"Iowa State University is a great university to do your graduate studies at. The university is top notch for agricultural fields as well as engineering (my fields). Faculty/staff are really supportive of students' learning as well as helpful for finding jobs after school. Ames is a great town to be in, with wonderful public transportation. However, if you find Ames to be too small, Des Moines is right down the road and has even more entertainment options. Be sure to attend a Cyclones athletics event and get involved with VEISHEA in the spring to get the most of your experience at Iowa State."
