"This program was an intense and fast paced education. I have finished my first of three years and I cannot fathom how much I have learned in less than 12 months. I love every part of my education, especially getting hands on experience."

"Pros: Competitiveness allowed for higher quality work, classes were informative, and class sizes allowed for in-depth discussions. Cons: Competitiveness fostered stressful environment, not all students receive funding, certain classes could leave you overloaded/burnt out relatively easy."

"Pros - the SPEA program is one of the top schools in this field with incredible array of resources and networking possibilities Cons - it's not a cheap school to go to and being a college town finding adequate employment to help fund this endeavor remains an issue"

"There are no cons as such, but the pros are 1) we have some of the best faculty. They are really friendly and available when we need them. 2) The courses are excellent and we are trained as if we are in the real world. 3) The university as a very a set of reputed career service faculty."

"The primary benefit of my program is the opportunity to participate in student jobs that allow for hands on learning for my field. As an archivist and records management student (specialization) this is invaluable. The classes themselves more or less tell you what to do in those work opportunities."

"High quality education. Very knowledgeable faculty. Career services was a bit of a letdown. Great social and alumni network. Challenging, but not an unduly burdensome workload. Impressive and beneficial financial aid package. A great place to go to law school."

"My graduate program is a challenging yet intriguing environment that fosters learning and the development of the medical student. The faculty are always availabe and open to questions and material and resoures used are all top quality to provide the most support in teaching the subjects."

"I love the Second Language Studies program, but only because my advisor is amazing. The classes are generally very good, with the exception of a couple professors. Otherwise, the administrative side of the department is a mess. For example, I was supposed to graduate with a dual MA in December but Second Language Studies never filled out their part of the form so I have yet to get my degree."

"The education at IU is phenomenal, however the price of said education almost outweighs the benefits of putting IU on your resume."

"The biggest pro of the Kelley School 3/2 MBA is the fact that you can cut out a year of undergraduate tuition. The biggest con would be the pricing of the MBA at almost $30,000 per year."

"Maurer is competitive but friendly, rigorous but doable. The faculty are both incredibly accessible and incredibly knowledgeable and educated. The city of Bloomington is charming, with a vibrant night life, a wide variety of ethnic food, world-class Broadway productions and shows, and only about an hour from Indianapolis."

"I absolutely love the graduate program I am currently in at Indiana University. The Masters in Kinesiology, with emphasis in Physical Activity, Fitness and Wellness is perfect for my passion for fitness and helping people achieve their healthy lifestyle goals. The pros of the program are that you can specify your classes to your personal needs and interests. Faculty are always willing to help and answer questions, the career and internship center is very helpful and networking with faculty and students is great. The negatives are that out of state tuition is very expensive and I received no help from the University in regards to scholarships or financial assistance. There are also a lot of people in the program so sometimes it doesn't feel very individualized because so many people are working towards the same goal and opportunities as you. Overall amazing graduate program!"
