Howard University Reviews
Attending Howard was one of the greatest experience of my life. From schoolmates to Professors the networking reach is bar none. I feel pride to be amongst Howardites, the shared experience and strength gives me pride. Howard taught me to be proud of who I am, a Afro-Caribbean woman, love that I come from a long line of strong people. Howard taught me to love my history, my people, and ensure that I give back to this world more than I take from it. As much as I love Howard, it is not without fault, administration is an headache, but trust, if you can deal with the "A" building, there is nothing you cannot deal with. I have learned resisliencey and to never take no for an answer. Trust me, there is nothing a Howard woman cannot do.
Although I majored in a concentration writing, the Division of Fine Arts, my matriculation was well rounded with the diverse options I had in my general education courses. With a minor in Journalism, I quickly learned how great of a city D.C. is for any aspiring writer, reporter AND performing artist.
The school academically was great. The teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. Campus life was fun and off campus life was a great experience as well. Definitely would recommend this school. The diversity was a definite plus and also living in DC with all the employment opportunities another plus.
It was a very pleasant experience, in which you can acquire new knowledge to meet people Although sometimes I find it hard some things because while he worked, but for me it was very good and excellent teachers
I highly recommend attending Howard University or another HBCU to receive a multi-cultural educational experience.
