week of classes! My advisor, Sam, has always helped direct me and has amazing communication skills and work ethic. My clinical advisor, Sonia has been a life-saver and literally has gone above and beyond her duties for me. Even my financial aid advisor, Daphne, has been top notch! I know them all by name, and they make me feel as if they remember me, as well. I have loved all my instructors and maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout the entire FNP program. I have no regrets in choosing this program, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking to advance in their profession."

"They are horrible I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone. It’s overpriced. Unorganized. You will spend hours on realize it assignments the professors just read PowerPoints, my lab instructor was very intimidating and mean. I drop out by the due and I was told I would not be charge and they still charge me… they will tell you everything you want to hear to enroll but when you have a concer or complain they wi I’ll be very mean to you. My advice is dont do it"

"Where do I start. This school is by far disheartening. I thought that I was going to receive the education and skills needed to be a successful nurse, however I can’t tell you 1 thing I’ve learned here. I honestly think they delete Google reviews. The instruction/curriculum is very poor to put it nicely. You’re pretty much being sent out into the world with a YouTube and RealizeIt education to care for people. You contact the proper channels and no one responds. They are extremely rude and instead will blame you for their failed program. Some of us are stuck here because of the money that we’ve already invested. We can’t afford to pay somewhere else at this point. Before anyone enrolls at Herzing Tampa, PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! do your research. Go somewhere else."

"This school is taking financial aid for courses that I did not ask for. I sent in a written request for them not to but yet instead it was still done and the only response I got was you can go back and do the course work and turn it in for a grade before the semester ends. I asked to drop the course before it was taken because I have a credit for it they refused to and still took financial aid out. They do not prepare you for anything and they do not have any curriculums that you can join such as a sorority or anything in the community. The price for the school is just as much as you would pay to be at a four year college. I would suggest going to a state college or major college but definitely not here. I have to continue only because I have already submitted my application for law school and I need the course to show on my transcript and I do not need my gpa to fall. They are very bad with communication."

"I took the plunge into becoming an RN after being an LPN for 22 years. This program was awful and very expensive. How can you learn during a COVID year being on ZOOM sessions? You can't but they sure take your money if you fail the class. Then the last 8 weeks of the program, they change from Kaplan to Hesi. Big difference between the two. Kaplan is better at preparing you for the NCLEX-RN, Hesi is a joke. Sure you graduate and they want you to take the boards within 30 days with your "coach". That was also a joke, I e-mailed and sent test messages for help with no avail, when they did finally contact me they wanted me to spend more money which I could not, so I ended up with 3 weeks to study for the exam on my own and failed. I'm now rescheduled to retake the NCLEX and thank goddness to family, bought me some programs to review by. I've been an LPN and an RRT for 22 yrs and found this entire program and in all honesty, needs to be stopped. I've wasted way to much money that I've got to pay back for almost no education. Please do not go to this program, they talk a good game to get you in but once in your nothing but a number."

"Really regret choosing this school! Do your research and read the reviews! This school is so unprofessional! It seems like they found their teachers wandering around outside. I've learned nothing the entire time I've been here. Everyone was so nice and helpful when I was signing up for this trap, but now that I started the program, they're rude and useless. As soon as you start classes the tuition will increase. So, just pay the extra money and choose a better school! Talk to current students if you can get an honest opinion of the school. I never leave reviews, but I want people to know my experience before signing up."

"This is a self-study college. If you can't pass or be prepared for exams, boards, clinicals, or your career, it is certainly not the fault of this school. They provide all the tools necessary to be successful. The teachers are very diligent and encouraging, admissions was a cake walk and the online education is excellent. I am saving thousands of dollars going to Herzing University, online PMHNP. There are plenty of tutors available if needed, an online library and database or research, and financial aid is ample. I have recommended this school to everyone needing a flexible college degree path. I have a 4.0 GPA while working full-time as an RN, taking full-time classes, and raising 4 kids. If I can do it successfully, everyone else has the opportunity to do so as well."

"This school does nothing to prepare you for exams or real world application of skills. This school is money hungry and doesn’t care about you or your success. They charge over double the price as comparable schools in the area. If you choose Herzing, be prepared to look like an idiot during your externship. You will also have to teach yourself everything needed for exams, as they will not so much as point you in the right direction. Going to Herzing is the biggest regret of my life."

"I am a current student at Herzing University and graduate this December. I have been very satisfied with this program and have been surprised to see some of the negative reviews. I’ve done some researching and noticed that Herzing does have a high number of students who qualify to get into the various nursing programs. However, with such high open enrollment, there will be more students who are not prepared, or willing to do the work to be successful. Rather, they like to blame the school rather than themselves and their own ability to be successful. Herzing University is a solid school who gives all the resources a student who is self-motivated and hard-working needs to be successful. I am an instructor myself and have seen good and bad teaching. Herzing is for adult learners, who are self motivated and have good time management skills. Some students are simply lacking in one or both of these areas and like to blame the school for not making it “easy”. I feel very well prepared for my certification, exam and well, supported by the instructors and advisors at Herzing University. If you are a student who is motivated and ready to take on the challenge of a graduate nursing degree then you will not be dissatisfied at Herzing University. .if you are looking for a university that allows you to turn in work late and turn in low quality work then you will not do well at this school. it’s a filtering process and those who make it to the end of their programs are those who have put in the necessary time and effort. Beware of bad reviews from disgruntled students. I’ve had many bad teachers in my day but I knew how to work and get the grade anyway. Failing a program is more about the student than the program."

"@Orlando Campus. The teachers read from the PowerPoint slides. The school breached the testing contract by giving the HESI Exit Exam in order to fail students to get more money. The exam wasn't required for the program for Practical Nursing Diploma yet."

"This school is a joke they prey on the desperate and vulnerable. Once they got you in you will not get the same effort they put into getting you trapped they will make every excuse to blame you vs taking any accountability for their teachers who do not have teaching degrees they are nurses out of hospital so their approach is horrible. They will keep you failing trying to get more money every term. They will then offer you a lesser program lpn to make more money off of you and then say bridge to Rn they will keep this going as long as you allow. Don’t miss one day because of you fail a test weeks later they will bring it up and say well you were 5mins late or you had attendance problems and again this is from one day they’ll try to find anything other than take a look at the program itself. Once you sign you are at they mercy teacher change grades and add points to their favorite students to keep them progressing it’s an entire joke. But if you’re desperate not to be on a wait list and get right to it they’ll use that to prey on you. They sound like car salesmen. Run just find another route please. I wish I had been warned I was but it was already too late semesters in. I wish I could give no stars but you have to at least select one don’t be fooled by it."

"Many programs are online. The instructors guide the must knows. You get all the materials you need to self study and have resources and instructors when you need help. Ignore the idiot that said they were suing, they will fail. This school easily meets the minimum requirements set by their accrediting agencies. I aimed for a 4.0 GPA to make sure I was taking out the necessary information for boards. I enjoy my instructors, some are better than others but finding good educators is difficult these days. There are not enough to go around. If you do the work they tell you to do you will get all the information on your boards. It's not Herzings job to do your studying."

"I am passing with zero concern, but I want to warn other students… you learn absolutely nothing here… you will not be prepared after graduation unless you are able to teach yourselves… the leadership would rather defend their program than improve it and a group of us are filing a compliant with each of our states against them… again we are all passing, but we are all teachers ourselves who feel that students deserve better!!!! Find a local college who cares about you!!!!"

"The kenosha location is terrible, don't waste your money. they will drain you off your money and throw you out. after you have completed the nursing requirements they give students F for not passing the predictor which is not require for nursing. the predictor only help students see how they will perform on nclex to get their license. they stop students from graduating because of the predictor and also messed the grade sheet up with F's good luck to people who choose to go to Herzing university. terrible school.. "This school is nothing short of a diploma mill. There is no consistency with grading, the curriculum is a generic program they purchased and is laden with countless grammatical errors. Lectures are 10-15-year-old YouTubes from random channels that oftentimes have nothing to do with healthcare, and they plagiarize published journals and books for assignment topics, passing these things off as their own without citations or recognition. It is appalling what goes on at this "university"."

"I would not recommend this school to anyone. Especially, for the Kenosha campus, the dean and other administrators always say they are there to help but they basically will tell you, you are on your own. For the Kenosha campus, I have only had one good professor and the others have been zero help. Please save your time and money and go to a better nursing program."

"I am a current student at the Kenosha Campus. I would not recommend this school to anyone. The teachers are good nurses but bad teaches. They do not teach you anything that on the tests you take so you study the wrong information an fail. They call students out in front of class and if you point out mistakes they dont care. You are paying all this money to learn nothing. I am looking into other schools because they do not care about you. They just want your money. Have you looked at the graduation rate. Its low and when you look at the rate of the school when applying for finical aid its low. They keep changing the program and not teaching the students right. Waste of money. I only went to this school since its 3 years instead of 4 but its not worth it"
