"Illinois Wesleyan offered an unforgettable experience that helped me grow into a socially aware, critical thinker. While my experience was amazing, it came at a hefty cost. Many IWU students are heavily involved in various activities and internships in the community. It has a great reputation for its pre-med, music, and theater programs."

"Illinois Wesleyan University was a great school to go to. The education you receive is truly life changing and the professors are always willing to help. With it being a smaller school, you are able to get the one on one attention that is so important when learning complicated material. Besides academics, the school environment and inclusion is great. I was in a sorority and loved how involved I could get. I also pursued music and was able to make close friends through this. Overall, this school provided me with an education that will help me for the rest of my life. This school has prepared me for graduate school and my professional career."

"My experience at Illinois Wesleyan University was one that exceeded my standards as an individual who wasn't entirely sure which path to choose. The university consists of a smaller campus and student body, allowing for a greater sense of community and individuality. I was able to forge strong bonds with my professors, and receive the individual attention I sought as a student to achieve my goals. The university allows for creative exploration, by providing a wide range of courses in various interests. Furthermore, it was easy to find clubs, activities, and associations that catered to my interests and allowed my to grow both inside and outside the classroom."

"Illinois Wesleyan University is a unique experience consisting of a rigorous academic schedule of a top tier university paired with the close knit community you would expect from a small school. If you do not feel comfortable at a large school but you wish to study a wide variety of subjects at a greater depth, this school may be right for you. The professors at this university take great pride in facilitating a memorable path of success for each student that walks through their door. Each student that comes out of this university is unique in comparison to other college graduates due to the focus of being a well rounded student, instead of a master of only one subject. For some, this can be a deterrent if the only focus of the student is to be say a mechanical engineer, but for many others, being a well rounded student significantly helps in the job market and graduate school fields. All in all, Illinois Wesleyan University promotes a realm of academia that will certainly benefit you in the future along with a size that promotes heavy professor to student contact."

"This University was a wonderful place to go to school for an undergraduate career. The campus is small, but not too small and one of the most beautiful places. Our quad is also an arboretum and our buildings have beauty and character. However, what makes this school amazing is not its sites, but rather its people. The professors, first, are amazing. They are here not only as a teacher but also as a friend, advisor, confidante, and networking connection. I've been able to have conversations with professors that go beyond classwork, to musical tastes and their own personal interests to discover what I can learn from them in other ways besides the traditional. The students, second, are some of the most incredible people that you'll meet. Wesleyan attracts some of the most interesting, creative, strange, yet wonderful people, not just for a small school but also in general. I've made friends for life, of current students and alumni."
