"I am very happy with the education I received and I had no problem getting job offers after I had my degree. Those that complain about the cost are being unfair to ITT, yes they are expensive but it is not hidden - you see and have to sign off on the cost. If it's too much for you, go somewhere else. Also, I have met many students that complain about job opportunities after receiving their degree but a degree does not entitle you to a job. Getting a job is not just based on education, it takes drive, networking and good sift skills. The teachers I had were great and qualified instructors, most of which are now teaching at top name colleges. I don't know the specifics of what the government says ITT is fraudulent in but it seems they are getting unfair treatment based on an abundance of naive people who think they can skim through getting a degree and be handed a $100K job without working for it."

"ITT Tech is like anything else in life. You get out of it what you put into it. I graduated in 1999 from Houston campus. We had some excellent teachers, and we had some OK teachers. There was a very high dropout rate because many people underestimated the commitment necessary to graduate. It isn't a cheap solution, and it doesn't guarantee a job. I graduated 16 years ago and I am now making around 6 figures. Here is what I got for my money: 1. debt - this will happen with any school. If you don't commit to the school and dropout, you will get debt without a degree - not smart. 2. job - After graduation, I spent 2-3 months looking for a job. ITT helped me work on my resume (they also help you find a job while attending school as they don't want you to drop out). ITT provided my resume to employers (Employers contact ITT for recent graduate lists). ITT helped me with interviewing skills, and I got my job through this placement service provided by them. 3. Hands-on experience. I work with a lot of Electrical Engineers, none of them know Electronics like I do. EET doesn't immediately make you an Engineer, it makes you a Technologist. You can develop into an Engineer, you can develop into a consultant, or you can immediately become a technician or Field Service Engineer. 4. Balanced education - They have Written and Oral Communications classes as well as Success Orientation classes. This isn't vocabulary or English 101. This is how to communicate effectively and interpret other's communication. This is where many other schools fall short. 5. Future job help - contact your local office. Tell them where you graduated. They will help you. If you have worked hard and have a good resume, you will get another job in your field. ITT isn't a get-rich quick method. It is a service you can buy that will give you a way to find a career, as long as you completely commit and try really hard. If you don't graduate, all you get is debt. You need to work very hard or else you are wasting your time at any school."

"I went to ITT years ago. Although it was expensive I did gain a lot out of it. OUR graduating class started with 100+ students but 15 graduated in my class. I Am currently working in one of the most respected companies in the WIRELESS industry now, over 15 years. Straight out of school ITT placed me in a Military contracting company specializing in Microwave systems. I mention this because, what you get from a school, work or the military is what you put into it. We also had a teacher who was not cutting it, the students took action and requested a new teacher, the school responded and replaced the teacher immediately. I had hard time getting to class and was put on academic probation several times. BUT I managed to get my butt moving and get it together. Yes some companies don't recognize this school, In my opinion your resume, how you carry yourself, back up your skills and handle interviews nails you the job. It's you."

"Half way through my degree they closed it down and forced me into another degree. They also expelled me for missing 9 days classes due to medical and refused to except my docters notice of absence. They also took loans out under my name and esigned for them without my knowledge. If you are concidering itt tech as your college of choice it would be cheeper to just go to a state university or community college. I know owe close to $100,000 in student loans for a degree that was taken away thanks to corporate greed."

"I will never recommend this for profit college! They never let you know how much they cost, they never let you know their classes DONT transfer, I have yet to find a job in my field of study and I graduated at the top of my class! ITT is a waste of time and money, their degrees are worth less than Toilet paper that has been used!"

"This place is a huge lie. They barely teach you anything and pass you even if you're not really getting the parts they do teach. Job placement is a joke and their stats for the same are lies. Trying to get jobs yourself doesn't work because employers won't touch you. Accreditation is done by an organization that is really only there to accredit fraud schools like this one. Ruined my financial life. Don't do it!"

"Read this carefully everyone! I am a graduate from ITT Tech. I've obtained an associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. Right before I graduated, I've gotten several job offers, ranging from $60k-$80k. Companies even paid for my flight tickets, per-diem, and lodging. I'm currently working with a company as an industrial Electrical Technician. I've only been here for 11 months and I've made $120k for the year. While attending ITT TECH, I've came across blogs just like this, where individuals would get on and slander the school. Not once did I let these comments about the school get to me. I stuck in there, did what I had to do, and earned my degree. I know several of my class mates from the same campus who are also successfully employed. Just remember this one thing, ANY DEGREE IS BETTER THAN NO DEGREE"

"I would just have to say that it was the worst mistake I ever made in my life. I didnt learn anything that I could take with me. The teachers are teaching there part time, and they just pretty much give you a pass. The tuition was really expensive not only that this were all student loans. Now I have this on my back with nothing to show for it. This school is a joke."

"ITT Technical Institute is not worth even half of what you pay to go to school there. The administration as a whole are incompetent. This school does not care if you learn anything here, you are just a number in a seat. Attendance is praised higher than grades, and they will pass you even if you do not make the grades so long as your financial aid is up to date. Which isn't always the case seeing how the financial aid staff is useless. You would figure a school that relies so much on financial aid would be on top of that at least, but no. Instructors are hit and miss, mostly miss(have had instructors themselves tell the class that ITT is not a real school). Parents, veterans, future students... RUN AWAY!!! This company is not what they represent themselves as. Save yourself the time, money, and headache and go somewhere else."

"I have recently stopped attending itt due to their horrible ethic. I was told upon signing up they would work with any work schedule, this was a LIE. They have horrible student services, teachers that do not respond to emails or work with you at all. I wish I had researched before I spent my money. TRUST ME DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!!!!!"
