"Save your self the trouble, DON'T DO IT. They really just blow smoke up your ass. Sorry for the language but they are so full of shit. It will all sound good at first but it's not. Only time you'll hear from them is when they want to collect money. When you need help with school work they will NOT respond in a timely manner. This school is a rip off."

"Independence university is in excellent schools they offer great teachers. Each class is only 4 weeks long. Teachers are very informative which help you with your assignments. They offer tutoring if you need help. The staff is very helpful. I definitely recommend Independence University"

"The school did not help at all it takes weeks for anyone to get back to you on any questions you have regarding classes or courses or even coursework they are not willing to give an actual explanation of what you need or help you when you need it due to the different time zones they do not work with you on time zones even though it's supposed to be on your own time it is very restricted to when you can actually do the assignments and turn them in I would never recommend their school or ever go back to this school they really don't care about your education"

"So far, everything has been good , decent, and on time. Instructors are easy to get in touched with. It seem like everyone has their own experiences, and reading some of these reviews kind of got me scared to attend the classes. LOL. But I've noticed the instructors are easy to get in touched with , I have their personal numbers, and actually send them a text message when needed. So far, I haven't had any problems. Thankfully, I was approved quick, and waiting on my tablet and laptop."

"First I am a veteran and would recommend that no other member of the military ever even consider this institution. When the VA finally decided to do my knee surgery, I immediately contacted the school. The instructor became hostile and informed me that I was jeopardizing my degree that was equal to a Havard degree. Can you imagine? I called the president of Independence University and informed him what was said. He apologized, and admitted that this was not the truth. The next day the instructor called me and berated me for not keeping up in class. I informed him that I was not interested in his class any longer. Calling the president again, I requested the instructor no longer contact me for any reason or I would drop out, and it was agreed upon. The next day the instructor called and so I informed him I was dropping out. Period. Don't call back. Now I owe over 2,000 dollars, because I could not travel to wherever in the hell they wanted to sign the proper form to actually drop out. After over a year they finally accepted their worthless (used when I got it) laptop back, which they tried to charge me almost 1,700 dollars for."

"The faculty and staff are amazing. I never felt like I was alone. My instructors all stayed in touch by telephone and email through all my courses. The program was very good. The classes weren't easy, but almost all of them were relevant. It was a great choice for me."

"I truly loved this University. I earned my Associates in 2015 in Business Management with Retail sales. My Bachelors in Business Administration in 2017, and they gave me half off my tuition to earn my MBA (i will graduate in 2019). I attended the 2017 graduation in Salt Lake, and I loved it. It was in an old theater. They gave us food and drinks. I felt very special. They had music and I just thought it was a great ceremony. As for the teachers and staff, they are so helpful, and encouraged me to join joined Journalism Club, Business Club, and Student Advisory council. I am working hard to graduate with honors. If you are a full time mother, and full time worker this is the school for you. They have called to help me get a job, prepared me for interviews, and are always checking on me. I am proud to be an IU alumni!"

"After being at three other online schools I was amazed at the level of communication I received from teachers and staff. They clearly wanted to help me succeed. Although not perfect, they certainly do their best to stay in contact. The courses were challenging, the instructor interaction was great."

"I am currently attending this University and have had nothing but a great experience. I the education and the system that they provide it to you with is great. Every new class the information is set out before you and you can see what needs to be completed, Instructors are available for each class almost 24 hours a day, they have a great help system and I have been provided with every contact number and email if I need further help. Extremely happy Independence University and after attending for a while, agree that it is the best education decision I have ever made."
