Degree: Medical Administrative/Executive Assistant and Medical Secretary
Graduation Year: 2017

This company is not livable, they use outdated course materials, and than have fun obtaining your transcript information, they lie to you about having everything sent out, but if a customer service person cant do something g they willl just wait that they already did, until you receive nothing and start wondering where did the mail go, when you call again record dont even show a conversation, time and time again. Would never recommend to anyone!

Not impressed with the Apollo and the fact we have to retake these if we are below the average. Even though my overall course average was 93 I ended up with 85 however because I did not get the 65 I needed in the exam I had to retake the exams. There is a great deal of content in fact I spend hours a weekend studying and honestly it is a lot of content for 48 hours or time allotted. I think they make it difficult to insure we have to re-write it and spend $5/ 5 hours for additional time. I wasted a lot of time on the Apollo and it really did not impact my average by a whole lot. Thanks

I feel this is a complete waste of money and time . First the materials are way behind the current college courses. To pay the full amount if you cannot complete you have to pay the full amount. That is just ripping people hard earned write off and that would that they dont really care if succeed they just want the bucks. I will never take a course from here again.

Degree: Medical Office Administration
Graduation Year: 2016

I took the medical administrative assistant course. I completed it in 10 months. I would highly recommend this course. I then got a job with the government and they did a background check and this school was an accredited school. I know make $27/hr. Benefits and all. Before you take a course, you should call a human resource department with a company you are interested in. That's what I did. I also took the Educational Assistant diploma but when I moved to Edmonton, their school board has an agreement with a college there that they will accept employees who take their program. It was frustrating and I had to register with that college in order to be employed with that school board.

For anyone taking this course. It is useful. IF you are going to START your OWN business. If you are looking at a career with it, you won't get anywhere. It is not recognized. Its not a waste of $$ in my eyes. I have learned alot. I plan to go into business for myself.

I loved taking my courses through ICS. Before you take the course - call a potential employer and ask if they accept it. I took the diploma and have also finished my high school.diploma. my current govt job did a background check and now I'm making $27.99/hr.

Degree: Paralegal
Graduation Year: 2012

I signed up with them thinking I would be able to go to court and pursue my career after paying $3000.00 for school , only to find out once I was done paying that the diploma wasn't accredited in Hamilton, Ontario which is Canada and on the website says it IS .They knew of this this but yet lied to me and probably thousands of more, if they were fair and a legit school they would have reimbursed us half at least of our tuition . Think this school is a rip off so i suggest actually going to the one that doesn't scam people and replies back when people send emails been years and I'm really upset due to this wrote emails and haven't heard anything back graduated 2012 and its 2017 and I cannot get a job in my field anywhere . Feel like all that time invested and money I LOST and could have had my career if i would have gone here to a local college , Just sad because none cares in regards to this just doesn't make any sense why this school is open still feel like I got robbed from my time and money. Please save you're money and time .

I do not recommend enrolling in ICS. I was not aware there was an expiry date on my course and was so disappointed to log on today to write an exam and find that I was no longer allowed. My "lesson plan" they have on the site outlined time frames for each course that took me up to the end of the year with no indications that the dates would not work. There was no email send to me to notify me that there was a time limit approaching so I assumed that the dates listed on my study were valid, especially since I was not finished with the payments. I had taken a through them in the 90s before they were with Penn Foster and it was much better. I had planned on taking a couple more courses through them but after this experience I will look at other correspondence courses that will allow me to do the courses on my time and not just state that in the advertisements.
