"Even this is a new program, it brings me a wonderful chance to study legal aspect of my bachelor's major. Professors in this school are full of high-level experiences and they inspires us a lot in their subject. I cannot ask for more than this. My school maynot have a high rank in the list, but what it helps you in not only knowledge, real knowledge but also opportunity is undeniable. All I want to say after a year in this law school is: Thank you."

"Pros = very supportive faculty and staff, great student mentoring program, affordable, great location in relation to the local legal community, joint degree programs, and specialized law programs (i.e. health law, intellectual property, environmental law, corporate business law and criminal law programs) Cons = disorganized at times, the staff doesn't work well together, the administration sometimes forgets to focus on the education of the students instead of the bureaucracy of higher education, and very few scholarships for non-first year students"

"IU McKinney offers at least one thing that other schools cannot compete with: location. Located right in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, McKinney offers the opportunity for students to work for the top law firms in the state and the most sought after public interest positions in the state, all while attending school full time. McKinney also offers an evening program for those who work full time. The diversity at McKinney is great and continues to grow."

"PROS *IU Mckinney is really a great especially if you want to live and work in Indiana. The location of the school is one of its best assets. *The faculty is wonderful and has high expectations of students. They are available to help you and are responsive to emails. *I love having (free) lockers to use and the microwaves and refrigerators around campus. *The security of the law school building is good. *The bathrooms are kept clean. The Deans Tutorial Society (DTS) provides 1st year students with student - tutors, which is great because these tutors provide valuable insight to the professors and final exam. CONS *Lack of diversity especially when it comes to minorities. However, the school has made an tremendous improvement in the last two entering classes. *Computer access and printing - It would be nice to have more computers and printers available for student usage. *There is one student organization that seems to be kept at the pedastal and a good amount of student organization seem to be neglected. *It is hard to get parking near the law school at certain times of the day, especially in the morning even after 8am. This is particulary true, at the beginning of the semester."

"The school is great with first year students, but I feel like the teachers could do better for the upperclass. Parking and traffic is always awful. Scholarship support is great and there's lots of programming to support 1Ls. More scholarships for continuing students would be great, especially those not from the area to offset the cost of living in a major city."

"Good value and good networking with state government so close. Career support almost nonexistent. Strong social life but little cost of living value or sense of safety."

"While McKinney Law may not have the academic of other schools in close proximity, they more than make up for this with their superior networking and internship opportunities. Being the only law school in town and being located in the state capital definitely offers unique advantages that are not found at other law schools."

"Campus safety is not always the best. I receive emails multiple times a semester about a student being robbed or attacked etc. The campus is urban (it's in the middle of downtown). However, much of the crime occurs when it's dark. One should always use caution. Overall, I enjoy the school. The faculty is easily accessible. My major complaint, however, is tuition. If you are an out-of-state student, be wary of attending this school. Tuition is ridiculous. Each year I am denied in-state tuition. I hope this helps."

"The pros of attending IU McKinney is the accessibility to the faculty. I have never had an issue scheduling meetings with my professors. The career development office is great! They do their best to assist with student's career endeavors. The career advisers keep the student's abreast of employment opportunities. One thing I do not like about the law school is its lack of diversity. Additionally, I do not like how open the campus is to non-students. The school is located in the heart of Indianapolis. Anybody can walk on campus."

"The Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law is a fantastic graduate school for those interested in pursuing a career in the legal profession. The school is centrally located in the vibrant city of downtown Indianapolis and in walking distance of many top US law firms. Moreover, the alumni network from the McKinney School of Law is outstanding. There are plenty of top professionals from around the country who are working in the legal field and ready to help current students. The Office of Professional Development is also "top notch" and works tirelessly to assure that its students are successful in both academics, and their professional careers after graduation. The Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law is a quality institution that I would highly recommend to anyone interested in practicing law in Indiana or throughout the United States."

"McKinney Law has great professors and great support staff. I have had nothing but great experiences so far through school at McKinney Law. The access to resources for students is amazing. I have had repeated conversations with the Dean of the law school as he walks through campus. The professors are knowledgeable and very personal. I am proud to say that I attend McKinney Law."

"This graduate program is very intensive. The JD program is very rigorous and time consuming. The MA in Philosophy is an interesting program that allows students the option of either pursuing a general philosophy degree or concentrating in biomedical ethics. I am pursuing the combined JD/MA which concentrates on Health Law and Biomedical Ethics. I am in the first year of the JD program, but from my experience so far I would say that this is an excellent program. The professors are fantastic and the faculty are friendly and very helpful. This school might not be as prestigious as Harvard or Yale, but it is a great school with many unique opportunities. I am participating this summer in the Chinese Summer Law Program which is hosted by this law school in conjunction with Renmin University in Beijing, China. This is just one of the amazing opportunities offered by this school. Overall, I would say this is a great school with many unique programs."

"What I feel are the pros of my graduate program are: 1) the rigorous writing required in LARC (ranked in the top 10 writing programs); 2) professor's open door policy; 3) career services assistance to make ensure students find jobs, externships, internships, and pro bono work. What I feel are the cons of my graduate program are: 1) the strict grading rubric and 2) the lack of security on the premises."
