"Indiana Wesleyan University Bachelors program was a good program . It was easy to follow and I still had time to work full time; although the fast pace and often long written assignments left no time to have a life. I learned many useful tools in the Business Administration and Management course that I can apply in my job now. Consistency lacked in the rubic grading requirements between professors regarding the "Proper APA Formatting" and most of all the financial department communication was a joke, too manylevels of command. Jack never knew what Jill was doing!"

"I will finish the program because I only have 7 months left but buyer be ware. You will fight the administration every step of the way. From onboarding to the program, to making your way through financial aid and a variety of other issues. The left hand of this school does not know what the right hand is doing. Additionally, do NOT trust them to give you all of the information you need. You must be your own advocate and know what you should be receiving from them. I have escalated more inquiries than I can count and cc'd everybody under the sun to deal with a wide variety of issues. I would give the program a 'C' but I am a self-employed professional that will now have the piece of paper to prove what I already know. The program has yet to teach me anything. At $30k to complete, it's disappointing. Most of the professors are helpful and maybe 10% are actually engaging. It is a means to an end for me and is fully accredited if I want to pursue becoming a CPA. That is about all it has to offer for me. Would NOT recommend."

"The school/life balance was not there, they would give you practicum and expect you to take a full class load. This is impossible to do with classes starting every eight weeks and practicum lasting over eight months at a time. You have to locate your practicum as well."

"First of all the review I'm giving is to just inform the future students of why I don't recommend this school. Overall IWU is a good school if you're looking to obtain your degree quickly and do not care about of the quality of education you are seeking. The degree program I'm in was sold to me as a Technology degree, it is not, it is a hybrid course geared towards business management and programming. The school being a Christian College asks that you cite Scripture in every class in order for you to understand how god plays a role in everything. In the real world, if you have been apart of it for a while, you know that religion is something you do not engage in during the business day. The class instructions are vague or are cluttered with so much information that it repeats itself, making it hard for you to figure out what actually needs to done. My most recent class has hardly any instruction at all and the professor just expects you to turn in the HW. For the small amount of time spent in this school, this the reason why I've decide to withdraw from my program and seek education else where. I feel that they are just another school looking for money and wanting to just give degrees out for those who participate."

"The program itself was okay. Teacher responsiveness has been okay over the course of the program so far. If you want to gain in-depth knowledge concerning the topics at hand, I would not recommend IWU for the MBA program, at least not the online version. All it consists of, is mainly discussion posts with papers interspersed throughout. The challenge level is nill, and my undergrad BME and Econ degrees with several times more difficult. There is very little critical thinking involved or fleshed out discussion that makes you think. In addition to the mediocrity of the program, the financial services have been lackluster to say the least. The corporate billing department--through carelessness or forgetfulness, I am unsure which--did not bill my employer for tuition assistance, so I ended up taking out loans I didn't need, costing me thousands of dollars in interest. I asked IWU to rectify, or at least assist with, the mistake. However, they decided they would do nothing. Overall, my experience has been negative thus far."

"After one year and with one to go, I withdrew from this program, disappointed. The pace was quick, but the main reason I withdrew was because I was not able to get answers to questions from some of the last few teachers in order to complete assignments, and these teachers had little interest in student success. From the answers I did receive from them, it was evident they were not familiar with the curriculum they were teaching or what problems they had assigned. It was as if they had not even read what they were facilitating. These facilitators just initiate the software and then sit back, expecting students to get all their own answers and help elsewhere. These people did not have teaching degrees or experience, and only one in 6 or 8 was even a professor. This experience was a super-frustrating waste of my time and money and I'm left no better off than when I started with this school. That's great since now they're downsizing at my work."

"I adore IWU and all the instructors. They were so encouraging and kind and really want to see students succeed. I was able to complete my degree with 5 children that I homeschool and keep a 4.0 GPA. They do not overwhelm you with workload but they also make sure you are prepared for your field of study."

"When I first started here, I thought this school was amazing, but then as I progressed through my courses, I realized it was not as great as I first thought. Now don't get me wrong I had some great teacher's who really knew what they were talking about and great advisers. But they shove their Christians views in your face, which I don't mind, since I'm Baptist but if you disagree with any of their views the teachers will ream you a new one. Despite the Christian aspect being a bit overwhelming, you also have teacher's who are extremely rude and do absolutely nothing to help you understand the material. Then you have the issue that almost every instructor has a different way of writing in APA Format and you can be reported to the Dean of Students if they feel you did not write the way they expect you too. Only its really hard to know which way to cite things when every teacher is telling you a different way to do it. Needless to say I am forever grateful to have earned my B.S. but I am also very grateful to be done with this school and moving on to a better school for my Master's."

"I enrolled in the transition to teaching for early childhood education. It was a horrible experience. Stay away from this school. They are just out to make money on their online programs. Instructor was bad. She gave little constructive feedback or often nine at all. She definitely was not interested in helping students learn."
