"This is probably the worst school you can ever attend online. Go to University of Phoenix, you're better off that way. IU doesn't care about students, or if they've gone through mental health crisis, all they care about is the money they get from the government. It's a sad school."

"This school is a really great school. I've gained so much from being in this school. I am proud to say that I am a IUGRAD!! I worked hard to succeed and with the resources that was offered I was able to do so. Everything was all explanatory. I want to thank everyone that has ever texted and call to keep me informed on how I was doing."

"I started attending Independence University in January 2016. I am now finishing my first week of my 5th mod. I love this school. I received my tablet quickly. I did run into some problems with it and had to contact IT Support. I found they are MUCH easier to contact through the live chat. That is instantly where as you have to wait for a call back by phone. I honestly haven't tried the email option since live chat worked. Anyways, I had to send my tablet in for repairs. They pay for the shipping labels. They checked out my tablet and it was defected so needed to be replaced. From the time I sent it to them and received a new one it took 5 days. I thought that was rather quick. Especially since I was assuming it would take at least 2 weeks. So far every class my teachers call me half way through the mod to let me know I am doing a great job and to keep it up. I also had dealt with a family personal issue and feared I would fall behind. I emailed both of my teachers ASAP letting them know I hadn't given up. Since I kept them informed they allowed me to turn in those assignments late without any deductions. No you do not receive a refund check because they use your grants and loans towards the whole tuition. They also make sure you are supplied with everything you need to succeed. All the software you will ever need for your ENTIRE degree is included. I think they have always been extremely friendly and I have no complaints as of now, and I don't see that changing. As I read through these comments I see so much negativity and I understand everyone has different experiences. I personally would recommend this school to anyone. If you can be self disciplined and determined then you can be a success through this school."

"I started at this school in October 2015, and so far I love it. It is hard work, but so is any college you go to. The instructors and school staff are very helpful. They are constantly there to help; which is great because there is a lot of work to do each week. I think it's a great school."

"I started March 2015. And graduate October 2016. First I have to say the instructors are amazing they help you every step of the way. Financial aid on the other hand can be better. Thankfully I've only had one issue and they weren't too helpful about it. I see many people believe that the laptop provided is free. WRONG. It clearly states in your enrollment paper work that it is only a gift when you graduate if you don't the laptop is to be returned in 30 days or you will be Charged. Other than that you have to be dedicated and determined it's a lot of work. I recommend this school to anyone with a full Schedule!"

"For the sake of your own future do not go to this school. My close relative enrolled and told me that it would be a great option for me. I enlisted and was waiting for my laptop to be sent in. I had no other way of accessing the student site without the laptop, which they were aware of. So...within the first two weeks I was cancelled and was told I would need to reapply for another year. The loan is $75000. Not including any receivable grant or financial aid. The laptop is just a gimic. And the rush for enrollment is unnecessary. Their degree options are limited. Luckily, my loan was cancelled and I don't owe any money to the school and have pursued interest in an overall better deal else where. Meanwhile my relative, who was dropped because he couldn't get help from his instructors, now owes the $75000 in full plus the laptop charge, and will not be able to reapply or pursue education elsewhere, due to financial costs no longer covered. Luckily I owe nothing. I found a more affordable option elsewhere and I just wanted to let anyone interested in this school to go the opposite way. Lol as far away as you can because if you aren't disappointed one way you will be in another. It sucks to know that all of these other people had unfortunate expreriences. It's upsetting to know that they will owe a lifetime of money to a school that never intentionally supported them in the get go. Do yourself a favour. And don't. Just no..."
