"Unwelcoming environment. Unreasonable amount of projects in part-time program, especially considering most part-time students work full-time. Instructors are cold and make it a principle from the beginning of class to inform the students that they will not receive A's. Very difficult to communicate with instructors. Overall, very bad experience and I would not recommend to anyone."

"This school was a good fit for me for many reasons. First, they accepted transfer credits from Ivy Tech, where I earned an Associate's Degree. However, the downside was that they only accept a limited number of transfer credits, so keep that in mind if you are looking to transfer. Now, many two-year colleges have specific transfer programs. Second, the Liberal Arts professors were top-rate. It did not matter what class I took, the majority of my professors not only knew the material but had a passion for it that really showed and encourage the students to be engaged. Third, the Philosophy program could be better if they incorporated more logic courses (which they recently cut back even more), however, the professors were incredible and always had the time and willingness to meet with students. They have at least two very well known scholars associated with the Philosophy department. My second issue with the program was a lack of historical context. In the four years that I attended (two for my Masters), I did not see any class offered on the classics like Plato or Aristotle. Much of the classes were based on modern Western analytical philosophy."

"Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) is a diverse educational institution. It offers various programs and is close to the heart of downtown Indianapolis. It also has four hospitals in close proximity to campus which adds to the number of opportunities on-campus or near campus for student employment. The program I participated in was offered by the Kelley School of Business. It not only allowed me to complete a triple major and double minor but diversify my education, build a diverse network and create opportunity for myself whether it was through a fraternity for business professionals or case competitions."

"I graduated from IUPUI in 2016. I liked the academics at IUPUI. They have wide variety of majors to choose from. I transferred from biology major to psychology. The faculty at the school that thought my classes were awesome. Undergraduate research opportunities offered by the university get a one of my stars. Being located in downtown opens up lot of job opportunities as well as provides access to low price apartment rentals to the students ."

"The Master of Accounting degree from the Kelley School of Business on the IUPUI campus is a phenomenal degree. The professors are top notch and prepare you for the public and corporate accounting world, in my opinion, better than most other graduate accounting degrees on other campuses. I would recommend this program to anyone that is serious about being at the top of the accounting profession."

"With the high ideals and expectations IUPUI achieves each day, the opportunities offered here can only benefit your future. I can assure you, you will take with you the skills and talents gained on campus to any workforce and fully lead, grow, and serve, but most of all, make a difference. IUPUI offers over 200+ degree programs. You also have to opportunity to take classes from two universities in one place, Indiana University and Purdue University. IUPUI is a culturally rich campus and offers many student body activities year round."

"IUPUI provided me with multiple service-learning opportunities to explore different fields in exercise science from the beginning of my education through senior year. These experiences allowed me to figure out if I either wanted to work as soon as I graduated or if I wanted to continue on to graduate school. Besides these opportunities, the faculty was helpful with any questions and advice on the different paths to take. I chose to continue on to grad school, but I felt immensely prepared to enter the work force with the experience and education I received at IUPUI."

"The Philanthropic Studies program is geared toward teaching students the trends of American philanthropy. While not as applicable as non-profit management is in running a non-profit, the degree is focused on researching giving trends, as well as studying how to fundraise and work with foundations, as well as conduct research into giving sectors. One of the best aspects of this program is the level of networking opportunities that are available to students, as well as the vast array of internship connections."

"The current academic career I am pursuing at Indiana University Purdue University- Indianapolis is a bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science through the Indiana University School of Medicine. Through the relationships I have gained with the small staff in this program, I had the opportunity to apply to the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine Pathologists' Assistant Program and received admission for the fall semester of 2017. The elaborate advising of the program directors in my field allowed me to become the first ever student to gain acceptance into this nationally accredited pathologists' assistant program without full completion of my undergraduate degree upon admission. The demanding curriculum allowed me to excel at a competitive level of admissions, and taught me the necessary skills in order to develop into a graduate level student. Although my degree program would be considered small to most, it is an example to all college level students that even a minute program ran through Indiana University's downtown campus is carried out with a high level of respect and diligence in order to allow their students to receive the highest level of education that can be provided."

"IUPUI is a great school for those wanting to attend school at night! My goal at the end of my undergraduate journey was to obtain a B.A. in political science (of course a degree!) AND also to work while I attended in an attempt to minimize debt. IUPUI was a fantastic choice to help reach those goals. The night courses were well-taught, and well-staffed. I did not feel as if I received a sub-par education because I was a non-traditional student. Also, safety on campus was AMAZING! After all courses, I was able to contact security and have an escort to my vehicle, which was great. I highly recommend IUPUI for the student wishing to take night courses."
